This is the first time I've downloaded this type of match 3 game and, I have to say, I'm hooked!

I almost bought this game without trying it because I loved the first one so much but I'm so glad I waited. I played the entire hour and am now uninstalling it (I actually have 7 min. left). This game has a few similarities to the original, but that's where it ends. First off, there is WAY too much dialogue to have to deal with, it totally wastes time and gets boring and you can't skip it. the person has to do the same thing every single time, like walk to a destination, talk to someone, click the answer, several times, then walk to another place, fight a battle, walk back for confirmation..this all takes sooo long that I lost interest right away when I realized it wasn't a tutorial, it was the game. Forget it! the first game moved fast, you could quickly buy new things, get on with the fun battle. The developers must have thought the fun part was walking and choosing whether to fight or flee..ho hum. I am disappointed, it looked like it was going to be better then the first, but proves that sometimes "less is more". The game is so big that it even got jerky at times and slowed it down, that is really frustrating with a battle going on. A no buy for me...sorry.

This game is very addictive and challenging. It has mini-puzzles that also give you a choice of how to solve them. This games seems never ending and is never boring. You must choose your weapons wisely. This is a strategy and solving game that I really enjoy. Thank you.

This is truly one of the best casual games on the market. It has elements from the Role-playing game, match 3, and adventure genres. I like that you can choose different levels of difficulty (easy, normal, etc.) so that you have the right challenge to match your mood or your skills. However my favorite part of the game is that there are so many rooms to explore that it's fun to go from place to place just to see what's there. The one downside to this game is that there is so much to do in this game but it's so addictive and fun to play that it takes away from life. I mean there should be an extra 12 hours added to a week so you'd have time to play this game and partake of the other activities of life like working, volunteering, eating and socializing, too. But that's not the game's fault--life's just too darn short!

I myself find this game too hard to get anywhere, all your doing is fighting Demons, not Match 3 as much as it claimed

Game is very addictive, but not without it's flaws. While you can change the quest you're on, once you've selected a quest it's very linear and won't let you exdplore at random.

this game had me more than challenged. i was overwhelmed. there is so much to think about. u have to be extremely strategic and be able to think several steps ahead to defeat the enemies. i must say the graphics are great. the monsters all very creepy. maybe if i played longer, i'd be better able to use my spells and such to defeat the monsters. i just found myself ready to get out. just too much for me.

Really enjoying this game that I bought yesterday. Planned on playing for approximately 1/2 hour this morning to test it out. Here it is 4 hours later and I'm just now stopping! This is one cool game - very, very addictive gameplay. It is an RPG mixed with match 3 & adventure gameplay. Every single thing you do in this game is based on your match 3 performance. You fight battles, play bonus games for resources & coins, bash down doors, put out fires, etc. all through your match 3 gameplay. You level up with experience points while playing and get buy upgraded weapons and armor. The game comes in multiple formats - you can play tournaments, quick battles, quest mode (what I chose), or mini games only. There are dungeons to explore and quests to solve - some optional, some mandatory but it's all fun. Some of the opponents can be pretty tricky. One thing that annoyed me was a hint arrow that is on by default - luckily you can turn it off OR adjust how soon it appears - I found it to be more distracting than anything else as you must strategically make every move on the match 3 board. Excellent game - I have not played anything this addicting and of such high quality & of value gameplay wise in a while. This one will keep you going for ages and has fantastic playability due to different starting characters (who have different spells/weapons/traits to use during the battles). 5 Star Game (*) (*) (*) (*) (*)

I've been playing this game for a while, and this is truly an epic Match-3 & RPG game. You can choose your hero from four different classes. For that alone, it has a plenty of replay value. This is not an ordinary Match-3 game which often make you rush against the clock. On the contrary, in Puzzle Quest, you have to think hard before each move as you do in chess. The great thing is that it's not 'game-over' even if you're defeated, so you can refresh your strategy and challenge the same foe again. As you progress, you gain experience points which will give you more powerful skills & magic, and with gold & items you can buy or upgrade weapons and armours, so it has a lot of RPG elements to it. It takes a while to learn the mechanism of the game, so I recommend opening all menu options when you first start the game so you can familiarize which functions are available. Overall, this is definitely worth purchasing as there are plenty of main/side quests, and each battle is challenging & fun with amazing graphics!

This game is the BEST! Can't wait to see which new enemy (creature) I will have to battle next. Incorporation with spells, magic, weapons, armors, all done over jewel boards is fantastic idea. Tons of quests, per each different character you can decide to be. Whichever one you choose is more detailed, larger and more realistic than other quest and virtual characters. Great art work. And...the jewel boards are NOT as easy as they look. Each battle jewel board can take 30 minutes or longer to win...or lose, especially in the higher levels. I can't leave this game alone!!

I love this game! Stayed up WAY too late the first night I had it without even realizing how long I'd been playing. I do agree with another reviewer that said the pace was slower than the original game was, but I really enjoyed this anyway. The graphics are beautiful, and I love some of the things the various characters that you interact with say. Basically a match 3 game with a bit of RPG thrown in.

Not enough information on how to play the game but as you play you learn how to use the mana to your advantage, and sometimes you still lose the round.I love a challenge and if you love a challenge this is the game for you. This is really a great match 3 game and it has a lot of levels so you defintely get your moneys worth.Try it ,you just might like it.

I loved Puzzle Quest and was looking forward to this sequel. It's better than the addictive original!

I am addicted to this game! I'm getting too little sleep because I'm up entirely too late playing it. I like the fact that even when I lose a round, I don't have to worry about dying and starting all over again. I also like that the match three games aren't timed so I can take as long as I need to make a move. I wouldn't exactly call this kid friendly since some of the demons are scary looking. And yes, there are zombies. It does get harder to win on the higher levels but if you upgrade your character as often as possible and wait until you have more life points and weapons and spells that can do some considerable damage to your opponent, it is possible win - difficult but possible. And take all the side quests you get offered. More money means more upgrades. Even though I have a monthly subscription so I can play this as long as I like, I will be buying this one. I doubt I'll get bored with it any time soon. I wish I could it more than 5 stars.

Best match 3 game ever , The dungeons and combat are a real treat for D&D lovers. Characters are more difficult at higher levels.

I like it something a little more involved. Excuse me I should be able to write as little or as much as I want.

This game is wonderful! If you are a RPGER of any kind you will love this. The person/company who created this game had to be a Games master!

Great game. I can not wait to get home from work to play again. Could only play for a short time before bed and had a hard time falling asleep as I kept planning strategy. Graphics are beautiful. I am going to enjoy playing the rest of this game.
