I agree with the other reviewers. I own two of these games and love both of them. Excellent replay value and so much fun. This chapter of the Gardenscape's series has Austin returning to his parents house which has a large garden in need of fixing. The interaction of the characters is funny and always brief so it doesn't distract from the game. When Austin started to dance an Irish jig after finding the gramaphone I laughed so hard I cried. You are always in control of the game and you choose when to go to a hidden object area. The whole game is upbeat and endearing. You'll find yourself petting the dog, chatting with Austin and sitting with his parents on the benches and then suddenly realizing that this is not real, it's a game! Love it, you will too. Excellent for kids and all ages.
That's good all the gardenscapes but the best is mansion makeover work to transform that mansion in something beautiful its amazing.

I always look forward to Playrix games. The Gardenscapes and Farmscapes series are two of my absolute favorites. The graphics and storylines on these games make me want to replay over and over. In this game, we get to see Austin's childhood home and parents. We also are able to restore the garden there. The HOG scenes are very well done. Hints are very good, if you even have to use them. Interactions with the characters is a lot of fun. Can't say enough good things about this game. You really need to play it!
This game is awesome and is a great follow up to Gardenscapes. Hopefully there will be more. I'll gladly buy Gardenscapes 20, lol. And an update to Mansion Makeover would be the next great thing! This is a very relaxing game. The items listed could have been more precise. There are a few things in the scenes that would match the description for the item listed, but only one thing will work, e.g. bats, apples, forks. But it didn't take away from the fun. I could play this game over and over. Could have lost the pool table. It really doesn't go in a garden uncovered.
I love all the Gardenscapes, Barn Yarn, and Mansion Makeover games from Playrix. It's always fun to see what Austin and the other characters will say and do, and of course it is fun to refurbish your garden, mansion, barn, or whatever. The game is not difficult, but also not too easy. All of these games are just so much fun, and have excellent replay options. I highly recommend this one!

How nice it is to have Austin back with us! He's got another garden to restore and this time we get a little of his backstory. While visually stunning as are most games from Playrix, again I had the feeling that this one was a bit rushed, the same way I felt about Mansion Makeover. The HO scenes are rather cluttered and it seemed to me that little effort was made to incorporate more varied objects. In almost every scene you needed to find compasses or bows and by the end of the game I was ready to scream! The objects themselves seemed harder to find but I did enjoy the mini games imbedded in the HO scenes themselves. It was a nice change of pace. You also get to fill a photo album with pictures from Austin's youth but other than filling it up I saw no real purpose to it. I did enjoy playing it but, again as with Mansion Makeover, I see no real benefit of buying the Platinum Edition. I did purchase the game and do recommend it as a pleasant way to wile away some time but if you're easily bored by finding the same tedious objects over and over again you might want to think twice about this one.
This is a sweet follow-up to the original; all the favorite features are back (the cute kid, the happy dog, the fixer-upper items, etc) to accompany the seek-and-find gameplay. Some of the items are cleverly hidden and take several tries to find, but in all this is a lovely, fun game.

Never a disappointment. Pure fun and enjoyment. A mixture of garden renovation and HO. You earn dollars for finding objects for buyers which in turn you use to update and beautify the garden. Great fun ... enjoy!

These gardenscapes are very cute and fun. The HO are fun and fixing up the garden was a fun and relaxing Sunday. It was a cute story line. Great job Playrix!!!

I love, love, love the graphics in this game (as well as all the other similar games by Playrix). Love, love the interactions of the characters, though sometimes the dialogue zooms by. Love the choices for the decorations (though the pool table is a bit much :-)). Love the numerous levels, and they keep going on and on. My only disappointment is that I'm not that fond of hidden object games. I really wish they would do more match 3s.
I ordered the first Gardenscape game and got hooked. Fun and relaxing. I like hidden object games to be interesting but not tireing. Would recommend it as a fun change.

Those Playrix people sure know how to make a nice game. As others have said, this is mostly just seek and find. Seems a bit harder to find some objects than the other games, but that's good. Hints are plentiful if you need them. You can spend as much time as you want between the hidden object scenes, having the guy--think his name is Austin--doing a variety of tasks, including play with the dog, whom you can name. And he's not a butler this time. Anyway, if you spend too much time out in the garden with them, the "play" light will blink at you every now and then, I suppose to help if someone is lost, tho it's a bit difficult to get lost in this game. Personally I like decorating the inside the mansion better than the outside, which is what you do in this game, but that's just my preference. Developers did a great job giving personality to the characters, and the graphics are really nice. Playrix is becoming a name I would download in an instant when a new game comes out, without even looking to see what it is. They're that good.
Had lots of fun. Love all the Gardenscapes and barn yard games. I think the next one should be fixing inside his parents mansion in preparation for their wedding anniversary, then the next one should be fixing the garden for that couple that got engaged in Gardenscapes 2 in preparation for their wedding, then he meets someone at the wedding, then the next one they've been dating for a couple of years and he's fixing her garden and at the end decides to propose. Then the next one he fixes up the inside of her house/mansion in preparation for their wedding/move in after honeymoon.
I absolutely Love all of the Gardenscapes games. I have them all! The graphics are superb, nice and bright and well defined. I like that you can increase your hints by finding the ? marks in each scene, as well as getting more points by finding the gold coins. I also like that there are helps along the way, such as if you find the magnifying glass, camera or thermometer in the scene they will help you find items. I get so tired of seeing 95% of the games dark and gloomy and negative, dealing with murder, etc. this is such a refreshing and much appreciated change. The objects are fairly easy to find, although some make you look a little, but none are frustrating. They are good size and easy to see.I like the music, which is soothing, and the interaction of the characters, and as always, I like remodeling, and the fact one has 3 different choices of styles to choose from. I like we can name our dog, I only wish next time they'd add a cat, too! You won't go wrong with any of the Gardenscapes games. I can't wait till the next one comes out! Bravo! :0)
This is a great HO game. The characters are fun and the dog is adorable. The items are a bit harder to find, but that is great. One thing I wish they would have paid attention to is when they ask you to find an object, and they have two or three of the same to click on, that they would tell you which of them they want. I couldn't figure out why when they asked for an apple, the green apple wouldn't work. There was another apple in the scene.I clicked on it, and it worked. It is the same with the bats and a few other objects. Also, sometimes they write cord, when it looks more like a coiled rope. Some spelling errors as well. All in all, it is a great game and has excellent replay. I am happy that I bought it, although I wish they were more accurate when they are asking you to look for a specific item. One last thing... this is kid and Christian friendly... no swearing, no blood, no killing, no harming, no destruction.
Awesome graphics loads of hidden objects and gameplay interaction

I absolutely love this game it is as good if not slightly better than the other two, there are many achievements to gain and two modes relaxed and timed. You can also turn the sparkle option off as well. The graphics are clear and objects to find vary in size, only occasionally there were discrepencies on what is asked for and what you actually have to click on for instance asking for oil can and what they wanted was a gas can, but still fun nonetheless. Highly recommend if you enjoy other gardenscape game.
While the Gardenscapes series will never be among my favorite hidden object games, they provide a lot entertainment for what they are, and this one is no exception. Austin and his family are like old friends, and you want to help him fix up whatever it happens to be. This time it's his parent's garden, which has long since fallen into neglect. So, once again, you help with the sales to earn enough money to fix up the garden. These are straight HO scenes. I would like them better if some objects were hidden or needed two steps to complete, but they don't. The colors are bright, and the graphics, while not as crisp as I would like, are fine. What keeps you going, of course, is the opportunity to spruce up the garden. I also liked the extra touch of the photos of Austin as a youngster. You almost feel like a family friend. A good game for kids as well.
I LOVE these games - they're really fun, relaxing, easy games. This time Austin heads home to his parents house to find that their garden is in shambles. Like the other games, he sells items in the house to make money to repair the garden. Game play is similar to the other games except in this one you had little "jobs" to do in the rooms sometimes before you had a sale. Like put a shelf up or clean up the room...The hints are the same - accumulate 5 question mark hints to use whenever and magnifying glass, camera and/or thermometer hints in the HO scene. This one also has trophies you can win - like selling 500 items or having 20 sales, etc...Also, once you finish the game, you can keep playing to change everyone's clothing. :) If you like the Gardenscapes games, I think you will really enjoy playing this one.
