This is a great game, lots to see and do and challenging. In this game you are even able to drive a car & get a small job delivering telegraphs, all while trying to solve your very FIRST mystery! FUN!

I played the free trial of this game and I liked it very much. I think this is the best game I have ever played. Everything is wonderful, the environment, people, music, the situation. It is worse to play!

I only have three of the Nancy Drew games so far but intend to buy more. If you like to think and do something besides looking for hidden objects get the action Nancy Drew games, lots of puzzles to solve, I will agree with one of the other reviews in that the Zippy gas station was annoying, and ran about a half a tank of gas trying to figure out how to get out of the car, lol (use the spacebar). Overall a very fun game, would highly recommend!

Nancy is invited by a friend to visit at her inherited Inn from her recently deceased mother. Upon arrival, Nancy finds strange things continue to happen, as usual :). Believing that a passed-away old man who promised her friend's family good fortune after his death must have hidden his real will somewhere (since his found will suspiciously left his house to his new acquaintance), Nancy set out to find it. Nice graphics, good plot, many twists, and average amount of play time. It's not too short, but not long either. The puzzles are various and intriguing. The gameplay is not very well explained or hinted. I spent some time driving around before realizing that I need to hit spacebar to park the car. Same goes for some tasks and puzzles, but the journal and task list is pretty useful. You can earn money for gas and necessary spending for game progress by delivering telegrams. This way you will get to know the town more since many places are not listed on the map. I agree with previous reviews about the Zippy Gas's slogan. It's just so annoying and I'm still hearing zippy zapped inside my head XD. I really like the puzzles and tasks, many are really brilliant and eye-catching. That old man's mind is supreme, and people say elders are senile :P. I really like the Midsummer Night's Dream puzzles near the end, since it's my most favorite Shakespeare's play and the puzzles are actually complex and interesting. Overall, this is one of the best of Nancy Drew games. If you like Nancy Drew games, this is highly recommended. If you're not familiar with it, but like mystery, puzzles, and have patience, give it a try.

I love Nancy Drew games. This game got me thinking and I learned things too! Like logical thinking, stratigizing, and Morse code!

This game has to be one of the most original ones in the Nancy Drew series! The fact that the time setting is SO different makes the puzzles and tasks even more enjoyable.

This was my second Nancy Drew game. The graphics are nice and clear. It went a little faster than the other game but still took a few days. My only complaint is it's almost impossible to figure out what to do next without referring to the walkthrough. However, I'd still recommend this game, maybe I just don't have the patience to really think it through and rely too much on the walkthroughs!

This is the first Nancy Drew game I've tried. The biggest drawback that I have with this game is you can't skip the story lines - they must play through. All of them. Every time. Otherwise, I find it challenging and there are a good mix of easier puzzles such as matching to go with the more difficult puzzles like the mini golf. The mini golf has it's own "grrr" rating for me in that the screen has borders that don't allow you to hit the ball hard enough on all starting points. The borders sometimes only allow you to tap it. The game graphics are clean and easily seen, unlike some that have blurred or dark points that hide a lot of the game area. I do wish the volume controls allowed you to disable, rather than just minimize the sounds and music, though.

I really liked this one, once I got into it. A lot of thought went into this game. Very nice graphics and full of surprises. Cool mini games to play too including a miniature golf course which is a fun challenge. The parlor game Bard Bounce will get you thinking as will most of the challenging puzzles that are incorporated into the game. Well worth the price of the game. My hats off to the designers of this one. Put on your thinking caps and pay attention to whats being said and what you see. It took me about 12 hours over 4 days to beat it The only downfall to the game is the annoying Zippy gas station slogan that you hear whenever you pull into the station to buy gas for Nancy's car, or to fix a flat tire. Even Nancy is annoyed with She even admits it in the game. Other than that, the game is great!
