This game consists of spot the difference and find the object over and over again, very repetitive and starts to very annoying after a while, there are puzzles but not enough of them and they poor quality and not very challenging, there are a lot of other games much better than this one so don't waste your time and money.

One of my fave games. Loved the concept of the magnifying glass to search for the items. Wish all HO games had this feature. Didn't get bored at all. Involves spot the difference, puzzle games, HO games, find the bonus deerstalker hat in each chapter and his pipe in each level, memory game and categorising the people - the game had the lot. Hope there will be a sequel.

I downloaded the free trial version and enjoyed this game so much that I decided to buy it. I certainly don't regret it. I recommend it to everyone who likes HO games and mystery stories.

i was terribly disappointed with this game. i love Sherlock Holmes and maybe my expectations were a bit too high.. no relaxed mode (timed only), graphics were not that great, poor voice overs, objects were exceptionally hidden though. the side puzzles were way too easy. most of all each case was much much much too short! i grew bored of this game after the first two cases. im keeping it installed for now for my sis, she seems to like it. but with no back story, no feel for the characters of each case and no chance to actually work a case out yourself its just..boring. for Sherlock...i really expected more, something more involved, witty, challenging and lengthy. 3 stars are out of great respect for Sherlock only and i see others seem to like this game very much, i hope it doesn't disappoint you as it did me.

Really enjoyed this one. Unlike a lot of the hidden objects games which I find rather frustrating since you can't "see" half the items they're asking for, this one you actually can. Love the magnifying glass feature. Great fun!!

I absolutely LOVE this game. I LOVE Sherlock Holmes and mystery type games. This is the best I've ever played to date even better than Mystery PI games as that was my all time favorite. Now this is. Definitely hope to see more. There are 16 chapters (cases) to solve and you definitely need the magnify glass as some objects are a real challenge to find as you have a certain amount of time to find all the items. You can also accumulate hints and bonus by finding Sherlock's hat and pipe. I must admit I did get hung up on a couple of chapters and had to start over from that chapter (not the beginning) but still love the game. Also like how you get to eliminate people and find the guilty one. This is different than any hidden object game I've ever played. This game had LOTS of variety. You're not just finding stuff. Also had challenging puzzles. Normally I'm not one for "dialogue" in a game but this had it but it was very interesting and didn't bore me to death. Hope to see more Sherlock Holmes and similar games to this. Definitely worth purchasing. I immediately purchased the game right after my free one hour was over. I found this game to be very addictive, involved, and even think it would be great reply. So if you like Sherlock Holmes (or mystery type games), hidden object games with challenge and a lot of variety (not just finding things) well this game is definitely for you.

This game had the whole enchilada! The game includes many cases to complete. It also includes a bonus mini game that you can earn (it is like master mind). There are two basic game types - hidden objects & spot the difference. Also included in each case is a mini puzzle games. Some are more challenging than others. Loads of fun for puzzle enthusiasts!

The 5 star rating got my attention for this HOG, but was also the cause of my disappointment. Although original in some ways (eliminating suspects in classic Holmes' style), it became too repetitive too soon, and then boring. There's the same pattern to every case: a "find the differences between 2 pictures", followed by a basic HOG, then a puzzle. Even the puzzles get repetitive. The identification of the suspect is very easy, but original. I enjoyed the dialogue - real Holmes' style, including the dry humor. The graphics and voice overs were fine for me. The tutorial is a "play as you go" format, and well done. Remember to find Sherlock's hat in each HO screen. Even more important: look for Sherlock's pipe wherever you can; each one is worth an extra clue! During free trial you can skip a lot of the dialogue and the suspect info; all the info needed to solve the caper is provided when you eliminate suspects.

What you would expect from anything dealing with Sherlock Holmes. The graphics are nice and even though you are solving murders, it is not overly graphic. The bit of humor which is laced inbetween the dialogues is a nice change. The hidden object scenes are quite detailed and some of the objects may be a bit difficult to find but over all a good game. Each case has a maximum time of 25 minutes to solve which is ample time.

I thought this was a great game. I liked that you had to find Sherlocks' hat in each chapter, along with the other hidden objects!!

I really like this game! It's a different kind of hidden object game. Very interesting to play and has a little bit of intrigue. Thumbs up! Hope to see a SH2 soon.

The game is based on 16 Holme's books, each book (it's not really level, one is not harder than the other) has the same pattern consists of hidden objects, find the differences and minigames. It's fun guessing who the culprit is in each book. The last book is a big conclusion and most fun. I gave it four stars because if you play a lot of HO games, you'll find minigames here not challenging...for me most take less than a minute. Plus once all the cases are solved, when you replay you will find that objects are hidden at the same place. The extra minigame rewarded at the end for collecting all the Holmes' hats is also a let down. But all in all it's worth it for Holmes' fan and fun 16 detective stories of HO.

Probably the best hidden object game I've tried so far. Not the greatest storyline, but obviously well thought out. The objects are well hidden, sometimes needing multiple hints to get through a level, but you can also get extra hints by finding Sherlock's pipe in each level. Finding all of Sherlock's hats unlocks something special. I haven't found them all yet, and I don't remember what, so I'm going to go back and redo all the levels where I'm missing a hat. Awesome game.

Great game. Challenging. Fun. Satisfying. Loved playing the original so much, I bought the second one without the free play for 1 hour. I recommend this game to all hidden object fans.

This game is a wonderfully entertaining detective game - set in London. With 16 cases to solve, you will have hours of fun. With many hidden object scenes and various mini-games, will aid you in the actual investigations and help to discover who was the killer in each case (book). Since many of the object are hidden extremely well or are very small, you must use the magnifying glass feature that allows you to zoom really close into the scenes. While each book is timed, 25 to 35 minutes each, it was enough time to complete each book. You can quit at almost any time and your progress is saved. Overall, this game was wonderful to play and the story in each book was very interesting.
