This game showed promise but I finally just gave up and deleted it. There was way too much running around trying to find what you needed to proceed. Many times you had no idea what you were even looking for. Some of the extra games were a real pain-for example sweeping the broken glass. The real clincher was when it went to commercial after I had found the evidence in the ceiling (I was on the free version) and when it came back I was back to the beginning of the pub scene and I wasn't going to start all over with that one. Too bad- it had potential.
I rarely give a low rating but this game is not very good. You can't pick up objects until you get into the right area, then you have to go back to pick up the object that will open a door, etc. There is no reason to do the things you need to do in order to advance in this game.

I've seen a lot of comments from people who didn't care for the art, but I liked the different style and surreal atmosphere. It's legitimately creepy and surreal things crop up everywhere just to freak you out. Unfortunately, this is a bad game. The plot is predictable, the writing is poor, the voice acting is painful and plot holes abound. If you can get over that you won't be able to overlook the interface flaws. You can see items you need to pick up... but you can't because you haven't reached the scripted point in the game where the GAME thinks you need them. To make matters worse, while the style for the art is good the way the art was handled in the code is horrible. overly compressed jpegs, white halos around characters and excessive pixelation from too much zooming is just a dagger in the side of an already dead horse. This game isn't extremely fast paced, it's just that's the only way to put the slider as far from frustrating as possible. It's challenging because of the interface flaws, not because it's hard. It's thinky for the same reasons. without a walkthrough this game is virtually unplayable.
This game is macabre. I must admit I did find it interesting, but a very strange story. Definitely not for the young ones, way to depressing. I agree with some of the reviewers that it gets really frustrating going back and forth to places to find clues. For some reason, the game held my interest, the HO's were pretty good, the mini games pretty strange. I have played worse, and I have certainly played better.

This game reminds me of a Tim Burton movie. Its has a great story line that leaves your jaw dropped at the ending,I completed the game in 2 hours.I just wish it was longer!

In this case, however, the reviews were right. This game's main selling points were the uniquely dreamy, grungy images and a decent plot line. The rest of the game was rife with misspellings, bad grammar, and some surprisingly difficult HO scenes. There was no map, and you are unable to pick up objects you will need later that are in clear view because you haven't advanced to the scene where the game decides you can pick them up. Add in a tedious navigation system, and this game is neither particularly memorable or polished. This game isn't good for kids who are easily frightened by jumpy scenes- it's like a bad horror movie where they rely on loud noises and startling images to scare you.
Ok I personally really like the gory/bloody/scary graphics. Music and sound is pretty jumpy. The story is quite interesting, but predictable, by halfway I already realized who she is and generally what did and will happen. HO scenes are pretty well, but the amount is just a little too much. Task objects are not pickable until being told is frustrating. A lot of back and forth to find objects if you don't use hints. Pretty long play time, but about 1/2 used for going back and forth. Overall, if you are a easily frustrated or scared of jumpy ghosts, this game is not recommended for you.
spent an hour playing this game but need to click on hint almost every single minute, the game is so confusing and annoying.

I didn't know weather to give it 3 or 4 stars. I'd give it 3 and a half stars if they'd let me. I definitely think it is worth a lot more than one star some people gave it. It had good music, great sound effects, and a few good animations and such too. There was lots and lots of scenes. Although not a lot of items to find compared to the many scenes. The scenes were interesting, and gave it additional enjoyment to the game. The story plot was good too. Also at the beginning you could chose to play either casual or hard mode. The biggest improvements I see would be have as many objects to find as there is scenes, as well as at times I was confused when I was between the MANY SCENES I often didn't know where to go next. Luckily they were generous on hints and they charged up fast. I really needed them. Usually the hints would help me know where to go next, but sometimes the hints failed to help me and I almost got stuck a few times. Most of the time though I did OK and was able to move along. Over all a very good game, that could be even better with a few improvements.
This game was actually pretty fun I had fun playing.

I just didn't care for the way it was set up at all. I played 5 minutes and it was just annoying.

I really wanted to like this game. Love the graphics, but am growing frustrated playing the actual game. I hate that you can't pick up an object until you need it, even though IT'S SITTING RIGHT THERE. I don't like having to go back and forth trying to find an object in a previous scene. Some objects are hard to find and I'm currently stuck trying to figure out why the key I need isn't working in the door, even though the hint is telling me that's where it goes. I'm going to try and finish the game because I'd like to see how it ends.
I only played for an hour and was extremely frustrated. The story bits are too long, but I felt that I couldn't skip them because there was information in there. The heroine is hit on the head, her stuff is packed up from the apartment, the only people who talk to her are odd and make requests only to vanish... Can you say Sixth Sense? I would almost consider buying the durn thing just to see if I'm right and she's dead. ALMOST
This game was a good distraction. There were a couple of "jump out at you and startle you" moments. The ending was somewhat predictable but still a good game, not awesome, just good.

I knew it was going to be creepy but towards the middle, i started thinking "is all this necessary?" I enjoyed the first hour and really got into the game but after that (I have freepass) the game got clicky-boring. I agree with another reviewer about going to the different locations and how we were suppose to remember where a nail was?!? The storyline was good, but predictable (after playing soo many HO games). The graphics I thought was different and I liked that fact it was somewhat cartoony. I thought the mini-gamese were tedious. I ended up skipping most of the, seeing that they didn't challenge my mind. Overall, I thought this was a good game, wasted the day inside, escaping the heat and smoke. Don't let little ones play if they are sensitive to creepy visions!
I enjoy hidden object games that are challenging, but I'm not a mind reader..this game expects you to know what you're looking for, know where to find it and then know what to do with it. Too much for me.

This game looked really interesting. Once you start playing it be prepared to go from area to area looking for objects that are sometimes very difficult to see. It can get frustrating. I am going to purchase it because I want to see how it ends. Some of the scenes are just a mess of objects and you really have to look hard to find what you want. There are plenty of clues to help. I guess play it and see what you think. I have played a lot better games but this one is far from the worse.
I tried to like this one but in the end it just didn't come up to the standards of a lot more interesting HO games. You're charged with finding your daughter who's been taken from her daycare center by someone you don't know. I must admit that the only thing that kept me going in this was the storyline but even that ended up being a disappointment. It tried to follow some sort of order but it left a lot to be desired in terms of being coherent. The HO scenes are busy little junk piles of stuff which have very little to do with the story itself. The graphics within these scenes are not too bad but wading through all the junk becomes tedious. The graphics in the cut scenes (which can be skipped if so desired) are grainy at best. The worst are the dark and murky HO scenes where you might have to find some very dark items. Thank goodness for the hints which recharge fairly quickly in the easy or casual mode. There are items you just know you'll need but the game will not allow you to pick them up until you actually need them. I suggest you make a list of where these potential inventory items are when you come across them because it may be 2 or 3 chapters later when you'll need them. You already have to travel back and forth between locations so make it easy on yourself. This should eliminate some of the need to go back to places that you may only need to visit once instead of multiple times. The puzzles are the standard type found in most HO and adventure games and where not too much of a challenge. Some are straight forward and some are intuitive but there is a ? that can be clicked to give you some instruction on what is needed to solve them. Unless you've skipped some of the puzzles in the game and want to go back and try to solve them, I see no replay value in this one. I also would not purchase this game because it had no real value to me. Try it with a FunPass or play the hour demo. Perhaps you will find this more exciting than I did.
