Anyone know the exact procedure for placing the letters of the yacht's name (Esperance) in Chapter 9 ? We have tried everything short of using a joystick. I suspect there is a certain illogical order of placement and a non-standard spot of placement because all of the one's we know do not work. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks !

I guess I'm not at chapter 9 yet but I'll let you know what I find out. I wanted to say that I've been enjoying this game very much. It's not too hard but is still challenging enough. It's also easy on the eyes. Nice colours and scenes. I've read every Agatha Christie book (all 80 some) and I actually remember this story, but like all her books I can't remember 'who dun it'.

just got into chapter9 and went to the yaught to see if I could understand the trouble you've been having. I had no problem with this at all. The letters for the name Esperance fit right where they're supposed to. I just clicked the tip of the curser arrow on the spot and the letter went right in.
I can't remember if we had to find both e's, but the e with the accent over it goes in 4th place.

In chapter 8, can someone tell me how to put the chimney tools on the rack? I have ran out of time three times already.

I am having the same difficulty. No problem w/the the shovel and brush, but the poker and tongs are MAJOR ISSUES. I've done this chapter so many times it's getting really frustrating. Even with at least 5 minutes on the clock, they simply will not "sit and stay". MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, you have to BE VERY EXACT.
