Okay clearly this is a younger version of the Nancy Drew games, as it's not trying to frighten players. It's brightly coloured and humorous, with weird minigames that I totally found addictive. I'm not looking to my games to put me on edge, I want the mystery without the cheap attempts at frights and this delivers. I really do recommend it.

Fantastic game! Full of challenges. Yes there are things to find but it's never boring. Everything you find interacts with something else to take you deeper into the investigation. You gotta play it!

Nancy is hired to find out the mad bomber who's targeting the Redondo Resort & Spa for some reasons. She will work under the disguise of a general assistant, but actually has to do the chores as well XP. This one is unlike any other Nancy Drew games in gameplay. It is kind of a bit easier, my guess is that it targets younger players. Instead of 3-D, it is in 2-D, the graphics is good, but rather comical. You move from scene to scene, pairing objects with their tasks. They are like mini puzzles and also requires some thinking, but not very hard or challenging, since the hints provided are pretty clear. The puzzles of defusing bomb are the hardest ones. They are the connect-the-pipes type where you have to connect one end to another. They increase in difficulty as you progress through the game, but they don't change at all if you replay the game. After 2 replays, I remember most of them. The puzzle of manning the phone is also challenging since you have to be quick in connecting lines to the right directory and can only miss 5/20 calls. There is also a new thing introduced in this game. There are 6 suspects, and depending on whoever you choose as the prime suspect, you will get a different ending. I played 3 times for 3 endings and watched the rest on Youtube :D. Also, if you earned enough points by doing the tasks, answering right questions, and being quick in timed tasks (such as defusing bombs), you can unlock a special credit. I love it! It involves Mr. Mingles and he is absolutely adorable ^-^. He's my prime suspect, guilty for being cute haha. Overall, this game is enjoyable. I like it, but I'm more of the old-style Nancy Drew games. This one is somehow too comical and bright for me. It didn't give me any suspenseful feeling, and having Mr. Mingles running around like that is just plain funny :). Nonetheless, it is a great game, you should try it out.

This is more than just a HOG it's more of an adventure/puzzle game. Since you search around each location looking for clues by moving your cursor until something sprakles. Than you need to find the item it goes to, until you complete the task. You have a journal to refer back to when ever you need to. You can not skip the movie clips but they have info that you can use for the following location. The graphics and voice overs are great and make it nice for any age player. The mini games can not be skipped which make the game seem longer at times. You will need to connect the two ends of the bomb, catch rats, find the dog in the maze and bring guests to rest spots. These are action or arcade like. But you also have to match tiles to form letters, than unscramble them to make a word which will be a clue to next location. After you have beat the mini game you can go back and play from main menu anytime. Of corse like any good ND game you need to figure out 'who dun it'.

I just finished playing the free trial version and I think it's a really great game as some parts of the game really make you think. I found myself being very addicted to the game to hurry up and find things and solve puzzles. The only thing I didn't like about the game is a little too much dialogue but still a 5 star game and that won't keep me from buying the full version of the game. Keep the Nancy Drew games coming. Just cut down on the dialogue a bit.

A different pace than the usual Nancy Drew Mystery--not complicated or complex. Lots of fun geared for the younger people. Nancy Drew is treated more like an employee and given various jobs. Of course, Nancy is a versatile super sleuth and never minds completing a request to help her solve a mystery.

When I first downloaded this game from RealArcade, it was on my older computer. Unfortunately for me, my computer had memory problems and I kept getting stuck in the same spot. Out of frustration, I went and bought a NEW computer, just so I could see what happened at the end of this game. Pathetic, eh? Or am I just dedicated to my games? I'll take the second option ..... This is my favorite Nancy Drew to date. Everything about it was great. The storyline, graphics, playability, and even the character voices. It made you think about what object went where to solve puzzles so you could get to the next challenge. If you haven't tried any of the Nancy Drew games, this is the one you should start with. It's a blast!

This is a really good engaging game, that is a bit like a goldilocks bowl of porridge (just right) in all aspects, except one 'the hedge puzzle' I won't spoil it too much but in the game there is a hedge puzzle, which is not only (IMHO), tedious, it is confusing and frustrating. Apart from that though this is the first Nancy Drew puzzle I have played and will be playing the rest, as it was a good mix of cleverly crafted mini-games, good story line and well executed HO (though some towards the end are 'time challenged' and can be a bit tricky (especially the crows'). Good game took me around 5 hours to complete

I really like this kind of Nancy Drew better than the others, I get stuck on the other kind and can't finish them. Cute story line and wonderful people.

This is the first Nancy Drew game that I was able to complete. So not getting stuck going around in circles (except in the "maze" and even that was fun!) was a huge plus. The story line, games and "hunts" were great, and the character voices were a hoot. The time bomb defusing will put you on a speed test. Here's hoping that the next one will also be "doable".

Another fantastic thinking game from Nancy. Match the hidden objects to make things work throughout the scene, solve the mini puzzles and work out what Nancy is to say next in the dialogue sequences. You won't get bored. Buy buy buy.
