It would have been a great experience. The story, the setting, even the minigames are interesting. I like the fact that the clues are not always just text lists...sometimes it's sounds, or sets of clues pointing to 1 object. BUT...my copy has a bug and I cannot go pass bunker (which early in the game)...nor can I save my progress at any point. I wish there is a button save...there are a bunch of other buttons with the note that said click any and progress will be saved automatically...NOT. After replaying 4 times and got stuck at the same level...I can only give 3 stars instead of 5.
I must say I think this is a fun game for kids and adults. Not the usual hidden object game in my opinion. This offers so much more as you find items in different ways: the regular list of items, images of the item, there's also music notes you click on to find the item by "sound" and also riddles. There's also mini games and you can play this in a relaxed mode or timed mode. The time mode in my opinion isn't difficult as I feel plenty of hints are provided. Definitely worth purchasing. I give it 5 stars.
I played this game once before in relaxed mode and thought it was a little boring. But this time I played it in timed mode, and it made quite a difference to my playing experience. I felt forced to concentrate and find items as quickly as possible. And it's hard to get bored when there are so many different styles of HO play, from riddles, to shapes, to sounds. I enjoyed this game much more the second time around and recommend it in timed mode to any HOG enthusiasts.
Great Game! Has your basic hidden objects, but so many varieties. There is a riddle kind of search, a search by only having the sound of the object as your clue, find x-amount of a certain item, one has a 200 sec time limit to find the clues which come up one at a time. Lots and lots of mini games, and a good variety. Most of the mini games are relatively easy and should be easy enough for kids. You will not get bored by this game, and it's length is really nice. My only problem is how abruptly the game ends.
This game is a very simple hidden picture game with an o.k. story - a good one for kids and beginners. You spend your time traveling back and forth between 20 locations, with is how they get 74 regular levels in this game. Once these levels are completed, 20 additional 'free play' levels open - you go to each location and locate the whole items list for each scene. While hints are earned by finding the 'bears' in most scenes, you may not need them often at all. The mini-games are self-explanatory and were completed quickly enough. The 'hardest' one's involved 'listen to the sound' - you listen to sounds and click on item that would make it. Overall, it was a slow-paced and somewhat relaxing play - if you don't mind 'traveling' back and forth to the same scenes multiple times.
