Unable to play game

Just downloaded the trial and tried playing it. When I start playing the tutorial, I click on the first part of the key just fine. But when it says if I need help, click on the gems for help and a big arrow points to the gems. So I try clicking on the gem but it won't do anything.

Is this a bug or am I the only one with this problem?

Are you clicking on one of the 3 triangular shaped blue gems or the cross in the circle? I've had no problem clicking on the gems in the tutorial?

Also had the same problem but only on my laptop. Can not click on either amulets or hint gems. Game freezes on the handle of the key.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game but it is still happening.

I am having the same problem with the tutorial. I clicked on the first part of the key with no problems, then when it talks about the help gems, I try & try & try to click on the gems with no results!

Hi Fred29, 1/2

I could play this game just fine. Try the following:
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Click on Born Into Darkness, then click on the Add/Remove button.
Once it's uninstalled, go to Start, Run, type regedit and click OK.
Go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/GameHouse folder.
Right-click on Born Into Darkness and click Delete. Click on Yes to confirm.
Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/GameHouse folder.
Right-click on Born Into Darkness and click Delete. Click on Yes to confirm.
Close regedit, then restart your computer.
Wait until the add is finished and Re-download the game from GH website

Please be very careful, when you are in all these places, you don't want to wipe out something you still need, so just click only on: Born Into Darkness and nothing else.

I will not be responsible for any damage caused to the computer as a result of you touching the registry at other places then I mentioned in the first message. So PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME AND
only click on BORN INTO DARKNESS nothing else! If you don't feel comfortable enough to do it, please seek Expert Advise.
Note as well it will not only uninstall your game; but also any game progress you made!
I have downloaded the full version, so I don't know about the trial one...... It's a beautiful game and worth the effort!

i jus downloaded dis game tried all i can 2 get past this tutorals amd still nada, can u help me here place it keep saying click on this key part sumn sumn

I've got the same issue. I've done everything possible to try to get past the second part of the key. I've checked all the items listed in the support forum as ways to address issues. My computer is fine, the problem has got to with the game. I completely uninstalled, removed all traces and related files, then re-downloaded the game, and attempted to play again, with the same results.

This isn't the first time I've had problems with a game here, and it's gotten to the point that I almost dread trying a game here since they frequently don't work properly, the problems seem to happen more often on hidden object games, which are my favorite type. Can someone please check into the problems and try to fix them? I'd love to be able to download and play games without these ongoing issues. Thanks!
