I thoroughly enjoyed playing "The Fool", best I've run across in quite a while. Not too hard or too easy. Plenty of challenging and unique puzzles (I only skipped one, shhh) scattered among very good HO scenes. Has some nice jokes thrown in that increased the enjoyment. I highly recommend giving this one a go.

I really enjoyed the graphics and story line of theis game. The game puzzle part was pretty simple to follow on the easy choice. The easy choice gives a relaxing mode to play your game. Very well put together for anyone to play. I noticed if you kept clicking on a person they had something different to say each time and some of it is pretty funny. Give this game a try. It does sure lighten a mood

I love medieval/history/fairytales and all of that. What was great about this, was that it threw in a little bit of aliens and goofiness to make you laugh and want to move forward. I only got stuck once in the robot city, but other than that it progessed nicely. I would have loved for it to have gone longer, I hope they make more in this style!

Finally! A nice, fun game to play. I've stopped playing the dark, evil games. Guess my eyes are getting bad because everything is just that, dark. And I don't like scary. This game was quite easy to discern the objects. I admit I skipped through a few of the puzzles. I played it late at night and just wasn't in the mood to think. They weren't really difficult and, if I play again when I'm more awake, I'll probably put more effort into them. The storyline was original and quite humorous. Oh heck! It was just a fun game. The graphics were good, the music was good, the storyline was good...I guess you're getting the pattern here. I will most likely buy it to play again later.

I really enjoyed this game. All 2-3 hours of it. Yup, that's it, it only took me about 2 or 3 hours to play. (I didn't keep track of time very well, so about 2 or 3) The story was cute. The gameplay was interesting, music was nice, and graphics good. But it just seems like its over before it really gets good and started. There are only 5 worlds, and they each take around 30 minutes give or take. I have to admit I skipped 2 or 3 puzzles. Most of the puzzles were pretty fun, and challenging but not too much so, but a couple of them were just about process of elimination and got tedious. All in all a good game, a nice way to spend a couple hours, but don't expect it to keep you busy for very long.

Okay, I've just played the trial version and was very pleased so I went onward to purchase. I have not completed the game yet so I don't know if it is too short or not. I LOVE MagicIndie games and have written to them about a follow up to Robinson Crusoe and the Cursed Pirates. This game, THE FOOL, is very relaxing and fun to play. I like the game and puzzles, so far. The hidden objects are too easy to find (for an adult) but probably perfect for children. I know my niece / god-child will love it. She loved the cursed pirate game.

Every so often there is a game that falls right in the right spot. This one is IT. I really enjoy playing it. Not too easy, not hair tearing frustrating.

I couldn't get passed 2nd level. No help on what to do or how to do it. I guess this one was over my head.

I tried this game given all the great reviews. I was very frustrated. I gave it a couple of tries. Hints were not good. I play just about every HOG I can get my hands on, this by far was not one of my favorites.

It's great when a game like this comes along - especially an HOG - my favorite! The storyline is novel, well narrated, and has great graphics - as does the whole game! The puzzles are quite different (and refreshing) from the usual HOGs. In the relaxed mode, you can skip them with no penalty and still win the prize! The HO screens are well drawn with some challenging discoveries. You can get hints from the owl but be selective even in relaxed mode. My only constructive comment would be to have a reference map - at least to see where you have been if not to move more easily from place to place. This could be a contender for Game of the Year!

I just finished playing this game and I must say it was a refreshing change from all the "dark" HOG games we've been offered lately.. The storyline is humorous and the gameplay is intuitive. Although there is no hint system outside of the HO scenes, the area to search in each level is pretty limited, so you know the answer has to be nearby. There is no endless back and forth, getting lost through areas you've already covered. The main character, the "Fool" has to find certain items of clothing in order to get into specific areas to save the Princess, including a baby dragon costume. Too funny! He travels through several beautifully drawn worlds to further his quest, solving puzzles and interacting with the characters. The HO scenes were not difficult and included red-lettered items you had to manipulate in order to find them. The music was relaxing and fit the theme of each level. Although this would be a great game for older kids, adults would definitely enjoy it as well. Give this game a whirl for an evening of lighthearted fun!

Loved the game, loved the graphics, loved the witty remarks. An absolutely fun game with some pretty difficult mini games. Thank goodness for the 'skip' button. The only negative comment is that it was too short. Everything now is 'to be continued'. Definitely still a winner and I highly recommend playing it. Enjoy!!!

I really enjoyed this game :) There is a nice mix of puzzles in with the basic hidden object scenes. I like that the game travels to different locations. Nice graphics. Good story. 2 play levels--I played the harder one and only looked for help once in order to find an item.

I loved it, the graphics were great the story line was funny. I didn't need to use too many hints to complete this and only got stuck a couple of times but I really enjoyed this game. Great Job!!

Bright imaginative art work with good puns and witty references and, fun AHHA moments with the interactive hidden objects. Lots of Cut Scenes move the story along tho where the story ended up was great for a SciFi buff albeit a bit surrealist and slightly weird. Were the astronaut graphics Yuri Gagarin ? Oh! and look out for the skelton hand chasing the eyeball animation !!

I love the graphics, nice music. The story is quite amusing and funny. HO, puzzles, and tasks are fairly easy to complete, which may disappoint some players looking for a challenging game. Kid-friendly. Short play time. The extras feature is actually not extras at all, it's just a link for other games made by same developers. It should be labeled "More games (from the developers)" :) Very enjoyable for playing. Since it's pretty short, it may not be a good value for many people.

This game is a fun adventure. It involves hidden object scenes, simple puzzles, and collecting and using inventory items. The graphics and storyline are entertaining. It is bright and humorous rather than dark and depressing. The hidden objects are not obvious, yet they are not frustratingly hard to find or too blurry to recognize. The puzzles made me think sometimes, but they were not tedious or overly complicated..
