First, I love all the Delicious games and will continue to buy them and love to play them but sometimes this game gets annoying because there are so many interruptions. When the interruption is over you have to back track to see what clicks didn't take and do them over. I'd like to see Emily back at a regular restaurants again and I miss the reservations.

I completely agree, some of the in-level 'challenges' are good, like having to make time to do some other thing (probably because you CHOOSE when to go and do it), but the ones where you are simply interrupted by people coming in to talk, or the ice-skating, etc, are simply maddening! I hope they take on board customer comments on the nature/type of the puzzles when they do the next Emily game, although I will certainly buy it anyway as I love them all.

I too miss the telephone/reservations thing, it was a very clever addition to the levels. The characters/Emily's background were fantastic but were handled in a way that was too disruptive to gameplay imo.

This game is really fun but the people walking in and out and bothering me broke my concentration and routine plus speed. I felt like I was reading a comic strip. I lost my groove. Otherwise I am impressed with this game. The colors are so vivid.

I finally checked back onto this post and I'm glad to see there are people who feel the same way. I'm hoping since this was a "holiday" game that it was made to be a little different, after all holidays are about the family getting together and "all that that implies"! HA! HA! Hopefully the next one will be back on track. The more I play the Delicious games I have the more I think Delicious 2 is my favorite. It's more relaxing and still very challenging and I like the music.
