This does work but it will take several hours to complete.
Google for VMware and install it. It's a free program that creates an XP window inside Windows 7, and you can use it to run almost *anything* designed for XP that normally wouldn't work for you in 7.
Run VMware and install your copy of Windows XP into that.
Get XP up and running, do all your windows updates and install some antivirus.
You can then install Fix-it-Up on Windows XP.
Probably too much effort just for one game, but perhaps you have other games or old software that you really wish you could still use
