I like HO games that have stories and show live actions through-out the game. This had that. It had a twist and it wasn't short at all. I think people will like this game a lot, specially if you remember the 1st one. If you don't it does a quick reminder of "sort of, kind of" what happened in the first. Once you see it though, it should come back to you.

I enjoyed the first Twisted Land game, and this one is just as fun! Great HO's, puzzles that are a challenge for me, and the storyline keeps you on your toes-just when you think you have it figured out, bam your in a different room, etc. I like a challenge! Thanks!

Great game. I used my hint button to navigate because there were so many portals, especially through the fog and through the caves. Made my life a lot easier. Graphics were good, storyline good. You will be given many numbers, codes, sequences and I would suggest writing them down. You can go to the book to look them up, but you'll be going back and forth on some of them because they're complicated. Game as a whole was fairly easy. Relaxing to play. Scary in parts. I definitely recommend this one. Enjoy!
This is one game I cannot think of one bad thing to say about. It's challenging enough to keep you sucked in and keep playing and even though it is challenging i's not hard enough to make you feel crazy trying to run around to find this and that and where it goes.. You have the option to chose casual or expert mode and since HO games are not really my favorite genre I selected the casual mode where the hints charge up more quickly and if you do require help to go somewhere all you have to do is click the hint and it will click the arrow you need to follow to get the puzzle solved. If you play HO games regularly with no problems I would suggest the expert mode but if you are like me and do enjoy HO games but not your favorite type then select the casual mode like I did. The story was amazing, the graphic's were awesome, puzzles were well thought out and it's a very enjoyable game to play. The only down side to me would be that it would last a bit longer but then again it may have lasted a long time I was just SO addicted to it that I could not stop playing.. Great replay as well
Was a fun game but could have been better. Needed more areas for the seek and find games. Relatively easy to play. I disagree with the person who said that it is kid friendly.

If you havent played the first game you need to to understand the story. First one was on the mans point of view this is the females side. Very good game hint button recharges pretty quickley because it doesnt really tell you where to go which i like that but the hint will help you out on that. HOS are very good not to hard but not to easy. THe only issue I have with this game is they way the story ends. Really didnt give it much closer may be there will be a third one to explain how all theese people are in common. Just the dates for the ending and the female characture doesnt add up. Just a bit confusing . Good value ;;; WORTH BUYING Good replay:: I never replay hog games but i might on this one. NOT for kids. Just story line and a bit challanging for younger viewers Ready for the THrid
I did have to use the Walkthrough for the whole game, but I don't mind and I am so glad they are available to us. There was a lot of back and forth and only one way to get there, so if you are nitpicky about stuff like that then this will probably annoy you a bit. Not sure about replay value. I really enjoyed playing it and at 40% off too for the holiday! Thanks Gamehouse!

This game left me spell bound for several minutes after completion. When I was finished, I found myself wondering "what just happend". As I said in my headline, this has to be ranked right up with the best games of the year. Once started, I found the game hard to shut off before finishing. If you like a challenging game, that is significantly more than looking for hidden objects, I am sure you will enjoy playing this game. I would say this game is one continious puzzle, with a few hidden object scenes thrown in for something different. This game has a very large number of location, and their is no map to help you navigate or show you where remaining actions need to be completed. You just have to work your way back and forth. The game provides you all of the clues you need, if you are observant and check all locations closely; However, at times in order all of the objects and clues you need you have to click on almost every object in the scene. The graphics are great, the sound is soothing and looms in the background. The characters do not speak, so you have follow the cut scenes and read the articles provided to understand the story line. Like many of the recent games their are many scenes that have you locate one items, and then you have to move to another location or back to continue. As said earlier, if you enjoy a challenge, this is a great game. This is not a kid friendly game, as identified!
I really enjoyed this game. I would have to agree that is was even better than the first one. The story is very interesting and I like the puzzles as well.

I'm not a great reviewer, but I'll give it a shot.... 1st off, I haven't even completed this game, only played about 2 hours of it, but I love it enough already that I just had to tell SOMEone how great it is! I liked the 1st Twisted Lands a LOT, but this one even better... I love how its (sort of) the same story, told from 2 points of views... That's what totally hooked me! (1st game the male main char, this one, the female) It can be complicated, but there are easy ways to uncomplicate it.. such as if you aren't sure where to go next, ie in a maze-type area..or just not sure which way to go next.. the hint button is VERY helpful.. and does not need a recharge unless you get pointed directly at some sort of interactive part.. Otherwise you can click to your hearts content. As I said before, I'm not all that great at reviews.. but the HOGs & puzzles are hard but not TOO hard. Especially once you get used to the style.. Story line is great... some amazing graphics, IMO, but I'm no expert! But compared to a few hundred other HOG/Puzzle games I've tried, its pretty darn good! What else? I called it fast paced, as if you get into the story, you almost feel rushed, like you must hurry to save the character... (or maybe that's just me.. lol) Hope that's enough.. I totally would recommend this and the 1st TL to anyone who likes HOG/Puzzle games.. especially if you like the whole spooky/eerie atmosphere type. Enjoy!
I am in my 50s and like games that don't require too much thinking. I am able to play this game in the easier mode and get lots of hints. I notice some scenes are much like other games. It takes long enough to finish to be worth the money.

I was so psyched to play this game especially after the first one. I was on a rush! So I feel completely deflated. Imho, the storyline is weak. I read it all very slowly and all so I could link the two games together yada yada, but no, nothing, didn't really do it for me. I gave it four stars just because of the thrill of the end of the story. Wonderful end, but weak llinking them both together. I don't know if I'm expressing myself right. But as usual, graphics great, mini games great etc etc.It says 3 stars but it's really 3 1/2 . Have fun everyone..
I liked this game and can play it over again. I am glad I purchased.

in this story, angel visited the twisted land first explored by mark... in the first game it was eerie & dark but not really scary, but this one the atmosphere & graphics are really creepy and scary... yes, there is connection between 2 story, although you can play the 2nd one without playing the first one, but i suggest u to play the first one first... quite touching when mark recover & forgive angel in the end... somehow the sequence of the story is confusing, but that only add to the mystery ;)
Love everything about it. Great and eerie graphics/music. Interesting story line and unpredictable twists and ending. However, it's still a cliff-hanger like the first version. I wonder if it's just a twisted ending or they plan another sequel? Good HO and puzzles. Plenty of tasks and many are pretty hard to figure out. Pretty good play time. Kinda back and forth. Not good replay though since there's nothing extra. Recommended for playing. Not kid-friendly.
This game was truly creepy, and eerie! The story line was well thought out...even though it left me wondering..still am! The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible. If you try the easier mode it's extremely helpful. Also, the journal was excellent! The journal was great with keeping notes, and snap shots of things later in the game you need to go back to. I had a blast playing it...and it does mess with your mind..lol...in a good, creepy sort of way! (If that's what you like...creep-out...eerie game), This game has it ALL! Alawar Entertainment did another fantastic job! And...kudos to GameHouse for having it!
I love games like this. It has a good storyline and great graphics. It isn't just a basic hidden object game. It has puzzles and interactive tools to use. The hint recharges pretty quickly. It was a great follow up to the first game.

I really enjoyed playing this game. Very good graphics, an interesting but strange story, that ends a bit abruptly, and excellent puzzles. To take the advantage of puzzle solving, it's important to take notes where the game reveals codes, number sequences, etc. There is no timer, so this game is relaxing and it makes you think. I liked the original game a little better, but I'd play this one again in a few months.

Twisted Lands - Insomnia is a great game. It challenges you and yet it is fun to solve the different puzzles. I am addicted now to hidden pic games.
