I did not want to play House of a 1000 doors because the concept art looked macabre, but I did start with family secrets and I liked it. So I decided to try this second chapter. Wow. It has me hooked now. I did not find a flaw with it and hoping they come with a third installment.

:*) Greetings! Will not get into details, as this would spoil the very nature of a "Hidden Object" game. However, I retain the prerocative of being quite disappointed of the sequel, of an EXCELLENT first episode. It is distinctively, put together {not from the start} and "finished" extremely hastily. So much so, that the platinum edition does not even include the "soundtrack" in the "Bonus" or "Extras" rather, which would be a serious easement to "a heartbroken player". Well, this One atleast! Maybe try the less-expensive non-platinum version? Just a thought, Thank You.

In my opinion, this is the best HO game issued this year. Their was nothing I did not like about this game. I will keep this game in order to replay it again in the future.

I really enjoyed this game. The graphics are exquisite! For me, the game was difficult enough to hold my interest, but easy enough so that I didn't become frustrated. The hints are real hints, and easily available if you need them. The HO scenes were fairly easy, a bit interactive, and again, hints were readily available if help was needed.

I loved this game as much as the first one - my only problem, it was too short and seemed to be over very quickly. Don't get me wrong, it was absorbing and fun (just as in the first one) and some of the problems had me really having to think about it, but I played it from beginning to end in just a couple of hours. This is also one of the only games I have ever considered re-playing. Bring on the third one and may it be long!

I cannot say this enough love the jump map!!!! The game was very good. Not to easy or to hard. Just right for me. Graphics were pretty good also. Love choices of difficulty .

Another great HOG from ALAWAR. Great graphics, great pace, great story, they just keep pumping out the best hidden object games in the industry. Thank God they had the map and you could jump from place to place or a lot of time would have been spent running around.

I really liked the first House of 1000 Doors, and this one did not fail to deliver. I was disappointed by only one thing (hence the four-star rating) -- on the Map screen, there were a lot of unopened rooms, which led me to think the game was going to go on for a while. Imagine my surprise when the game ended without ever offering access to these rooms! Argh! Other than that, terrific game!

Although HO's are not my favorite there are exceptions and both House of 1,000 doors games have hit my favorite list. I love that you are not just searching Ho scenes after Ho scenes just to do it. There is a reward of another clue or tool with each scene. There are alot of things to do between the Ho scenes to keep you busy, along with mini games. You also have a map that you can use to jump to another scene, which reduces the agverating back tacking. The hint button gives you enough of a clue that I didn't need a walkthrough at all.. Graphics are beautiful. Looking forward to the next adventure in the House of 1,000 doors.

Absolutely first rate. Loved this game. Definitely value for money. I was really surprised each time another portal was revealed as I usually find the games I am really enjoying are over too quickly. Great storyline, great graphics, great mini games. Alawar know their stuff!! Looking forward to the next few hundred doors!

This is one of the best! It's like a great book where you want to keep turning the page. You just one to do one more area, then maybe one more, then maybe one more....... You simply don't want to leave your computer but it's a decent sized game and it would be a challenge to complete in one sitting! With any hidden objects game you want entertainment and House of 1000 Doors - The Palm of Zoroaster completely delivers: Great minigames, good hidden object levels, requires you think to get to the next step and a not too bad story line makes for a great relax with a dash of challenge. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to more Alawar installments of this quality. If you're looking for a great hidden objects game you cannot go wrong with this one.

Really like this Hidden Object game. I could do without some of the extra puzzles, but that's just a personal preference. It does have a lot of hidden object scenes, enough to sate me anyway, unlike some others that seem to be more puzzle filled than hidden object filled nowadays. The greatest feature of this game is the map. OMG, did I love that feature. I'm typically not a fan of a lot of the backtracking that some of these games require, but with the map in this game, backtracking was not an issue at all! Heck, I may even go so far as to say, it made it more interesting in this particular game. The graphics were also pretty impressive and the story line is somewhat better than most. I definitely recommend this one and it's predecessor as well.

I did not find this game very challenging. The mini games, which normally give me fits, were easy, too easy for my taste. I never used the map because "what to do next" was pretty straight forward. I think you can tell how easy a game is by going to the forum. When I checked, no one seemed to be stuck at any part of the game. If you want a game you can run through without too much challenge, this might be the game for you.

One of the better hidden object games, which usuallly bore me, it has mini puzzles though which I do love but they were not too challenging.

Wishing all HO games were like this. Wanted it to go on forever (where are those 1000 doors anyway?) If you like adventure with a substantial amount of portals, you will definitely love this game. Hint button will also let you know what direction you need to go to next (without using up a hint). Graphics were beautiful. Game not too difficult. A definite reco!

As soon as I saw this release I was pretty sure I was going to buy it, but to make sure I went ahead and checked out the free trial, and I was right, I just bought it before the trial was even over because I wanted to keep playing without interruption! This game is easy to follow but still has the normal challenges to help keep you going throughout the game. Plenty of HO areas and also has the hidden morphing objects you can find and collect.

I love it as much as I did the first House of a 1000 doors. Long lasting games that keep me involved.

I enjoy the continuation of the story, the great scenery, music and multiple locations. I like being able to move about the locals as I wish. I recommend you play the game in the expert, limited help mode - more fun that way! I found myself wanting to play all the time.

The graphics/art is amazing, as is the music. You have been asked to come and help. Strange things are happening and your friends need you to figure out why. What is this fireball? You must see this game to believe what the creators have done. Just try it.

I was very impressed with this game being a senior, and not really a gamer. I was used to solitaire type games, and at first this was a bit hard for me to figure out. Once I did it was very addictive, and I found myself playing into the middle of the night. The best part is that this game did not make me fell (dumb) at all. I loved the hint button when I got stuck. Would recommend this game for someone like me. Well worth the money!
