This is one of the more simplistic ND games, but enjoyable nonetheless. I was able to complete this one without help from a walk-through, which is nice. Worth the money!

In this game, Nancy corporates with GdIF (Italian-version FBI) to finds a mysterious art thief. Actually, she is pushed on them by Prudence Rutherford (Nancy helped retrieved her necklace in the Scarlet Hand). Wow, talk about connections. Anyway, the storyline is excellent with many twists that will keep you guessing. I also love the extra activities you can do. You can purchase costumes to wear, and you can earn money by selling flowers or dancing in a club in a cat costume (somehow this sounds so weird in words). To collect flowers, you have to fight the bees, though I won't tell you how. In dancing, you will receive sound cue as to what to dance. The hardest to listen to is the bell and the harmonica, because they tend to blend into the music. However, if you get the crowd excited to certain levels, you will receive certain amount of tips, and to me it's easier and more fun than fighting bees. Notice that each song has a particular pattern. There is a card game called Scopa introduced later in the game. I find it pretty hard but interesting. Italy has 3 types of transportation: by foot, by train, or by the famous canals. All are free except for the canals. If you choose free canal service (Luigi), there's nothing interesting. But, if you choose others, it will cost various prices but give different songs (though I think the scenery is kinda repeated). To move around, you have to click on the next location connected to where you are standing. You can't click straight to the destination you want. It may seems annoying but it plays a role in the end. The puzzles are not very hard, just that they need some patience to look around. If you do something fatally wrong, there's second chance or just save the game before attempting something. Most of the time, you can get hints by calling Ned. Oh, and do call Prudence again, her accent and silliness are unrivaled. I laugh when she comments about the Caller ID. Near the end, I pretty much figured out who is the prime suspect, but still it is pleasant to know how that one does it. Just one thing that puzzles me, that thief is loaded with several valuable arts, but still decide to steal Nancy's locket (just ordinary gift from Ned). I wonder why, out of jealousy? In summary, this game is fascinating. It makes me unable to move away from my chair. I think it worths buying for fan of Nancy Drew games as well as mystery lovers.

This was the first nancy drew game i have ever played. But after playing at least 10 of the others i came to the conclusion that this was the best of the nancy drew series. It is a long storyplay mystery solving game with plenty of puzzles inbetween. I had to take note of a few things on paper though to be able to complete the game. And the ending is just superb :D

I liked this game for the various different puzzles that form a part of the overall mystery. The only drawback is having to wait for the 'conversations' to finish when you can read the text more quickly - this means you have to wait a little while to go to the next step. Otherwise, quite enjoyable and relaxing to play.

I really enjoyed this Nancy Drew game. The graphics were beautiful, the mystery kept me guessing 'till the end, and I learned how to play a card game called Scopa (I even taught it to my friends). Overall, I found this Nancy Drew adventure really fun, fast paced and exciting. A great buy for sure!

Take the time and enjoy from beginning to end! Be sure to also read the credits at the game's end for added laughs. A rich variety of puzzles and clues mixed with great humor! Nancy visits Venice, Italy undercover to help recover valuable art works stolen by a masked Phantom. Nancy can also buy and wear carnival costumes, ride gondolas with gondoliers singing Italian opera. A very mysterious man also teaches Nancy the card game Scopa. Definitely FIVE STARS for Her Interactive Game's creativity, graphics and story line. Bravo! Onward to another Nancy Drew mystery! Ciao!

This game is in my Top 5, and I have played all 29 games! The challenges are hard, but fun and it is one of the most original Nancy Drew games out of all of them. Definitely worth your money.

Really love Nancy Drew however very disappointed in this game. Very hard to navigate around and found most of the dialogue very unnecessary and boring plus it took about a half hour just to down load and I have a new computer (only about a week old). Thank goodness for trial versions.

The graphics were very impressive. At times the game got slow and a bit annoying, especially when it came to the scopa game. However, the rest of the game went rather well. Overall a good purchase and a game that will be played again and again

It's the basic Nancy Drew game with all the mystery and puzzles, in Venice. If you're a fan of the Nancy Drew series you won't be disappointed. The conversations may be lengthy to some but it's part of the mystery solving and if you're really into Nancy Drew you just love them. I also really like the exploration and spending time on solving the different puzzles and playing this episode's Scopa game. Kudos Her Interactive
