Serve up a smorgasbord of hidden object fun in the tasty challenge of Gourmania 2 - Great Expectations Deluxe. Unemployed and with nowhere to go, your chance to shine presents itself when your uncle offers up his rundown hamburger shack as a place to get back on track. It's not much to look at, but with a good helping of elbow grease, it's certain to see better days.
prepare mouth-watering meals in this hidden object endeavor
serve customers in seven quaint cafes around the world
search for ingredients and prepare their orders
use money earned to outfit the restaurants with the finest furnishings available
not fun! Slow paced and the revive a restaurant has been done much better. One positive is that you could actually SEE the objects you were to find. I appreciated that.

I was disappointed with this game. Not enough time in the restaurants. I much preferred the original where you were able to add to your time, and serve more customers.

I was bored with this game. It is mostly just finding ingredients for meals for customers. The plot of taking a run-down restaurant and making it a success has been done many times before.

I really enjoy this game. The objects are hidden well but not too hard to find. The minigames that I have played so far were challenging & fun. The relaxed mode made it much easier to get through each level, but the timed mode is great for more experienced players. Overall, I recommend this game for all gamers.

Oh wow! I really enjoyed the 1st Gourmania but unfortunately I could only cope with this one for just a few levels as I didn't much care for the HO scenes and having to clean the walls and such. I just got bored with pretty quick. The rest seems to be pretty much the same thing as the 1st Gourmania; finding the ingredients for the customer orders. I give this 2 stars. Just got bored way too quick with this game. Sorry. Definitely give it a whirl a decide for yourself. I hope you enjoy it!
Ok so i bought this game cause i loved Gourmania original, and i personally think this game could of been so much better. Not alot to this game i have beaten the game already and i wanted to do more, but simply nothing left to do ........... I mean once you go through and get all the restaurants and make sure you have gold stars on all of them which is easily done first time through except maybe a few levels. I was saddened that this game wasn't what i wanted it to be and it had so much potential.
Had many new ideas, but was very limited. It seemed the first one was designed by a completely different person. A better review would have been given, if the title "GourmaniA2" was not associated with the first game (Kind of like Flo, not being in Diner Dash, but still being called Diner Dash)

This game is even better than the original. While it kept all the flair from the first, new games were added. As you work your way through the game, you're asked to buy new restaurants. Each individual site asks for improvements and clean up. Money is earned for these improvements by playing the games in which you seek and find the ingredients to make the requested food products of the customers. The pictures are clear and interesting. The level of difficulty continues to increase by the changing levels. Just as you get highly skilled at finding one item, the restaurant changes and the food item moves. I highly recommend this game.
Today I went shopping and bought cleaning supplies for my house. Now I'm sitting at my computer and having to buy more cleaning supplies, cleaning walls and floors and making sandwiches for people. Definitely not my idea of fun. Very disappointed. Played about 20 minutes, then deleted game. If you like making food orders and scrubbing floors, this game is for you. Sorry, but the designers really need to sharpen their pencils.
