There are fewer extra tasks in this edition. In Taste of Fame and Holiday Season there was one every day in all restaurants. It really helps with the score.
Still managed to get expert on all levels, it's 1 gamehouse object I'm missing that's driving me NUTS.
But I agree with you, I missed the mini games / tasks, and there were fewer in this game.
When you're on the start screen where you hit PLAY there's a big "EXTRAS" on the bottom. Click on it and then click on the STRATEGY GUIDE. It takes a moment to load but you can get all the mice and GH objects there on screenshots. I saved the screenshots for the mice to my "PICTURES" folder and bring them up before I play so I can go back to the desktop to see where they are if I need to.
There aren't fewer extra tasks - all levels got a task - it's just that I think they decided this time not to let the tasks take completely over the game. Don't get me wrong - I love the entire Delicious series, including "taste of fame" and "holiday season" which kind of started a new era for Emily (& Francouis), but 'till now "Emily's tea garden" was really my favorite, to be honest - it already had the mice hunt going on and as much as I really like the tasks and more exciting & integrated into the game story line - I always felt it was kind of done at the expense of food variety and good TM paste. And now this game comes out and I think it's my new favorite. Because it does keep the task & integrated story line going, yet also keeps the bigger variety of cool stuff to make...
[continuing...] The only restaurant I liked a bit less in this was the 5th but I really loved them all. Plus they put in some other cool stuff like that hidden cards game which was a nice surprise to find and then learn how to find it at all restaurants. This game is absolutely great! Most tasks are fun yet not overshadow the TM paste really. Oh and my personal favorite card game btw was from the 1st restaurant, with all kinds of food on it, I wish there was a bit more of that and a bit less of the characters getting into positions... lol...
[3rd time is charm?] Didn't find any bugs really. Maybe only hard time on downloading... My only disappointment is from not getting 10 extra levels which was promised and not really finding an advice from GH people regarding that. As far as I'm concerned, if the answer is that the regular game to be released will only contain 4 restaurants then it's a total publicist rip off, do forgive me for saying. 'cause my bottom line is that I love love love this game and was more than happy to pay good money for the premium edition (not one of the winners boo hoo lol)...
[guess you can call me a square lol] only I like to catch those mice and other GH stuff by myself so really didn't need a premium edition for it.. still on the hunt for one mouse and one GH object (another tradition originating in "Emily's tea garden"). Oh yes and they added the scrap book which was cool! To cut a long story short - love this game, having tremendous fun playing it, totally appreciate GH's creative team for their new baby (and I somehow feel they will be comfortable with calling it that, it was made with love - no doubt about it) but am a bit disappointed with GH's customer support in general....
