At first, I thought it was one of those lame games that will be very short. I'm a great fan of Edgar Allan Poe's works. Boy, was I so wrong! I enjoyed the game so much that I was saddened to see it end but the ending was truly fitting. I loved the watch trips to different eras in time. The graphics, the way it was written was excellent. MOre games like this please.. please.. and see if you can up the length of time a person plays it.... Thanks for such a wonderful game like this!

I enjoyed this game because it was challenging but not so hard that you got stuck.

All 3 Midnight Mysteries are good. I played this one about a fortnight ago, and have just replayed it. Was little sense of deja vu, I still had to work to find all the objects, even though I had played it so recently. The story occasionally gets confused, unless you really stay on top of the clues. I particularly like being able to see a silhouette of an object before resorting to a hint. Tips: Watch the colour of the "interact" cursor to get the exact spot to click on your tool. Otherwise it is easy to rule out a tool that works, because of inexact clicking. Graphics and sounds are not up to the standard of the following Midnight Mysteries, but that's as it should be. Hoping there'll be more of this series.

I am an avid Hidden Objects fan, but with most games you have too-short time limits, the graphics are fuzzy (making the objects nearly impossible to find), and there are way too many objects needed to pass to the next level. All these negatives point to too much stress and not being able to enjoy the game with your children. Well, this game gave me stress, but only because I wouldn't quit at bedtime! Midnight Mysteries - The Edgar Allen Poe Conspiracy is just what you want in a Hidden Object game. The graphics are outstanding - making the game much easier to play and easing eye strain; game play is quick and the number of objects is not overwhelming. Replay has you looking for different objects in different locations, so you could replay this game forever and not find repetition. The story line is interesting, and best of all there are no time limits (and no penalties for clicking the wrong thing). My 13-year old son played with me and I think we had one of the most enjoyable experiences we've ever had playing a hidden objects game! For that reason alone it is well worth the cost! Of course, with GameHouse, cost is never really a problem anyway. I would definitely give this game 5 stars in every category, and will finish this review right now so I can go buy it. Happy puzzling!

I played the MM - Salem Witch Trials first, and enjoyed it so much I knew I had to play this one. I was not disappointed. I did like the "Salem" one better, but the Edgar Allan Poe game was still unique and thoroughly enjoyable. I liked how you could collect the ravens for hints, and I loved the storyline about rescuing ghost Poe, by diving into three of his books to solve the mystery. Graphics are excellent. Creepy and dark, but not too dark to find objects and finish puzzles. I certainly hope there are more Midnight Mysteries in the future!

I don't play hidden object games very often any more, but this one was pretty good. You're able to skip a lot of the story, but I wish you had the option to skip even more of it if you want to.

Nice touch for a hidden object game. I enjoyed solving the mystery and finding clues to advance the game.

I was prepared not to like this game due to some of the reviews it got. I was quite suprised. It was very entertaining, objects were relatively easy to find, enjoyed the interaction between characters, mini games were not too difficult, but where different. All in all a good game for the money. My only complaint would be that it was too short! Was really into it when it ended!

Good hidden object with a little bit of interactive woven in. Well-done illustrations make it easy to identify the different objects once you spot them. Definitely considering buying this one.

The storylines blended well and the ghostly feel works great for this time of the year. What made this more than just another seek n find/puzzle game was the interesting ways you did both of them. All of the objects were time related(so think old stuff) but also sometimes the lists will give you clues to the item, not the word.Somthing like 'worn around the neck'=necktie. And if an object is hidden you might need to use something you have found to help you get to it,ie;give dog the bone to get the book. The puzzle games are incorporated into the game,ie;to get the gates open you need all missing tiles. Another very interesting part of this game was meeting and getting information from the ghosts. If you click on one out of turn they might say somethigh like 'You need to speak to the boy before you come to me.' The down side is that you go back to the same location and find some of the same items which makes the game move along faster. Hints are plentiful just don't get caught by the black cat-ha!

This is the first game I've downloaded since I got the fun pass free trial. I was amazed, I've played some hidden object games that have ended after an hour of gameplay, the first chapter of this game was amazing and while I found the second two a little rushed I was still very impressed with the overall experience. The story was engaging, the game play was fun, The overall atmosphere at times was chilling enough for a Poe based game, the hidden objects weren't too easy to find and at the same time weren't so obscure that you wanted to punch the makers... overall a pretty peachy game if I do say so myself!

I liked it alot it was fast paced and fun. I had a lot of fun with it too. It had an original story line, and was a good mystery, plus I liked that it had to do with the Poe's stories too, very creative. All around a good game.

I have loved that game! Step by step is impossible not be involved in it, so solve the conspiracy it becomes your only aim! That game has captured my curiosity and soul till transformed me in a sort of "revenger of gosths"! Wonderful graphic and exellent story development. I love gosths and vampires stories, and thanks this one, I'll surely playing other hidden object games. Really precious the idea to remember the great Edgard Allan Poe in his 200 years anniversary.
