Reviews of Mini Robot Wars

I've been waiting to review this game until I had finished playing it all, but I seem to be stuck on the very final "meeting".lol I'll whip those invaders yet, but in the meantime... Very like Plants vs Zombies in that the characters are cute & original looking & each has a different "talent" being brought to the fight, on both sides. You absolutely must stop to consider the abilities needed to defeat the various abilities of the enemy. Game play itself, is steady UNTIL you get to a major attack spot & then you better be ready!! I agree with a previous reviewer in that once you get to the point of having them all, one standard set-up for each geographic terrain pretty much does it....BUT.... when you get to those mini-games all bets are off!! It's all timing & recognizing what's gonna come atcha !! Be prepared!!! It's fun, during replaying, to try different combinations & to see how FEW mini 'bots you can get away with using. :) I personally would love to see the mini 'bots join forces with the plants & fight together against the zombies & evil big 'bots for universal peace/dominion. A fun twist to the mini-games would be to throw in an egg battle with the chicken invaders.... ;-D

This game is a vertical style of P vs Z. I liked the story in P vs. Z better. The game has many levels. Don't let the beginning fool you. After you finish the first mission of 5 stages with 10 levels and 2 mini-games each, you then open 2 more missions. Thus you end up with 150 levels and 60 mini-games. You have to beat the mini-games to advance. Some are easier than others. I am still stuck on the final mini-game but will conquer it (hopefully). Usually once you figure out a strategy for a group of 10 missions, it will work throughout. I found that I didn't need all the variety of robots but they were fun to play around with. I found that waiting for the energy to accumulate in the beginning was boring and made the game slow at times. Enjoy the game it is a great value.

Pros: - Cute graphics (though papa & mama bots really creep me out haha) - Lots of varieties in robots and enemies - Require strategies as it gets harder each stage - Long play time: 2 more difficulty settings that unlocked after finished lower difficulty (50 stages each) - Very addictive - Kid-friendly - Good replay: has achievements, mini games (mission stages), and sometimes you have to replay levels to collect enough metal parts for upgrades Cons: - For me there's none :), though it may appear a little repetitive to some Conclusion: Highly recommended if you like this type of defensing game.

I waited until I finished it before writing my review. Good game play, that can be a complex as you want it to be. If you just want to play pick the same defenders you had last time. If you want more strategy try a different mix. The mini games "missions" provide a mix of variety so the game doesn't get stale. Some of the missions can get pretty tough! One of the few cons I have about the game is the limit of 3 player(s) save slots. We have a big family and 3 individual slots just isn't enough for us. Other than that, the adults love it, the kids love it. Great game.

Constantly challenging, great replay, strategy a must, excellent brain challenge, good length and a heck of a lot of fun. I get sucked in for hours with this one. Build a force to fight the evil robots (hate the guy with the snake arm!). Reminds me of Plants VS Zombies, in a very good way. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

I've been looking for another game like P vs Z and this is it. Same basic idea, different story and characters. My son and I were somewhat sad when we beat the last level, only to discover there is ANOTHER WHOLE BATTLE with 130 new stages. And just when we beat those levels, we discover ANOTHER 130 stages !! This game goes on an on =)

i bought this game for my 3 year old grandaughter. When I started playing I became very involved and addicted to it. My 29 year old son came by and asked what the game was and upon checking it out he also became addicted.

I've never written a review before, but had to for this game - so many games just don't last long enough. At first I thought this one would be like that, but when you finish the first mission, the credits play and then a whole new mission opens up! I've been playing this for a couple of weeks now and just started the third mission. It's very addictive, and although it gets pretty hard if you buy all the upgrades it's just about doable. Not as funny as Plants vs Zombies, but a very similar game and very enjoyable.

Platform/tower defense style game. Many little robots to choose from, to defend against big mean robots. Overall, game is too short. Have been playing the game for about 3.5 hours total, have completed 4 of 5 chapters. Each level is relatively short. I do not see much variation to be a good replay value. Would be nice, after getting each new little bot, if hovering mouse over, would remind you of what the newer little bots do. There are about 40 bots, all told.

you will like this game! This game goes on forever (Thankfully) LOVE the little bots - cute characters - need to play with sound as the sound signals your incoming enemies - mini games are fun, fun, fun - only regret is that this is a vertical vs horizontal field - personally I liked the horizontal playing field of P vs. Z better - other than that this game is well worth every click!

I haven't felt the need to review a game before, but this game is really fun. It's kind of slow in the beginning levels, but stick with it. I like how you have to plan out which robots to use on each level. It gets more and more challenging. After I finished the first chapter I was bummed cuz they roll they credits and I thought it was over, but then there are more chapters after that. It definitely has replay value. I've enjoyed replaying levels over to earn more parts so I can buy things in the lab. I'm a funpass member to avoid buying games I can finish in a few hours, but I've been playing this one for almost 2 weeks and I'm not finished with it.
