Do not like this game, majority is playing against evil character. Only every so often so you get to play straight match 3

This game caught me by surprise. Granted, it's not for the faint of heart as the learning curve in the beginning might be a bit steep, but after just a few levels it's easy to get addicted to it, and from there you'll not want to stop playing. Just as you'd get bored of already introduced features, there's always something new. First you get to upgrade your sorceress, then you can cast a healing spell... finding out what comes next is what makes this game very addictive and fun. I really like that unlike in most matching games, what you choose to do next actually matters. After a while, there's some strategy to these fights, and that's what makes this game truly stand out from the crowd of match3 games out there. Try before you buy as it's one of those games where you'll either really love it or really hate it. It's definitely not for everyone, but I, for one, can't help but recommend it without reservations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trial of this game. Graphics were clear, tiles were the perfect size and movement was smooth. There wasn't much of a tutorial, but I found the game to be quite intuitive and easy to figure out what to do. Basically, you travel around the map, battling enemies. Certain matches allow you to attack, other matches allow you to build up a shield, your health level, collect diamonds to upgrade your abilities. Other features comes into play as the game progresses. There's no timer, except for special levels to open a treasure chest. I was hooked and purchased when the trial finished, but then I am a fan of battle M3s!

This is my favorite type of match-3 game... where you get to battle against an opponent. I've played a lot of games in this sub-genre and this one is the most simple. I found it to be too easy but it's not a bad game by any means. Instructions are sparse but it shouldn't take you long to figure it out. You take turns fighting against an opponent. As the game continues, it gets more complex and new items are introduced. For example, after you've won a handful of matches you will be allowed to collect mana in order to cast a spell. In this game those type of actions (casting spells) occur automatically once you've collected enough of the material needed. That's why it's perfect for kids and beginners. The graphics are nice and the board is eye pleasing, at least to me. The biggest negative is that it's too simple. You earn diamonds which you can use to upgrade your two attack skills or your health. I found that I was soon way overpowered and defeating opponents quickly. As the game progressed, the opponents did get tougher but I only died once. Games started lasting way too long as I went back and forth against my opponent. This game would have greatly benefited from having more options and upgrades, more complex spells, etc. I mean Mean Girls, which is a similar format but a poorly reviewed game, did a better job of setting up a more challenging battle match. I think kids will enjoy this game and adults may find it either relaxing or boring. I think I will play it occasionally through the Fun Pass but it's not a game I would buy.

This is a match 3 turn based battle game, I like those, but there is not much strategy involved in this one (there is some). I definitely would have given it 4 stars if it had gotten somewhat more difficult and strategic and it wasn't so short. I finished it in about an hour and a half, but I did have fun. So I can only recommend it for funpass players, I would not buy this game.

It is a real chore to try to figure out how to play this game. It seems to be programmer controlled. Far to fast to understand the cause and affects of both sides. It is not fun.

Game has potential, only problem is, you can finish it in a couple of hours. No real depth, not a lot of explanation or plan involved, agree with other reviewer, not worth the time.
