Despite looking like a game for toddlers, Tribloos 2 is a surprisingly challenging time management game. While helping the Tribloos rebuild, you collect wood, build houses, make food, etc, on a platform reminiscent of a 2D side scroller. The game play is good, and it can be difficult to achieve gold (sometimes even silver) on some levels. Many levels require pre-planning before starting, so as to be able to complete the level. I was pleasantly surprised and, though I've not yet finished the game, I recommend it to players who enjoy games similar to My Kingdom for the Princess or Roads to Rome.

I read the reviews for the first game and was intrigued enough to give this one a try. So I cannot compare it personally to the first version. But I found it to be too repetitive, slow and frankly boring. It is certainly not aimed just at kids although kids can play and will enjoy it on a different level. For adults, there is a lot of strategy involved to get the highest rating on a level. I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. I found myself dozing off while playing...never a good sign.

I am enjoying Tribloos2 as a game. It is enough different from the first one. But I am really disappointed in the look of the Tribloos! The first ones were these adorable little blobs with legs and arms. These guys in 2 look more like kitty cats! Nothing wrong with kitties; I love them but I miss the little indistinct "critters" the first ones were.

this sequel is great. i loved the 1st Tribloos, and this one does not disappoint. beware the deceptive graphics. it may look like a kids game, but it is very challenging. i found myself getting gold very few times. you must think strategically to win gold and even silver. very addictive game...

I'm not very good at time management games, but I really loved this one. I did not play the original version, but this was just so much fun! I honestly can't see how anyone could get a gold rating on some of the levels. But thank heavens you don't have to! If you don't finish in the time allowed, then your rating is Bronze no matter how long it takes you. As the previous reviewers have noted, this game may look like it's for kids, but there is a good deal of strategy involved. I found myself restarting a level more than once when I had not adequately analyzed what was required before starting play. The timer does not begin until you make your first move, so you can spend as much time strategizing as you wish. I found myself staying up rather late several nights in a row to finish this. I loved it!

I played the original. The graphics there were very simplistic, but the gameplay was great. Here, the graphics were a little updated. But, the gameplay and the dynamics are excellent! The storyline is more indepth, more colorful depths to the loveable characters of Trey and Brainy, and the intro of Sandy was a nice touch. Some boards, are very easy to get through. But others, I do not mind telling you, are very difficult to get through. I've finished the game, all on gold, but many of the boards by the skin of my teeth. Anyone who doesn't give this game a try, and doesn't rate it at 4 stars+, doesn't understand Time Management games at all. Kudos to the game designers and testers on this one!
