Can only get so far - then this game crashes!

Twice I have Download this game and I can only play so far and crashed at the same place in the game. Maybe someone should have played this game to the end to make sure it worked correctly the first time.

SAME issues and problems. Downloaded 2x's and still crashes at same point. Is there a fix for this? Is someone working on this?

The same thing is happening to me, as long as I played with the commercials it worked great, but after I paid for the game it does not play, keeps crashing...Help!

Same thing happened to me, half way through the game it crashed. Read the forum messages and tried the game again. The game crashed again. I'm using tomorrow's (05/27)free game. So, it appears that it's the game and not how we are playing the game. Hope the prob can be fixed soon because it happens to be a pretty good(4/5 stars) game.

Thank you all for the warning. As I dont need the added irritation today I will skip the free download.

Nice game, pretty graphics, and good puzzles. Cannot get past second pass through the Office (??). I complete the screen, go to 'Loading' screen and ... nothing. Game.exe halts and Windows 7 doesn't see anything but a normal app shutdown. This is the free version and obviously, the 'nag' screen is engaged. It just acts like the game exits by terminating and freeing memory. Development issue?

This game is still crashing about 1/2 way through. Have downloaded it 3 times now & same thing happens.. Good game, I'd give it a 5 rating if it would quit crashing..

I love playing the Detetive Agency. But it gets to a certain point everytime and stops. It's in the exective office, you have to find 6 pieces of paper, hammer, ect. once you find all the items, it stops and says gamehouse has stopped working. This is every time. The same scene, same message.

Why does this crash at the same place each time? I love the game but can't go any farther as it crashes. I don't want to buy the game until I can finish the game to see if I am going to like the whole game. I am afraid if I buy the game, that it will crash in the same area as well. What is the problem? Can you fix it? Kathy

Gamehouse told me they don't fix glitches in trial games. To buy it and then if it has a glitch they will fix it. . Basically they won't do anything about this problem.
