This game was just irritating for me. The visual clues were a nice touch, but having to click on thirty tiny fireflies to earn a hint got old after the first one -- they couldn't have made the hint meter refill slowly, and let you hurry it up with the fireflies? I play a game to have fun, not to be frustrated. Also, many solutions aren't very intuitive or logical since the machines are all invented, yet when you have all the things the game thinks you need to solve the remaining puzzles, hint is no longer available -- you can't even figure out which screen you are supposed to work on and there's no game mechanic to help you, so you just flail around clicking on stuff until something reacts. I think this isn't a HOG -- it's a puzzle game (which I don't like). I realize that means some of the other reviewers might say I must be stupid and just want to be led by the hand -- but know what? I don't care -- I'm not out to impress anyone with my intellect when I'm playing a game. I like games that are fun for me and don't take a long time to complete, so I want accessible hints when *I* choose to use one. My work is challenging; my games don't need to be. I usually play games through to the end, even fairly boring ones. This one exceeded my boredom and frustration threshold by the second set of screens -- I uninstalled it.
