Vague instructions for "Elements of Ritual Scroll" puzzle

Hi everyone,

I've been cruising through this game and have reached the middle of the last level (I think) where I have to find symbols within a scroll in some order. I've spent over an hour trying this and still haven't been able to "light/illuminate" any of the jewels.

I think the game instructions are vague in the journal, are we supposed to click the symbols when we hover the magnifying glass over them? Is the order of the symbols at the top of the scroll supposed to be entered in order left to right? HOW are we supposed to enter them, clicking is not working...

I've found the triangle, upside-down triangle and the circle (wheel?)-like shape are on the right-hand side of the scroll, and the triangle and upside-down triangle with line through them are on the left-hand side of the scroll. Are these locations incorrect??

Hi Blimpy!

Are you a Mac user? We have a similar thread going about the ERS puzzle:

Looks like it's a common theme for Mac users.

You click on the symbols you see in the magnifying glass in the order you see them on the gems (i.e. the only clicking you do is when your magnifying glass is on the first symbol then a click, move the glass to the next symbol, then click...etc.).

Chances are you are doing it correctly you just have the same bug.

I have the same problem. This was a very enjoyable game up to the point of the scroll puzzle, which frankly seems unworkable. There is no way to light up the symbols on the scroll, and thereby no way to finish the game. At this point I really feel that Gamehouse has sold me a defective product and stolen my $20...
