A very engaging blend of HOG and Puzzles. Not one of the games that you finish in one sitting. The graphics were great and the puzzles were challanging. The option for hints, and the ability to skip a puzzle if you just can't figure it out, are a plus. I am really happy about the lack of a timer, so there is no time pressure, and you can spend as long as you want in each scene. An overall excellent value, but some parts (building bombs and putting drugs in drinks) may be a little over the top for very young kids.

"Hen Hao" means "very good" in Chinese - and this game is that and more! Excellent graphics with real Chinese characters like "Long Lun" - Dragon Wheel, suspensful music, and a most original screenplay/plot! There's no tutorial, but it's quite intuitive and you can get hints. The HOs are kewl and get progressively hidden in clever backgrounds. The puzzles are rather easy - at first; however, soon you will find them challenging. The "glitters" show you where some clues or hints might be found. Hint: Be ready to backtrack to previous screens after locating an object needed earlier to accomplish a task - you can skip the puzzles, or even entire scenes if you get stumped. Best of all, there is the teaser of a sequel to follow! I thoroughly enjoyed this HOG with all it's puzzles, and perks! "Xie Xie!" (Thanks, Gamehouse) and "Zai Jian" - Goodbye!

As HO games go this one was okay. I didn't think the graphics were that great and did have some trouble locating items in some of the grainier scenes. The puzzles were very good and ranged from easy to challenging which made a nice mixture. Objects needed to solve puzzles or problems are found over many locations so there is a lot of travelling back and forth. When special objects are found they go into your inventory but not before having to click on them at the end of each HO scene. It seemed rather redundant to me. Why not have them go directly into your inventory. I also found that this one was very slow on my PC. The spoken dialogue was always ahead of the dialogue box at the bottom and it was very slow when presenting the special items and when changing from scene to scene. Even with these little annoyances it was still a good game and worth taking a look at.

This was a very interesting game as it had not only hidden objects but different puzzles that I had to solve. It kept me interested from beginning to end and I am certain I will play it again soon.

I really enjoyed the story and it had great graphics. It was a little long, with having to go back and forth - back and forth, but overall it was good. The voice cut out on me a few times, but I got the gist of it! Recommend if you are looking for a small challenge!

Beautiful graphics! Certaintly not your average hidden object game. Game requires significantly more thought than most of the HOG games. Game relies on puzzles and challanges to keep you involved rather than requiring you to find a large quantity of items. Hints are abundant, and if you have to click around to find something the game does not penalize you or lock up. I found the game very hard to put away, which in my mind is the basis for a greatgame. I recomment that you try this game, I think you will also find it hard not to play through completion. Have Fun!!!!!!!!

This is a pretty fun game that involves thinking and clicking. The puzzles are not to hard to solve and the game has a pretty interesting story line.

Love this game! Interesting story line...drama and laughs...the puzzles lead you to do things that are odd and funny. The only issue I had was figuring out some of the moves. The hint button isn't much help at all. Definitely will play this one again in challenging mode.

This game was fun and exciting to play. I couldn't stop. Diaglouge was easy to follow but you needed to listen. This game makes you think but hints and mini-game skips are available. I would recommend this game to everyone.

i really enjoyed most aspects of this game-it was very creepy-especially Mr. Chang-when i saw him for the 1st time, i actually cringed-his physical appearance and his voice combined to make him...well...CREEPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did get stuck several times, but the hints gave me enuf info to keep moving. there was a lot of dialogue, but i found listening to it enhanced the story. and i could keep on exploring/finding items while they were talking. i must admit the story seemed very unrealistic-where was the fear/mourning in Epiphany when she saw her old professor die, or the fear when she was being confronted by scary people? but as i've said in previous reviews, the story is not the reason i like/dislike a game-the game play is most important to me. all in all-a good game.

this is the WORST game i have ever played!! talk about boring and complicated

Here you join Ms O'Day in finding her friend's murderer and stop the bad guys from coming into power. The game has lots of hidden objects, some hidden cleverly, making you use the hint system once in a while. The hints do charge up rapidly, so there's no waiting too long. There are also puzzles to solve. Most are relatively easy to solve, but some are challenging on what needs to be accomplished. The hints do help a little. There is also a journal that helps you figure out where to go next. Most of the action takes place on the train, where you follow the murderer and find out the nasty plot. Don't forget to pick up the bonus artifacts along the way! The game plays smoothly, going from scene to scene to complete a task or find HO's. The cut scenes you can skip, however, it is relevant to the storyline. Nice graphics and sounds. I would recommend this game. Not too difficult, not too easy, and it does play for several hours. Lot's of things to do. Looks like there will be a sequel (yipee!) I must warn you ..... Cixi is the UGLIEST woman (if you can call her that) I've ever seen in my life! Good job overall!!

I enjoyed this game very much. Original story and beautiful artwork. Puzzles were challenging without being frustrating and added to story.

The story line was good and the projects to complete were not too frustrating and pretty fun. The hidden object portion, however, left a bit to be desired. The graphics were kind of lousy and I found myself just clicking things for the heck of it and not wanting to really find them, read: little enthusiasm for this part.

Wow! I was hooked and addicted to this game right from the get go. Also yet another "follow the story" type game for me which I usually don't because most I've come across are boring; this however is far from boring in my opinion especially since this is a murder/thriller type of a game. I also LOVED how most, not all but most of this took place on a train. Oh and the characters/graphics - JUST WOW! The gameplay here is like many games where you are finding items and some are used in other scenes of the game to unlock them. Also backtracking in this game as well as you will have to go back to locations you've visited for the inventory items to be used. You may, however, I did not get through this game quick as it took me several hours. I just could NOT stop playing this until I got to the end. I found this game to range from easy to very challenging and thinky at times as to what to do and where to go next. As for the hidden object part of the game, found most pretty easy to locate, some very well hidden. The puzzles I also found to be the same - easy to challenging and so glad I could skip them which was only a couple. Thanks Gamehouse for yet another great game and I see there is going to be a part 2 to this. Please don't make me wait too long! This ROCKS! : )

Great game and story -- a good mix of hidden object and puzzles. Can play at your own pace since there is no time limit, but the puzzles can be quite challenging at times. Just keep clicking and looking and try everything -- you'll get it!

Had a lot of fun playing this. Not difficult enough to be frustrating, but not easy either. The graphics are great, most of the puzzles aren't difficult, but they're so beautifully rendered it's still enjoyable to do them. The hidden objects part of the game is great fun, pretty to look at, just difficult enough to be entertaining. Definitely worth the price I paid for it! Looking forward to playing it again and again.

A really excellent hidden object game!! It was very fun, interesting and entertaining. And what I loved most about it, is that it wasn't JUST a HOG, but it had puzzles in it too. There was a lot of moving from room to room, which is very cool too. It's also pretty long, so there is a lot of game time!! Totally recommend this game!!!
