I really liked the first Snark Busters game, when I saw this one I downloaded it and the second installment. I was so disappointed! I remember constantly being on the edge of my seat to see if I could "catch" the snark in the first game, but this was filled with a boring story. I thought for sure I would care if the main character saved her fiancee, but I didn't. I just wanted to get through the story to get through the game! I want the game to be about the Snark, not the other stuff! Maybe the series will come back to its first love, but I am not holding my breath waiting!
I loved the first two Snarkbuster stories, so I came into this one with high expectations. Although it had the same comic steampunk styling and overall storyline, the game mechanics were different, and a little distracting, to boot. I found the whole process of developing photos for each scene tedious after a while. The game also seemed a little shorter than the first two. However, if you love the Snark Busters, you will probably want to play this episode - it has the same high quality puzzling and art that makes the others stand out. If you haven't played the others, play them first.
This is the first Snark Busters that I have ever played. I found the objects a bit hard to find. I kept having to use the hint button to find the last object, which drove me insane. The puzzles were not as hard to solve. There is a great deal of back and forth in this game. If you don;t mind the back and forth, you should enjoy this game. The grafics of this game are quite lovely.

I loved the first two games, but at first, this one was hard to get into. I was only going to give it three stars because It just didn't seem to have the same feel that the others had, and some of the "steam punk" music seemed to be missing. I'm glad I stuck it out though, because it kept getting better as it went along, and the artwork is outstanding. This is a fun, relaxing game --a good one for kids.

This is the first Snark Busters I've played, and I felt a bit disappointed. I played in the Easy mode, and maybe that made the difference. It was an exercise in watching the cursor turn into a hand and grabbing an object, and then placing that object in a wheel that the game opens for you. No lists of things to find. The game runs smoothly; objects are easy to pick up and drop in the right place. Hints are truly helpful. Mini games can be skipped. The graphics are good and the characters are fun and lively (ghosts not so lively but fun nonetheless), and it's not scary. Dialog is both written and oral. If you have trouble getting through the really hard HOGs, like I do, this game is at least playable; you don't have to go in search of a walkthrough. Although the game is not my cup of tea, I can see how it could be attractive to other tastes, so it's worth a download if you like hidden object, just to see.
As with all the snark series, so much fun! This one wasn't even really so much about the "snark" or snark chasing really, but a new & independent story, which made it all the stronger. Some critics think that's bad, but I think its a plus- it means the basic elements of this series work quite well, even without the "snark" crutch. Unique and new is good! I didnt even skip that many of the mini games, and the hint button kept me going the right direction when I wasnt sure which direction to proceed in, (without giving away everything on the first click). The characters are fun, the play is fun, the dialog is funny, the graphics are lush and gorgeous, and it plays for a nice long time (though you find time goes quickly!) - how much better can you expect or ask for?
Any concern that this episode would not be a good as the last were soon put to rest. Love a game that allows you to figure out the puzzles without having to use the hints. Another good story line. I know some HOG gamers don't care for the to and froing between zones, but I find it part of the fun of this series. I love the graphics within the snarkbusters games - really addictive. Housework on hold!

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. The graphics were good. Storyline was a little chatty and for the most part, you couldn't skip them (one star deduction). Interesting and different mini games. A definite winner in the Snark Buster series. Wished it were a little longer.

Love this type of HO game! It was similar to the other Snark Busters games and I'm looking forward to the next one. Good job!!

I did play one of the other "Snark" games. That is what drew me to this one. Even though the "Snark" is not relevant in this game, the fun is there. I like a game that steers you in the right direction when you are lost in the room (hints charge quickly) and yet don't give me the answer. One of the other draws for me is the wheel hidden object concept. You fill all but one and the chase is on to find that missing object. While the script is not rocket science it is pure fun. Colorful and zany best describes this game for me. Enjoy!
I've enjoyed all of this series, and this latest game was no exception. The graphics were well drawn, and the scenes were rich. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was the confusing number of locations in and out of the mirrors--I got lost a lot. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
