At first I thought this game was too easy. But then I found it more challenging getting the ball in the proper position to make a strike. It does take strategy. I enjoyed the challenge. .

If a person needs a game to teach kids sitting alongside of them how to operate a mouse, This gets the job done with giggles! Mouse response is excellent, Crowd (in game) chatter will keep you laughing, and obstacles and physics abound. At this point, I have only run with single player, and I am confident the computer will keep things hopping for (multi) play! Kids may get fiesty with Grandpa, because everyone will want to give these balls a roll!

I've played and owned this game in it's original and evolved forms. This is classic bowling, but also created in a fun, challenging and very addictive game style! The thing I think that makes it appealing to a wide range of gamers is its accessibility and ease of use for almost anyone. It actually achieves what other bowing games for the pc have missed. The authentic look and feel of actual bowing alley play. It's literally like you are right there throwing the ball down the lane, and (this is not to be understated) guiding the ball down the lane where you actually want it to go! My only criticism that I have at all with this is that it could be perhaps a tad more challenging (i.e. adding more and different lanes and types of challenges) ...perhaps to include for future versions? But I would definitely recommend this one to those who want to play alone, against the computer, and if you're like me, you'll love challenging family and friends to an all night duel. It never gets old.

I was looking for a bowling game that's like bowling in a real alley. This is the only one that came close. Graphics are realistic (much better than the first Gutterball). Really enjoy playing and trying to beat the computer player. There are many different balls to choose from, each of which performs differently than the others. Would recommend this game.
