This game is drawn in comic-strip fashion, but it does not take away from the story. There are excellent voice-overs, and the expressions on the characters change often to fit the dialogue. There are many unique puzzles that keep you thinking. The hidden objects you collect all directly relate to the story, which is refreshing. Unfortunately, it's now 2014, and there is still no Part 2 (at least not on Gamehouse). Part 1 drops you right in the middle of the story, so the second half is necessary. Hope it shows up, because this is a unique and challenging game. Some sexual innuendo.

Best game I ever played from GameHouse. Engaging story, inventive mini-games, hidden object with a purpose, good actors, and well-written script. I cannot wait for the sequel to be released!

As much as I am not a lover of too much story, this game's story held my interest. Along with great puzzles, I lost track of time playing it. That is the true test of a great game. Like others, I can't wait for Part II to be released.

Although some of the hidden objects were almost impossible to find the game is very good. The puzzles are especially good.

This is a great game! It's very original, with fun (and unique) mini-games, and a fascinating story. Once I started playing it, I got so involved in the story that I didn't want to stop. I can't wait until the next part comes out!

This is a great HOG game, where there are several interactive mini games in each chapter to complete. All the games interconnect some how to give you another piece of the puzzle to get to the next part. The graphics are nice, story line is great, and the music was relaxing..I like the idea of a HOG within a story instead of making up bits and pieces of a story to make a HOG.Refreshing!! Some of the objects are hard to find but you get extra hints from solving the mini games. The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 was for that reason, and that in order to skip a mini game you have to use your hints.. I hope they drop that in Part 2... Also they could extend the timer on finding the 2 or 3 objects in a screen. Towards the end I only finished 5 or 6 levels instead of 10 or 12. In general the story is great and the interactive part is logical and easy to follow.. some areas glow showing you there is a min game to do, or you have to find objects like a normal HOG, or you'll see a hand for something to find to fix the bike, or taxi for example..Was very disappointed the game ended in the middle of the story.. The game was long enough, I played 2-3 hours over 2 nights. I hope it won't take forever to get the 2nd half.. This is definitely a keeper and a game I'll replay! Keep these coming, Game House!!

Good game. I can't wait until the sequel. I would like to find out what happens next! The only thing about this game, is that it is not kid friendly. But bedsides that, it is a good game.

I read the book some time ago, so it was fun to relive the book through the game's story line. The variety of puzzles within the game was great. There were times that the hidden items were "too" hidden even with the Hints. The good news is that the Hints renew pretty quickly. I've played the game twice now and enjoyed it just as much the second time. I look forward to Part II when it is released. Hopefully, that will be soon. Enjoy!!!

Fairly boring and WAY too short. Over and done with in no time flat. Not worth $19.99

Some of the objects were hard to find, Requiring hints. I like that I didn't have to wait for hints to recharge. The mini games were fun, some more challenging than others.

this was not just one of those lame hidden object games. There were so many different FUN puzzles to solve as well as your typical hidden object stuff. I loved the story line. It was totally intriguing and I can't wait for part II.

I had high hopes, however, after playing the demo, I uninstalled it. I found the puzzles way too easy and rather boring - sorry. The hidden objects were sometimes soooo tiny, or so burried, that the only way I found them was to click in spots that I thought were empty. A magnifying glass option would have been helpful . Don't click too much, though, because your cursor will be frozen. The dialogue was long, and the only option was to skip it rather than click through it. The basic structure and the storyline could have been interesting, but the execution of the game, I thought, fell short of some of the other games out there. Rework it a bit, and I think it could be a very good game. I'm glad I only played the demo and didn't buy it.

I really liked the puzzles and hidden objects, very interesting story but umm...some of the story lines....seriously? Not for kids for sure, it really could of been a five star game had it not been for the silly dialogue.

Just what I thought .... it read just like a paranormal romance novel. I kept telling myself, "this sure seems familiar." This is based on a novel by Marjorie Liu, one of the top paranormal romance novel writers, and she wrote the game script as well. This game has LOTS of puzzles to solve, and many are very challenging. There are hidden objects, but most are the puzzles. PLUS, there's a bit of romance starting between Delilah and Hari. Hari was trapped in a special box for a couple thousand years, periodically coming out to do his various master's bidding over the years. He "used" to be a shape-shifter, until a Magi stole his ability. Hot and hunky Hari not only has a hunky manly voice, at one point (psst, for all you ladies), you get to dress him, while he stands staring at you in his boxers. Mmmm mmmm, good! The storyline is good, but you don't get to click to jump ahead when the long conversations happen. There is a very faint "skip" on the lower right corner, but if you do, you miss out on much of what is happening, or what's going to happen. Throughout the game, you have your hints you can use. Use them sparingly, because if you collect 50 by the end of the game, it unlocks an extra to the game ..... Concept Art, and Hari's Wardrobe (again, you get to dress him in different outfits!) Don't forget to watch through the credits .... there's an extra scene at the very end! Can't wait till Part II .........

I LOVE this game...I only wish it would last longer! I can hardly wait for the next part to come out! Clearly well thought out and lots of fun! Quite the story line as well!

This game just didn't do it for me. I wanted to like it... I really did try. It seemed a bit corny, I actually LOL-ed at a few parts (particularly when she first summons the guy) and it just seemed like some over-acted movie that was trying too hard. I didn't much care for the graphics. Too frequently I found myself trying to figure out what the heck some black spot was supposed to be. The scenes looked like water-colored storybook pages, and though they were pretty, it wasn't the best for hidden objects. I got tired of this pretty quickly. Perhaps the storyline will keep some people playing through until the end, but not me. And definitely not for children.

I could not wait to see what happens next. Very romantic. Please hurry with part 2.

I love the story and the fact that the hidden objects have to do with the story and aren't random. Great mini games and quite a hunky co-character:-) Only gripe is that the story between the game play can be slow. You're given the option of skipping it, but I don't want to do that, just speed it up. Can't wait for part 2!

Very different HOG. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Where's Part 2? <big grin>
