What a great game - I love the games that have a wide range of places to go and look for things. This one just kept going and going - so much fun and great puzzles along the way - some very orginal and different. The graphics were outstanding. Please more games like this - it took some time for me to get through this one and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I thought this game was awesome! Beautiful graphics, challenging (but not too challenging), and it was long! 4hours of play time, and normally games take me about an hour. I will definitely replay this one!

This game keeps my attention throughly. One thing I would recommend is being able to face the direction I am going. That is such a small point on such an excellent game. The hidden object puzzles scattered throughout the game are neither so simple as to not be a challenge or so complicated, one uses up all their hints on the first one. Loved it and can't wait to get back to playing some more.

Wow! Phantom of the Opera is one of my personal favorite themes, and this game did not disappoint. The graphics were fantastic. You never knew when the Phantom was watching you! A little bit scary, for a chicken like me, but for Phantom, it was worth it. It is a dark storyline, so not for young children, but that's not a surprise, right? The gameplay is very challenging. Many HO screens and mini-games. I liked that you could see the shape of an item you were searching for if you needed a little help. The hint button recharged slowly, but I was glad to find that it would give you a hint on plot (where to go) and not just HO. My daughter played the game and didn't like to use the hint because it "broke the glass," ha ha. Be forewarned, there is a LOT of going back and forth in this game. After awhile you have a good sense of where you are at in the opera house, but you will find yourself running from end to end and back. This is a very thinky game--you have to pay close attention to games you need pieces/parts to complete so you can go back later. The plot was interesting both to Phantom fans and for those who may not know the story. That said, the ending was extremely disappointing. Are they trying to set up a sequel? I felt "let down" that I'd worked so hard just to be brushed aside that way. Still, I will probably play it through again, which I rarely do with any game. It is just that good.
This game is beautifully rendered and a lot of fun playing! It's a nice balance between HOG and adventure play, probably more on the adventure side. It wasn't overly easy or impossible to play--just right for me and probably a good 5-6 hours of play. I tend to take my time on these so they'll last longer! I agree that the ending was disappointing, but usually in games like this they leave the endings open for sequels. To the poster about the missing extra level - that is only available if you buy the CE edition. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone fond of the HOG/Adventure genre. It's definitely one of the better of its kind around.
Game Style: Emphasis on point n click mystery. Both p & c and HO are more difficult than most. Thankfully, the other puzzles are less difficult whilst still being both challenging and original. Artwork: Top of the range graphics, good use of audio and animations to create atmosphere. Story: Variation on a familiar story, it unfolds in well-paced bite-sized chunks. Hint Feature: Slow but useful if you use in conjunction with objectives. Replay: You'll want to play again immediately. The HO and mini-games have random generation, there's a time score AND accuracy score, plus a bonus section that can only be accessed by a good time score. Flaws: Not a game for the faint hearted. It's a complex puzzle from the word go, which might deter some. But worth the effort of continuing Tips: Use your hints wisely!!!
Beautiful graphics! One of the best HOG's I've played. Takes quite awhile to get through the game and some of the puzzles are difficult but you eventually get a "skip" option. Hope the creators do more games like this one! Would not recommend for kids.

Awesome graphics - very polished. Gripping storyline. Challenging puzzles. Only let down by the very open ending. I love this Mystery Legends series of games and I sincerely hope that I can add that final star when the next game comes out. Overall, well done to the producers :)

Out of all the hidden games I've played; Phantom was the most complex and challenging. Amazing graphics that were realistic in appearance rather than "cartoonish." Loved this game! Can't wait for another like it!

This game took me about a grand total of three hours to play. It has beautiful graphics and a very interesting plot line. My only complaint besides a horrible cliffhanger ending, is that you had to go all over the place going to different sections of the opera house

I really loved how I had to retrace my steps to find more clues. I loved how the game progressed. I was totally enthralled. The only thing that sucked is the ending; it was nothing like I thought it would be. Now I am anxiously awaiting the sequel and champing at the bit.

I have been playing games for years and this is by far the best one I have every played. I have now been through it four times, each time there is something different, items are in different places, so it is still exciting. It is hard to stop playing!

I've always had a fascination for the Phantom story and as soon as I saw it was a Mystery Legends game had to download straight away. Their games have always been interesting and fun to do. The mini-games were a good variety of challenges but not impossible to do with the available hint option. Despite having used the help, it still was over 5 hours of gameplay and very addictive as one has to see where the story would lead. The well thought-out and engaging storyline made it seem like it wasn't that long which is always refreshing to have in HOG games. I was a bit disappointed in the ending though as it did not allow for entry into the bonus areas. I believe it's for a Premium edition but alas, Gamehouse does not have it quite yet available that I could see. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed and will likely do it over without using hints to see if I can beat my time.
This game is absolutely phenomenal. The art, the atmosphere, the voices, the HO scenes, the puzzles, it's all wonderful. It isn't perfect, the devs seem to have decided to drag your playtime out somewhere around two thirds of the way through the game with clues to items that you have to fetch being all the way across the map. It's ok for the first two items or so because there are usually HO scenes you've missed along the way. By the fifth run through the theater it's just annoying. But it's really a minor quibble. This game isn't gory, but it is terrifying when you stop to think about what's happening to this girl. And she really isn't nearly terrified enough of her fate. If you need a happy ending, stay away because there isn't one here. If you can handle a bad one, enjoy the fabulous ride.
I really enjoyed playing this game. There was logic to the puzzles and I liked that it kept a list of objectives for me in case I forgot what I was trying to do. I also liked the map, although I wish it not only showed where incomplete puzzles/actions were, but also where the new HOG's had popped up. Without that, I did do a lot of wandering around looking for another area to search for needed items. There was more back and forth movement necessary than I like, enough to make me give a less than perfect rating. I found all of the puzzles doable, some more complex than others, and only one that was a repeat. There was a skip option after a certain amount of time passed. Hints were available and I used them occasionally. They do not refill very rapidly. I completed the game in about 4 hours, but expected there to be more as the map showed "Bonus Levels" in the caverns. This area was never opened up to me, though.
