Don't get me wrong, Delicious Emily is the best time-management series around and I have played many TM's. I was just a little disappointed with this latest game. I missed the mini-games. There were a few but, not enough. I missed searching for the Easter Egss. I also missed the fireworks. I think too much time was put into developing different foods without all the extra things that make Delicious Emily so interesting. I think that the wedding of Angela was done too rapidly. Part of Emily that I love is her relationship to the other characters. The only reason why I am posting in this is in hopes that the next Emily will be a return to why I love Delicious so much.

The only thing I really missed was the Easter Eggs. I usually skip through the story line after the first time I play anyway. One thing that I have to say is a big improvement is the fact that when you replay a level, you continue to earn shopping money every time you play the level. I was thrilled to see that. The graphics are beautiful as well.

I agree on the mnini-games, which I think now were only every other day. In Childhood memories, there were more than this time, put still not every day. I liked how it was in Holiday season, when it was every day.
I also missed the easter eggs.

I liked the getting more shopping money thing, too. But the thing I thought was the biggest improvement was the more intelligent customers bit. The customers were horribly stupid in Childhood memories, getting second place in line without anyone in the first spot, and so on. And in previous games, I've always been a bit irritated by some customers who's gotten in the line with the longest wait, and eding up losing the heart. In this game, the customers actually changes lines if a spot opens up, and that's a huge improvement in my book.

Since Tea Garden I've missed the reservations.

I also missed the Easter Eggs (items from previous and other games) and I even looked for them in the first restaurant but never saw any so I had to check the awards to see if there even was one for it and there wasn't

I also agree with the wedding thing with the sister. She meets this slimy-looking character and within a matter of days they are married and you don't know how it goes. Does it work out and why?!

And I ALSO agree that the customers were better managed with their places in line, such a relief not to have a customer waiting to pay behind someone trying to make up their mind when there are empty spaces at the register, definitely helped to get more bonuses.

I agree with others that I miss the Easter Eggs. I loved hunting for them.

I also missed the reservations, and there could have been a few more mini games.

The thing I did not miss was the fireworks. They were fine in prior games, but I was unable to finish Emily's Childhood Memories because the game always crashed just as the fireworks were about to start. And after that crash, the game would continue to crash on different days and different levels. So I had to start over. And this was on a brand new computer with plenty of horsepower, new drivers, etc.

So I was never able to finish the game. And I wasn't the only one.

No help was forthcoming from the developers, so I finally returned the game and got my money back.

In fact, Childhood Memories is the only Emily's game that I do not own.

Major disappointment!

Did you get the Premium Edition of Childhood Memories? Maybe the regular edition would work.
