It sounds like your download didn't install properly. If you're still having problems, I'd suggest downloading it again. Usually the Delicious games don't run to bugs, but installation problems can mess up the best program.
The fruit bowl is two shelves below the strawberry, just above the coconut.

I can't find it -- I've clicked everything.
All I have is the fruit, a coconut with an umbrella, and a lotion bottle.
None of the active object interact with the fruit to make a bowl.
Please help!
