This game was fun. Lots of things to look for and lots of tricky qlues. The graphics were good and all was set on an island. This was a reading game with one voice over, that of the girl whpm you will play, that is searching for her fellow sceinists. There is alot of going back and forth, so you will have to get use to it. But, all in all it is a fun, good game.

Graphics were nice and in keeping with island theme. Music non-intrusive. Only minimal voice-over. Not too many mini-games in either game and very easy. Both games are primarily hidden object games. Objects hidden well, but not impossible. No junk-pile and some objects are put into the inventory for later use. Hints are in the form of arrows found throughout scenes. I generally prefer unlimited hints but found enough arrows to keep going. Took me a while to remember to look for them. Move from scene to scene by way of a map so no endless running around. Nice plot, even if rather unimaginative. Obviously game 3 is planned. Hope it comes out soon. Length depends on how quick you find hidden objects. I wasn’t disappointed but I don’t play very fast. Because these games are older and primarily hidden object I didn’t expect to enjoy them as much as I did. I was sorry when the second one ended – a good sign that they were good. I rarely (if ever) award five stars, but I give this double pack a solid four. (minor spiders, bugs & snake alert but nothing jumping out at you. No flashing lights.)

I normally don't play HOG's but purchased the twin pack & have thoroughly enjoyed it! I think the story line is interesting & not too difficult. Extremely relaxing to play, a big change from TM games! It is certainly worth purchasing.

I had a fantastic time playing this HOG! Only part I did not care for was we couldn't skip through the dialogue. HOWEVER with that being said, the story line captured my attention so it got to not bother me as much later on, especially in the 2nd one. The objects are hard yet easy to find. Graphics are superb. I don't say this very often, but this would be one game i'd play again! Hoping there will be a Marooned 3 soon!

I totally enjoyed both the first and second part of this series and can't wait for the sequel, since it ends with a 'cliff-hanger',ARRRRGH! Great graphics, and story and smooth gameplay. Best of all, puzzles are doable(but may be skipped,if needed) and no walkthrough was needed to figure out what to do! So this was a totally wonderful and engaging Adventure type Hidden Object/Quest game. More like this,Please, instead of the preponderance of Dark & Dreary occult themed ones. Highly recommended!

Excellent graphics in tune with island theme. Plenty of hints throughout by use of arrows with more available in each scene. Move between scenes by way of a map, so no running around trying to figure out how to get where you need to go (quite nice).

I downloaded this one on spec, not really expecting much more than another run of the mill HOG. These are quite different. I found myself at the end of Marooned before I realised I'd played the whole thing in one sitting - hours at my pace. I decided to write up this review, and just ducked in to check that the second game was similar to the first, and you guessed it, just finished that one. So a brief summary. The story's fine, holds together over the two games. This is more of your typical HOG in that way, so not a lot of background on it. But it kept my attention engaged throughout. The graphics are good quality, although the scenes are a little static and perhaps some are a little crowded, but the objects are clear, relevant and natural - no distortions. They even appear, quite often, in the places you'd expect them. Some say the objects are too small, and I guess that's true, but I liked the naturalness of the sizes - mostly. And they are all very pretty. I like that in a HOG. I like the 3 different approaches to finding objects. Standard, the "15 feather" approach, and a new one on me, find two item that relate to the word you're given. I found that challenging and fun. One flaw- the acting stank. Will I play it again? I think that's a given! Excellent value for money.
