The speed the chess game in the tower of dreams

Why does it start off at an even pace and then, when you are half way through the game starts going at lightning speed, my eyes can't even follow it at that speed, and I always seem to get so close to winning but in the end it always gets me. The closest I have come to getting through the level is one more man on the opponents side but more often than not it is five or three left on its side. I am getting really bugged by the fact I get so close but never get passed it. I even checked the map and there are three rooms left in the game after that room, so once I beat the game I go to the next floor, then one more, and then I fight Lilith for my husband and child. But first I need to get passed this goofy chess game.

I agree! The speed of the game is entirely too fast for probably most of us! Is there a solution?

I do not even know how to play chess and at my age do not care to learn the game. Is ther any way to skip this game like others after a while you can skip it and it finishes the puzzle for you. They should make it so anyone can play not just chess people I never understood the game to begin with and gave up trying to lern it years ago.
