the graphics on this game are not crisp and detailed like most of the new games we are used to, but it is fun to play. the characters are gr8. you want to help Anya. you love the theif, Cedric. even the pesky monkey. i found myself enjoying this game from the beginning. can see myself playing for hours. cleaning up axes/swords/sheilds/armour-embelishing it all with gold and jeweles. buying supplies. buying and selling. very entertaining...

Loved the game. It is a bit clicky, depending on the cards you have and that you use. I enjoyed it very much. It was a challenge to get every level as an expert but it can be done. I keep replaying it even tho I have beaten it a few times. :)

I really enjoyed this game a lot. A good amount of thinking and planning involved, and definitely some serious challenges, especially when you are fighting/defending different characters. I really wish that there were more games like this available for Mac. It's really too bad that King's Smith I isn't available on Gamehouse for Mac! I really hope that they make another one!

I hand is still numb, as I write this. What a fun game and this is coming from an old lady that does not like "Time management games". Fooled myself, cuz I liked this one. It has Anya, the Wizard, the workers, (shame on me, I don't have their names down yet) and a monkey. The monkey is a pest, cute but never the less a pest. Then you have your BF, Celtric, he is great. Kisses. Then there are hundreds of travelers that come to sell or buy their things. It was a hand experience, my right. (coming back to life) Cute little town and new people, what more can you ask for. The music got to me a little, but the clink of the coins and gems, I tend to like. The graphics/art was cute, well done and most colorful. So, to all you "Non time management gamers" get this game and give it a try. This Time Management Game just might change your mind too.

I like the game. But I wish it gave you a price range on what you could possibly get offered for your wares. I started the game accepting offers when they first turned green "thumbs up" but later found that I could possibly get a better offer if I reject it. I found the game fun but it didn't grab me enough to buy it right away. I'm on the fence about this one. :-[

I am enjoying this game very much. I love the old world European setting, The adventure story is quite different for a TM game. The graphics are refreshingly simple with great colors and wonderful music that is repetitive, yet not annoying. The main music piece is a subtle instrumental of Greensleeves, which brings even more old world romance to the atmosphere. One of my all-time favorite melodies ever. There is the typical materials management aspect of buying materials and selling finished products. Raw materials have surprise sales where one can purchase at steep discounts which assists in the race for the best time. The sale of finished items are at auction and assistance is provided for that; thankfully, because how do we know how much a sword is worth, ha! You get to buy upgrades, of course, so you get busier every few levels. Through it all there is magic, dragons, royalty, special side excursions, thieves, and more fun. LOVE IT. One draw back is the custom cursor; it keeps with the ancient look, but a little clunky. I checked out the credits and found it to be written by a Czech group which accounts for the overall flavor of the game. My family roots are in Prague, long ago. Might be why I like it?! The English is perfect, by the way.

if this is kings smith 2 where is number 1. searched gamehouse, cant find it? i seem to remember a similar game, but not on ghamehouse, maybe 4 or 5 years ago.this game is cute, but i find the writing very hard to see.and the items needed also really difficult to see, however by accident i hovered the mouse over and that enlarges it.has real potential once you get into the game.nice to see more tm games coming to the fore.good for all ages.also like relaxed option.

I played until I got to the first monkey I had to tame by repeatedly clicking on it. Until that point the game seemed like it might have some potential, but I like my games to require thought, not rapid clicking.

The basic premise of the game is quite good, with a decent storyline and characters. I liked the items you can buy to upgrade your abilities. But the clicky monkeys are very annoying. Worst of all is the complete randomness of the game. You are at the mercy of a)random pricing b)random bargains and c)random purchases. So making gold on a level is often nothing to do with your own skill or gameplay. It's entirely to do with a roll of the computer dice, which I find very tedious. On one level, I tried five or six times to make my goal, trying different strategies. I finally made it entirely because I got three of the 'Lord Vader' style figures, who always give you way more cash. That was the only reason. I wouldn't buy it for that reason.

This game was FUN to play. Yes it's clicky but it's different in a way from the other time management games cuz it has these cool power-up cards that you have to find/earn that will allow you to change your strategy in how you win certain levels throughout the game which determines how much you need to be "clicky" on each level. It's a bit challenging to get all the levels in "expert time" but it can be done and it's fun. There's definitely re-playability here. It reminds me a bit of the concept that the "Farm Frenzy" games are based on. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I recommend it for anybody that likes clicky time management games that are a bit challenging but do require some think time for strategizing. Another game that is in my top 10 favorite games of Gamehouse. :)
