This game has absolutely beautiful graphics, but it stops pretty much there. I think it's great that it leaves the player to figure out what to do, but it does too much of that, too early in the game which is at the determining point of whether or not you want to put time into it. It's supposed to keep your interest, and I can say after about 15 min. (at the most) I was disinterested and turned off. The character is flat, and pathetic (sorry). It's one thing to be lonely, it's another to be pitiful. Maybe you'll have more fun than I did? I would NOT purchase this game.
It's definitely a different type of hidden object. It's more of a thinking game than it is just searching for objects. It can be very difficult sometimes to figure out some of the puzzles, and sometimes just as difficult to find some of the pieces needed to complete a stage. I would, however, like to spoil one particular part of the game, so that anybody who plays it won't end up doing the same thing I did. There is a particular part of the game where you must forge new horseshoes for a horse. You do NOT have to pick up all the horseshoes to forge them. If you forge the horseshoes first, and then pick up the rusty horseshoes, they will remain in your inventory for the rest of the time, and it takes up space. I wasn't very fond of some of the puzzles because it seemed as though they may have been a little too vague, leaving me completely lost, waiting for the Skip button to light up. Other than that, I think it was quite challenging.
This was a great game... it plays slow but the puzzles are complicated and really need to be thought through.

Everyone is sooo right on this game.. You get fooled w/the nice graphics,, and the music is great.. but after that it's all down hill from there.. forget that you have to be up hill to go down hill..and with this game you never make it off the starting block.... :0( I love a challenge but this as extremely frustrating. There are no sparking areas to click on or the cursor doesn't change to give you a hint on what to do..I wasted 37 min just getting to the museum.. the star thing w/ the taxicab wasted a lot of time if you click on the stars in order they'll make a path.. the path stops if you go off track..the hint button takes waaayy too long to recharge.. I'm in the museam and have no clue what to do and the hint button won't even charge.. I 'm sorry to give a negative evaluation, but this is absolutely the worst nightmare of a game I've ever downloaded. They need to take this one back to the drawing board.. This is a HUGE disappointment, i was really looking forward to a nice HOG, I'm sorry I wasted the time downloading it..my advice... don't bother...
This game didn't always make sense. Either unclear or no directions at all. Silly story, irritating game.

This game was so difficult-if it hadn't been for a walk through I found online I would never have finished it. The objects that were hidden were often impossible to find and many of the mini games I had to skip because I just couldn't get them and that is unusual for me. It also wasn't just about using logic because many times logic had nothing to do with it. It WAS a different kind of game but I do not think I would recommend it. I played it on a free day and I am glad I didn't pay money for it.
This game was pretty good, it got frustrating at times but every game has a moment like that. I really did enjoy this game the way that you actually had to think and couldnt just click hint whenever you got stuck. Its a good game to get your brain up and going

I admit I was very confused by all the good/bad reviews for this game. I depend heavily on other persons points of view before I even bother to download a game. I sincerely thank all of you who take the time to do this. What is so great about this Game house site is that there is a game for just about anyone, good or bad. We all have different opinions and that is what makes this site interesting enough for me to visit every day. I thank you Game house for giving your game players a chance to download a free game every day..in today's economy that is awesome. Now....I dont like giving a bad review because I know how hard it must be for a game designer to create a game and I appreciate the talent immensely! I have to agree with the bad reviews on this game however and I did give it an honest try. It really isn't an HO game at all. I would call it a search and hunt for clues to move you along game! Unfortunately the game doesn't let you do that. By the time I am done clicking on every item on the screen that might possibly have a shred of relevance....I am so fed up and bored that I just close out of the game. This time I actually deleted it completely. This game is unfair and very unclear to the person playing it and I think it should be retired. Try creating more games like "Settlement Colossus" that was a totally awesome game. In closing....many kudos to those of you who really enjoyed this game and gave it 4 or 5 stars. Life is enough of a jumbled up mess for me, when I want to relax with a hidden object game, I certainly dont want it to be more confusing and frustrating than my real life! LOL! On to better games Game House PLEASE!
I have to agree with 2 of the other reviews. This game is plain frustrating. I am not even sure I would call it an HO game. There are many better games out there then this one

I really like games that don't hold your hand all the way through, and this one didn't disappoint. The graphics were great, objects hidden quite well, and you really had to pay attention to know what to do next and where to go. The mini games were challenging, which I enjoyed, until the last two. There were no clear instructions to what needed to be done, nor was there any guessing or hints. I had to skip them because of the lack of direction. Very frustrating since I HATE having to skip any puzzle. Overall, very good game for anyone looking for a major challenge.
Just played the full demo of this game. As I usually don't really enjoy adventure games all that much, I wasn't sure what to think. I basically decided to try it cause it sounded like a bright, cheerful theme. The game starts off in a unique way - I was first put off because I liked the ideas of the beginning puzzles, the game was giving me the answers practically. This only lasts for the first scene - after that you're on your own. I know in some of the other reviews people were criticizing the lack of direction or ability to get the answers through hints - but seriously none of them is so hard that you'd need to. Do they take some thought and a bit of searching around? Yep but items around on the ground reveal a name if you hover over them so how hard is it really? I found the game quite enjoyable and refreshing in that it was original, a sweet theme & that you don't have all the answers at your disposal! One scene toward the beginning with the cab and the stars gave me a bit of trouble at first but if you think about it and think of where the pieces SHOULD be in order to complete the puzzle, you will find that they are. I was actually disappointed when the demo ended as you really kinda get drawn into wanting to see what happens next & solving the puzzles as they come at you. There is a very good chance I will be spending my monthly credit on this one. Thumbs up!
Once I started playing, I didn't want to stop. The game kept me interested.

This game has a cool story that spans different time periods and hooks you from the start. The graphics are good and the time warp was a nice surprise. Its addicting to get the next time capsule and clues inside. The love letters are beautifully written and keep you wanting more. The puzzles and locating some of the objects needed is challenging, but if you like thinky hidden object games you'll LOVE this one! I'm not a big fan of hidden object but I play this game every free moment I get. I can't wait to see the ending.
Heart Touching! I liked this game there is some parts that are real tricky and make you have to figure it out. That is what makes it fun. Loved it.

Wow! YIKES! What a wreck of a game! I think this just hit the top of my "Stop madness, cut off, pull the plug list." This is by far one of THE WORST - YES WORST games I've ever played and to think that I waited since JANUARY to play this? Gamehouse had this on the upcoming soon list for about 8 MONTHS? Like this game was a big deal? The creators of this game ought to be ashamed of themself and Gamehouse should of never even brought this to the site and having the wait of 8 months. This was NOTHING like I thought it would be and I do mean NOTHING. I think the very first review - xenutia's review for this game given pretty much says is all. This so called "game" is beyond ridiculous and cheesy. Not that this was too hard for me but I'll admit it took me just a bit to figure out what to do because all this game gives you is a tab with a list of "things to do" and then you just have to look around (wander) until you stumble across something so if you are one that doesn't like games with little to no direction, you won't like this. There is a hint button which is so-so on charging back up. Without using the hint button though, you're wandering around which I wouldn't of minded if this game wasn't so ridiculous on what you have to do. I couldn't get into the story and could pretty much tell by the first scene I wasn't going to like this - the heroine asking to help open up her email by searching for clues finding her best friend, favorite building, etc., the microwaving her food for 8 seconds but I did continue just thinking it might get better - NOT. Then there is a hidden object scene outside the window that just about made me nauseous, the movement and flashing. Just barely made it through that and once again thought it just might get better; an even bigger - NOT. When I got outside the apartment to the taxi having to find hub caps/license plate and place them on the taxi. Then to top it off "make a star" before she could get in? Because the driver was "supersticious." That's where I also had to stop the madness and cut this off. I just could not bring myself to continue playing this game. I absolutely HATED this game. One of the worst. I can also see why she is "star-crossed" if she can't remember her best friend. LOL! I'd give this a -1. Give it a whirl though, you may like it as one reviewer while I'm doing mine here has liked it so far however there is honestly not ONE thing I liked about this game. VERY DISAPPOINTED! WHAT A LET DOWN!
For now I'm going to give only 3 stars because is very frustating not to know what to do, you have to guess how your going to find everything you need, not even a hint will help. We'll see how it ends I hope it's good I was so wanting to play this game for months.

this game had me lost right at the beginning. an arrow pointed to what u needed to do in the 1st scene, the mini games were pathetic-at least the ones i played. granted i didn't play this game for long. i just couldn't take the frustration.

Oh dear -- I hate giving a game a bad review, because I know the designers but a lot of time and effort into it, but I really couldn't cope with this one at all. I always persist a good way into the game to give it a fair chance, but with the best will in the world, I just couldn't continue with this one because it was so ridiculous. The first scene asks you to help the heroine get into her emails by answering some simple questions. Who is her best friend? her favourite building, her favourite restaurant etc., and you have to hunt around the room to find out what the answers are in what I can only describe as rather bizarre puzzles. In one puzzle she has to microwave some food and manages to heat up a chinese meal in 8 seconds. I'd love a microwave that works that fast. I'm not surprised the heroine is in need of a date, if she can't even remember who her best friend is and continually suffers from food poisoning from eating uncooked food! There was a hidden object scene outside the window- a cityscape - which literally gave me a king sized headache after about ten seconds, as it whorled and flashed and I felt quite sea sick by the end of it. Then when the heroine finally gets out of the apartment to get a taxi, she has to put the blooming taxi's hub caps and number plate back on for cabbie because he's lost them!! Can't he get out of the cab and do it himself? And who stores a hub cap in her purse? It was totally ludicrous. I actually gave up the game when the cabbie exclaims how superstitious he is and he won't drive off until she's connected all the stars on the ground. Either this cabbie should be in an asylum or she should. I really couldn't cope with another minute of it, and got out as soon as I could. It's possible people might like this game, but I'm certainly not one of them. Sorry, but this game gets my golden turkey award.
