I was excited to play this game and make ice cream, but was disappointed. It doesn't really feel like you are preparing or making ice cream. All in all , it is a good basic time management game.

I was enjoying this game until I had to raise my ice cream stands from #2 to #3. I got one done, but that was it. I tried over and over and over and over and over and......... You get the picture. I finally just deleted the game. I can only spend so much of my life making virtual ice cream desserts. You cannot get rid of the custom cursor, which causes problems. Especially as the game becomes more difficult. I often clicked on items and they were not picked up. This is okay early on, but later it often can be the difference between winning and losing. A tip for anybody who wants to play this game. If it looks like you are not going to win a challenge, just exit the game and go back in. You will not lose any money. Believe me, when you get near the end you are seriously going to appreciate this tip. ;o)

So, I got the trial first as I usually do - and I found this game to be fun. I love all the tycoon games where it is necessary to spend money to make money and build a business, and the fact that it incorporates a dash type game with the ice cream stand is great - it is like my two favorite types of games rolled into one. BUT, after enjoying my free hour I went ahead and purchased the game and after about 2 hours of play the ice cream stand is too challenging to beat. Now, I am not saying that games should be easy - but at this point I am VERY far from coming close to beating the game and I can not even progress at all. I wish i had spent my money on a different game

This was a really fun time management game. There were a few levels where it got a bit "OMG Click EVERYTHING!!", but for the most part it was quite a fun, quick-moving game. I can see where it might be difficult for someone who's not familiar with a time management game, but for those who've played quite a few similar style games, it's an enjoyable (and cute) game.

This is a genre with so many games to choose from, and unfortunately Ice Cream Craze is not one worth choosing. It starts with the graphics. The main characters are creepy, bug-eyed people, and while the art shows technical merit, stylistically it's hard to look at. It's like Bratz dolls gone hideously awry. The similarity is so striking one wonders if this game wasn't intended for eight-year-old girls. Then there's the waiting. This game has lots of repetitive waiting for pointless animations and screens. To get to a challenge, you have to wait for your truck to weave across the screen, which is annoying. When the day ends, you have to wait for each location to pop some money, and the sky to change from day to night, and then a status screen pops up you have to click okay to move to the next day. Given that each challenge takes about two minutes to play, it's a LOT of waiting. You end up spending about as much time waiting as you do actually playing. Transitional animations in and of themselves aren't a bad thing, but the ones in this game are too slow and there are too many. As if this weren't enough, the game has a terribly annoying soundtrack, so while you sit there being annoyed at various aspects of the game, the music only makes you MORE annoyed and frustrated. But all of these things aren't what makes a game. What really makes a game is the gameplay, and Ice Cream Craze fails in this department, too. The actual gameplay itself is thoroughly unenjoyable. It's also bizarre. Most games of this genre, you can make items and set them aside, but not this one! Instead of making ice cream cones and treats, it's like you're playing with a set of tokens that represent ice cream an treats, and your goal is just to sort the tokens in the right order. Anyone who plays a lot of games in this genre will find themselves initially confused when they try to put an ice cream cone they're holding on a plate and it takes two plates -- one for the ice cream and one for the cone. Given how one makes ice cream cones in reality, it's all the more bizarre. The sad thing is, I really wanted to like this game. It has boatloads of customization and it's totally open-ended as to what order you do things in. The storyline is decent. But creepy characters, annoying music, lots of pointless waiting, and unenjoyable gameplay make this game impossible to like. I downloaded it, played several levels, and deleted it with thirty minutes. It's that bad.

This game is really good. Its quite fun and has a pretty challenging side to it. Easy to learn and understand. The ending is the most challenging of all. I still haven't been able to get threw it (haha). I would for sure without a doubt recommend this game to other people of all ages.

This has got to be the stupidest most irritating, frustrating game I have ever played. Thank goodness I didn't pay for it. Don't waste your time unless you want to be talked down to and irritated.

I really loved this game! I love how you switch between different places and thus between different kinds of customers. I don't get the people who claim it was too difficult; I only had trouble with the final challenge, and even that one, I could manage in two tries. Maybe it's because I've played dozens of these games, but I didn't think it was too difficult at all. It was challenging, yes, but it was perfectly possible to finish all the levels.

I enjoyed playing this fast paced game. Quite often, I would have to play rounds over and over to conquer them, but that just shows that it's not an easy game! You do have to climb the ladder of challenges, and they do get harder the further you go. The characters were enjoyable overall, but I'd sometimes get annoyed with them when they had little or no patience. I found myself telling them to chill out or get over it. Ha! Another sign of a good game. And the things they would "say" between rounds were quite often very funny. No lost in translation English here! It took me 193 "game days" to finish it. (Maybe a week and a half real days.) I very much enjoyed playing Ice Cream Tycoon Takeover, but by the time I finally conquered it, I was happy to move on to a different game.

If you enjoy time-management games, you will like Ice Cream Tycoon. The quirky storyline is fun, and the graphics are pleasing. It gets a bit repetitive without original changes to the game at different levels. It just gets faster paced and clickier. The final stage is very challenging and very clicky. It's a bit addictive, but not super addictive like other time-management games.

It was a very cute game which got progressively more challenging; until a mid-game level was suddenly impossible to get past. I'm a veteran time-management game player, and I can't even get close to passing this one level. I'm sorry now that I purchased this game...

I love this game, even though I can't get through some challenges which is frustrating, I keep trying. It's fast paced. I only wish it were quicker to get to the next day. I am not very patient. I want to get on with the next day as quickly as possible to make more money. I would definitely recommend this game.

I'm pretty good at this type of this game, and have built a level 3 stand at all but the movie studio location. I'm not able to even earn the "super slick flooring" on this level, because everyone (especially the actress) becomes unhappy too quickly. This prevents progressing in the game, which is very disappointing. Like someone else also said, the repetitious graphics are annoying, as well.
