Search for hidden treasure in 48 challenging levels
For a fairly simplistic HO game, this one has some surprises. First off, the HO scenes are somewhat difficult. While the graphics are not as good as they could be, they are acceptable. Items are often small and almost hidden. And once you find items, they may have to be used elsewhere, which always adds an extra boost to the game play. There are coins you can gather for extra hints, which you will probably need at one time or another. The story line, while predictable, is also interesting enough to keep you focused. The mini-games range from easy to moderately difficult, which further enhances the game. You can skip them if you choose. There is also a map that lets you move around easily rather than making you backtrack through previous scenes as in some games. Overall, this is a challenging HO game. If the graphics had been first rate I would have given if 5 stars, but a good game none-the-less.
I like the way the game challenges and keeps you intrigued at the same time

I found this one of the most challenging games I've played recently. It's very long and very involved so there's definitely good value in this one. Gameplay is fairly straight forward - you're presented with a list of items to find, some of which need another item in order to locate them. I felt the HO scenes were very cluttered and some items were very, very small which added to the challenge. It's a very clicky game. You can gain extra hints by finding coins within the scenes which you use to purchase more hints. However, if you run out of hints it takes FOREVER for the meter to recharge so use them wisely. And - the coins you find are not transferred over to the next chapter. You need to start from scratch and I almost deleted a star because of this. There is a certain amount of travelling back and forth between locations but there's an interactive map that let's you jump from site to site which cuts down on the tedium level. This one is worth taking a look at.
Enjoyed it - it was a little more involved than some hidden object games.

I really enjoy the HO games that are designed this way. Finding object that you must use in other scenes adds more gameplay and challenge. In this game you have inherited your grandfather's business which involves searching for a long lost sunken ship and its treasure. You must find it before the enemy does by finding objects both at land and underwater. The storyline wasn't really great but I have seen worse. I actually thought the mini games were a bit easy although many objects were hard to find. I really thought the game was not very long, I finished it in about 2 1/2 hours total. On the same note I am not sure I would have played it for any longer. Overall it was a fun game that I would recommend to anyone who is a HOG fan
Love the graphics and story. Fun to play for an extended sitting.

Truly clever puzzles and well hidden objects! And it's a fairly long game, so it wasn't over too quickly!

It's somewhat hard to find the hidden objects at times, EXCEPT you get so many hints it's never a problem. Some of the filler games are really hard, but once again you can hit "skip" and never worry about it and move on. I do like that you have to move from room to room to find pieces to take back to a different room, that's original. There are only 10 levels so the game ended quickly for me. Also, once you end the game it's over, it's exactly the same the next time.
I actually prefer this type of HOG because of the map, finding items that are at different locations, and having to use these items on other areas of the map. It has a little bit of everything including medium level jigsaw puzzles. I also like being able to choose a "relaxed" game mode so I am not under the gun trying to beat a clock.
