I downloaded this game several days ago. I like time management games. This game was okay. I don't like the scrolling to edge of the screen thing when you have to move around, which is a lot with this game. I like the puzzles and the finding items part to help you later. What I found disturbing was that you have two characters that you can choose to play with you during the game. The character I chose was a white female character with glasses and the other was a black male character who had corn rolls or braids in his hair. You can click on either character to perform a duty. I noticed when I clicked on the black male character to perform a task that requires thinking (using a laptop, figuring out a puzzle), he couldn't do. No matter how many times I clicked on him to perform the duty of something intelligent or that required thought he couldn't do it, but when I clicked on the white female character, she could do it with no problem. This where it gets disturbing, when the white female character can't open a lock or door, she'll say: "I have a friend who's good at breaking things and opening things", so you know who she's talking about since it's only her and the black male character there. Sure enough when you click on the black character to break something or blow up something, he can do that. Just to let you know for whomever created this games, you have a lot of black people who are very, very good with technology and using computers. You have very smart black people and some of them may or may not where corn rolls in their heads, but they are very intelligent people.

This game is fun but takes no time to play through and then if you want to play again it is the same one. I would recommend this game for kids but not for the serious game players. Graphics are great in this game also.

if u didn't like the 1st 'great adventure' game, then u won't like this one either. it is EXACTLY THE SAME as the 1st one. and, i still found playing this game frustrating b/c of the hugeness of the landscape, and all the going back and forth trying to figure out what to do. i even wanted to banish the dog b/c he was no help to me AT ALL!!!

This game was fun to play and different to anything I have played before. The layout of the gameplay is much like any 'SIMS' game. There is a good story and ability to complete submissions like collecting baubles and candycanes for the christmas tree!! Although I enjoyed the game it was easy to complete (2.5 hours) but I have reccomended the game to friends and would say it is well worth the download.

This is the first action game I have tried - just because it was a holiday game. I thought it was a challenging game. Your mission is to find a famous scientist trapped in a hotel because of a blizzard; when you get there, the place is deserted and you must find various objects to complete tasks as well as feed, rest and entertain your 2 searchers. There's a dog who points out clues for you to follow as well as hints when you collect "bones" scattered around the property. I thought it was well thought out and it was easy to find things by moving your cursor around (if something was there the name of the item pops up). It is a little time consuming because you have to follow the tasks as they are listed for you before you can move on and you also have to keep your characters happy and healthy. I'll be back at it soon!

Cute Game. Same as the original with a Christmas twist added. Short play. You can finish this in one sitting. If you played the original Great adventure, this one should be a piece of cake, if not than it is worth the effort of figuring out what to do & where to look. try not to use too many hints as the bones are not as easy to come by as you may think. Have fun & make sure your character eat, rest & play.

If you've played "Great Adventure-Lost in the Mountains" then you've played this one. The only change is the addition of Christmas decorations. I do like this game, but wish it were actually a different one, rather than just a repeat. I like the puzzles - looking for items you actually need and the mini puzzles to unlock new places. It just seems like a new location could have been created rather than recycling an existing game.

I was rather excited to see this, but realised in the first five minutes that not that much was different. However, I persevered to the end, waiting to see what was new. Every item is still in the same place, every item is used in the same way. You get a slight difference in that you are asked to find balloons and tree ornaments, but that's it. They make no difference to the end result.

I'm not sure what originally turned me off to trying this game, but I was thinking "hey, it's Christmas time, I'll give it a shot". What a pleasant surprise! Honestly, the storyline seems to play more into the background, as you try to find keys and cards to open doors, decorate a Christmas tree, free butterflies & ladybugs, decorate a room with lanterns, pick up new records for the "disco room", turn power on, play mini-puzzles, etc. A seek-and-find where you pick stuff up along the way, and have to use them at some point (and combine a few items as well). You have to pick up dog bones for hints, and believe me, you will need them! There's a boy and girl (you get to options to pick how they look). Each one can do most anything, but one may specialize more than the other to accomplish a particular goal. You have to make sure to feed, rest and "have fun" so your "bars" are at the maximum, as this makes them speedier and work on goals faster. Some of the rooms are hidden until you get into them. This makes it kinda fun, as you're not seeing everything in the game all at once. A nice surprise! Parts of it can be a little challenging, especially if you run out of hints and are unsure what to do next. You can see what your goals are, but trying to find and use the items you need, gets interesting sometimes. I would recommend this game for some lighthearted fun. Much better than expected!

Reasonable game, however it is a play once style - there is little incentive to play it again. This version is exactly the same as the original but with the addition of Christmas decorations to collect and install which gives it a cute factor. Overall I probably wouldn't bother again as its value for money to me is low as I prefer to be able to play repeats and extension games.

It was a simple - follow the instructions game. Nothing action about it, no challenge. I expected much more out of the game than a copy of the first one. Too easy to get clues when you are unsure what to do next. Please, please can someone for once make a game more challenging. Why does it have to end when the daddy is rescued? Why not put in secret levels you can play?

I love that this isn't scary or dark. I like when the games are funny, bright and cute. I enjoyed this game

If you like a bit of a challenge, you'll like this game. Wonderful graphics and sound. It's a little on the line of the "Sims" game. You get 2 characters and a helpful dog to play with. A Scientist and a Mechanic that you can go back and forth to, as you will need to. One can do things the other can't do. So they are a team. The dog will help by leading you to things you need to do as well as give you clues when you gather bones for it. Its a lot of fun. Some parts are easy and some parts of it make you think. I have a hard time leaving the game to go do other things. I haven't completed it yet, but I know I will play it over and over. Hope you find it to be as much fun as I have.
