Unfortunately Tesla's secret legacy will remain just that because this one just doesn't measure up to the first Laura Jones adventure. This is more of an arcade game than it is an HO game. The hint system has changed and now if you use one you have to wait until it recharges before getting help again. It also doesn't save your progress within a stage - if you exit before completing a stage you need to start all over again - very frustrating! I also found any number of mislabelled items in this one. I spent 5 minutes looking for a map when it turned out to be a playing card, a web turned out to be a ball of yarn, and a tube turned out to be a bugle. I enjoyed the first Laura Jones very much and was disappointed that this one just wasn't of the same caliber. If you haven't played the first one then this one might appeal to you but I wouldn't waste any money on it and I'm actually sorry I wasted time using a FunPass to play this one. If there are to be more in this series I hope they're better than this one.

I have to say, personally this is definitely one of the best Hidden Object games I have ever played, its not all Hidden Object, its puzzles to. I really really enjoyed this game, I hope I can find more like this :)

This game really has the best of everything. Story, graphics, puzzles, characters. For those who could not finish the "number table" puzzle. The number is 3. 1+2=3 8-5=3 6-3=3 and 7-4=3 I was also a little stumped, but the Hint really does tell you what to do. Bravo again for a truly enjoyable gaming experience.

This is my favourite genre for games. The graphics and story were great and the puzzles were a mixture of med to hard. I couldn't wait to see what was coming next and I can't wait for the next Laura Jones story

It's okay, but silly. Takes a young mind to play & would be good for kids. The tasks are a little hard to figure out, but the hidden object games are ok. I agree that it doesn't measure up to the first Laura Jones game.

Above average in some areas but disappointing in others. Nice and engaging characters and storyline (although hide and seek with the ferret was silly and time wasting) . Sort of expected more to the ending. If you are having difficulty, what I almost always do with games is check for a walkthrough- just google "laura jones nikola tesla walkthrough" and within the top couple links will be a great complete walkthrough with general tips as well as detailed solutions with screenshots for every puzzle. (They have them for almost every pc game) Keep in mind this is NOT a regular HO game, this is a puzzle game with some HO scenes, to be accurate. The majority of the time you are solving some sort of puzzle or mini-game (some of which are arcade style) and you can opt to skip some of them, (you will probably want to, some are ridiculously hard with few instructions, other are childishly easy) and will be given a HO scene to complete instead, and those are good quality and have good variation. Be warned, there are errors in the word lists- for example canvas = artist's palette; web = ball of twine; and tube = tuba. There are also various searches as you go, some of which involve no skill just moving items. The scenes and objects (except the one where you skip the mini game) are all related to the story, which is good. I would have preferred if the list of objects to find came up all at once rather than a few at a time, because you know certain items are going to be on the list but you can't click them yet. The loose ends all tie up at the end and it all makes sense when you get there, well except the fact that no ferret can really understand English and interact like that. On the plus side, no timer, no wrong click penalty, unlimited hints (albeit a really long recharge.) Also novel was that sometimes items you are searching for are moving, and if you miss you have to wait for them to show up again. The mouse on the scooter at the hotel was hilarious, even if it was a stretch.

Couldn't get past the "table", so I was not able to finish. "Hint" just told you what you were trying to do, which meant if you couldn't figure the number placement, you would go no further.

I made it to the end then it took forever for me to figure out that you match the color of the symbols in the puzzle to the disks above the fountain!! Very original..loved all the moving objects, and having see-through vision. Also I enjoyed how challenging the puzzles were. I solved them but I have to admit a few took me a while. I highly recommend this game!

Storyline and graphics were ok. I would have probably finished this game if it wasn't for the silly ferret finding mini game. It was to tedious and pointless. Got on my nerves!

as the previous reviewer said i am stuck on this challenge(table numbers) anyone actually done it, it is such a good game shame about getting stuck

I got all the way to the end and could not solve the last puzzle and the hint only referred you back to the puzzle...I would have liked to finish the game...oh well.

A brilliant game which you can't get bored of as each puzzle is unique, from creating a clown inflatable, to finding mice behind moveable objects, to clicking on all the pigs you can find. With the brilliant mini puzzles throughout the story, this format is a sure winner. I look forward to more like this.

When I played this game I felt impowered to keep going and to use a little more of my brain than I did before. Not just sit back and get entertained. The mini's make you work for it, hints not much help, but it sure does feel good when you solve them. Game reads story aloud(nice touch). Great graphics and sound. I liked the way you can move things around in the purse or on the desk, etc. to find more items. I can tell you this game is doable, sometimes very chanenging but very rewarding . No answers here just follow instructions and use common knowlege and it can be done. Keep going and good luck!!!See you at the end..
