Well I have been playing this game and it's good. I'm stuck on one part though and I was just wondering when they were coming out with a walkthrough for it. For anyone who knows the part I am talking about, it's the Make the Iron Maiden Cry puzzle in Elizabeth Bathory's torture chamber under the planet thingy! Well any help would be appreciated.

How where you able to get the game? Did they tell you a release date? I agree and I wish they would be more proactive about it.

Hey All- Just got off with technical assistence and CS and they said that there is no Born into Darkness anymore. No one had a clue about it and i was told that the Jan 6, 2010 was false. The CS and TA said it was removed completely. Go figure. Just wanted to update all of you who were waiting to purchase this game as I was.

I just saw that it was available... weird cause when I spoke to the CS and Tech rep they said it was no longer available. I have it now but it won't let me download it

The Hertic Sheild goes in the crypt, once in there look to the right of the screen between the two candles on the floor.

This was my first game purchase for 2010 and I found it highly enjoyable.
Finding the objects was different enough to not be like more of the same HOG type game, the graphics and voice acting were excellent, the story intriguing though the ending was a bit soso.
Sure the museum was the same as Autumns Treasures but purely cosmetic - it was only a small part of the game.

This is the second game I've started and quit, both with religious themes. What's going on? Are the evangilistas proselytizing via computer games now? They're invading everything.

I am up to the scroll with the gems and I am getting very miffed cause I cannot figure out what order to push the gems and I have read the scroll from left to right, pushed the gem buttons and nothing. Read the scroll up and down and still nothing. If someone could please help would be very appreciated.

You have to turn each cicle till you get the to bleed. When I did it the green was on the right and red was on the left. You also have to match lines

could somebody help my - WHERE CAN I PLACE THE LITTLE GREEN LION-STATUE???? there is no place for it in the livingroom or the wintergarden???? thanks a lot!!!

I too would like to know how to get past this puzzle. I think it's a bug in the program; the journal says the gems on the pedestal are supposed to light up, but I haven't seen them light up no matter what rune on the scroll I pass the magnifying glass over (or click on.)

Are you in the room with all the greek statues? If so, there should be a pedestal (near the door to the living room) that has no statue on it. The lion goes there. Carefully move your mouse around near the door, and the pedestal should highlight. Click on the lion statue in your inventory, then click on the indicated pedestal.

Check your journal. You need to turn the dials in the correct order by clicking on them. If you click on the wrong one, it'll just reset the puzzle and you can try again.

Don't read more into it than exists. It's just the public's fascination with religious conspiracy theories and such. There's lots of (fiction) novels, like the recent "Angels and Demons", that deal with religious themes, too. No biggie. Just don't take these as an endorsement (or criticism) of a particular religion.

What pink lights? On the keypad on the hidden elevator (after you insert the electronic key)? (mentally) number them 1 through 9 as follows:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
The sequence (which has multiple solutions, all mirror images of each other)
1, 9, 5, 3, 7 IIRC. Also, 3, 7, 5, 1, 9, and so on.

I'm playing the Mac version -- the mini-game with the scroll, magic round viewing glass and crystals isn't working for me; I'm doing it in the right order (according to Gamezebo cheat) -- nothing lights up or makes sounds or happens at all. Help?!

Ok I'm going absolutely mental here although I know this question and supposed answer is on here already.
I'm stuck on the Keypad minigame. I've been stuck here for about 1 hour!
I know you're meant to press only the corner and middle buttons and I've tried all the combinations suggested 1,3,7,9,5 etc but I can't make it work.
Perhaps if someone could tell me what the original setting of the lights is, like what lights are on before any buttons are pressed then maybe I could work from there....so screwed lol.

Hi Poppet! There's no way to reset the keypad, unfortunately. I replayed the whole game this morning just to see if that mini-game could be reset. But sadly the developers didn't provide this feature. Even going to another room, or exiting the game doesn't reset it.
So here's what we can do. Tell me what lights are turned on in your keypad, and I'll guide you through what buttons to press next.

I'm in the same place you are and i'm also playing the Mac version. I think there might be a bug because nothing happens with this puzzle no matter what you click on or what you do. Very disappointing. Its not like you have the option to skip it and move on.

Someone posted a workaround on another forum:
1. If you're on fullscreen mode, switch to windowed. And if you're on windowed mode, switch to fullscreen.
2. Move the magnifying glass around the scroll until you see the symbol that matches the first colored button on top.
3. Put the symbol in the center of the magnifying glass. When you click, the colored button is supposed to light up. But in some cases, clicking doesn't do anything, so obviously there's a glitch.
4. Here's the workaround -- MOVE your cursor downward, till the top of the magnifying glass covers the symbol, and THEN click.
Let me know if that worked!

Thanks, pistachio! I'm on MAC and trying to get through the Scroll mini game. If you put the very top of the gold frame of the magnifying glass over the symbol it works! Cover the symbol entirely! I never would have gotten it.

Hello Im hoping someone can help me , Ive been trying to play this game for months on a different site and now on here and I have the same problem over and over
I didnt even get passed the very first object-"the key" It says if you get stuck to click on Nathaniels gems or Ambers but nothing is working I clicked on both of their gems and the incomplete key and even the missing part that I can easily see but it wont do anything! Im so frustrated with this! PLEASE if anyone can tell me what the heck to do..lol its sosoo annoying!

I am also stuck after placing the 3 medallions on casket. Do you need to turn them after they light up? They don't all turn, at least not in the order in which they light up. I am really stuck on this and would appreciate any help at all. Thanks.

Don't know if any one still reads this , but I am trying the game for the third time on a newer mac to see if I can finish it his time. I am stuck at the elevator panel. does any one know what numbers I need to click in if the 1 and 2 are lit but nothing else? I would really hate to start over again. thanks

Hi Fennore,
You have to use the thumb drive (found in living room) on the computer from the office and you get an electronic key. Use that on the elevator. Click first on all the corners and last in the center.
