Tonight I finished A Darker Shade of Grey - this is my third in the Women's Murder Club series. Although I felt this is the weakest of the three, I still found myself glued attentively to the computer, following the story and enjoying every minute of the suspense and the puzzles. The Women's Murder Club stories are really engrossing, they drawn you completely in, present the story in a way that you discover each and every piece of evidence and suspicion about suspects right along with the main characters. You play 3 women - Lindsay, a detective; Jill - forensics, and Cindy - a reporter. Each plays a different role in the investigation. This is definitely the easiest of the three installments but was just as fun as the others. The puzzles and HOG scenes are definitely a lot easier, and although you are given 5 hints per investigation only - THIS time they carry over. I found I rarely needed to use them and by the end I had 40+ hints available to me. Another thing that I love with this series is that the puzzles are always different from what you normally come across in these games. I've played enough sliders, pipe puzzles, spot the differences to last me a lifetime. WMC series always has fun and unique puzzles that are very relevant to the storyline. Loved this game, as the other two in the series, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery!
This was a true thinky game. I skipped the tutorial and did fine. Don't know what problem other gamer may have had. This game YOU need to figure out. And there are areas that SOLVE puzzles so you don't get frustrated. As a mature gamer, I loved it. I would not consider this kid friendly, unless young adults and I noticed that the rating on this is pending. Enough said. My only gripe is that you only have two options for the intros to each level. Either let it drag slowly thru the scene or skip all of it. I would have rather been able to click to the next scene. Other than that, it was a great play and I hope for more like this in future. Two 'older' Thumbs Up!
The tutorial is very unclear which makes it difficult to know how to play. An overall frustrating experience.

I really like this game. It's definitely worth paying for, even though I have a Funpass. This is the most engaging storyline I've ever had in a Gamehouse game. It's similar to Cate West, in that it has a very big storyline, but it's very different. It has some Hidden Object, some puzzles, and some plain old detective work. I like how you can play three different characters - a detective, a medical examiner, and a reporter. Even if you haven't read the books (I haven't read them), this is still a great game!
Not at all worth buying. Far too easy for adults making replay VERY boring. Story line is boring and long and the graphics are not great! All in all a real let down. Slow......!

This game had me stuck to my machine for hours. I couldn't wait to move to the next scene to move the story along. Please get the "Death in Scarlet" game that is being sold on Big Fish. These games are great!

I really felt that I was a part of the story, just like reading a book. There was great variety in the different tasks and while I couldn't wait to get to the end to see how it all panned out, I was really disappointed that the game was over. I hope we get more games like this one, it's the best!
