The concept to this game could have worked really well if it was executed better. The game is you're an architecture and you've got some assigned work from the Mayor to do for these cities. However, I felt the game lacked the essence of being an architecture. Here, I'm not being utilized as an architecture but more as a builder. I don't have an identity in this game, there's no story line to it, and the graphic is uninspiring. I've played many TM games before, so I usually pick it up pretty quickly, but I found this game confusing and too many clicking this and that. Though, I still think some may enjoy this game. As for me, it needs some more work.

This game starts with building small apartments and gradually increases to "really huge" apartments. You also build offices, health centers, power plants, shopping centers, and offices. The concept is great, however, basically all you're doing is building what the Mayor has asked you to build while tearing down old apartment blocks. There are upgrades for the buildings that will save power and increase the number of residents and the income earned from each property. I really can't give an opinion on the noisiness of the game since I generally turn off the sounds on any game I'm playing. It does require some thinking especially when it calls for a certain level of happiness. You increase the happiness ratings by building parks, health centers, shopping centers, education buildings, etc. The happiness level will go down if you build too close to certain buildings such as the power plant, workshop, and factories. It did get very challenging at one point when I was asked to increase the happiness level to 35 points and also increase the population to around 5700 residents. I still am not able to finish that level since I cannot balance the two. If I increase the population, the happiness level goes down. You can play at an easy level, normal level, or hard level. You are also given the option of playing the game in a timed mode or a relaxed mode. You can also complete other tasks to win trophies but there really isn't any incentive to do so since it doesn't raise your score. There really isn't a story line. Each level starts with a request from the Mayor. When that level is completed you receive another request. This isn't a bad game. It is challenging at times even in the easy mode. Unfortunately it also gets frustrating at times when you are unable to complete one task without messing up the progress you've made on another task. Certain buildings, such as the factories, are already placed and you cannot remove them so you must work around them. Because it has different levels of play, I think the replay level will be pretty good. The graphics could be better but I've seen worse in other time management games. I really enjoy playing time management games but for some reason this one just hasn't pulled me in and made me want to complete all the levels as quickly as possible. While I don't usually care about the story line, I do think this one needed something to pull you in and grab your interest.

IF YOU LIKE TO HEAR THE 'LOUD' SOUNDS OF CONSTRUCTION, THEN TURN YOUR SPEAKERS UP AND CLICK IN! YOU GET TO BUILD 'CITY-BLOCKS' OF BUILDINGS AND YOU HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THE RESIDENTS HAPPY BY BUILDING OFFICE DISTRICTS, RECREATIONAL DISTRICTS AND SO FORTH. IF YOU YOU REALLY CLOSE YOU CAN SEE ITTY-BITTY CARS.

thot by jst the claustrophobic looks of this game that i wouldn't like it, but i'm glad i was wrong. it is very challenging to try to get the three goals u have done in the time limit set in each level. i love the fact that u can turn the time limit off, and jst play at ur own pace. the music is gr8. this game is complicated enuf that u really have to think to play it. u'r not jst clicking buttons over and over. i love it!!!!! build buildings/tear down stuff/configure ur town so it has the most happiness, economic, environmental empact on ur townfolk as possible. wonderful job, guys...
