Alawar is known for its complete games, and this one is no exception. The graphics are superb, the colors are full and vibrant, the scenes are not dark unless they need to be, the music fits each scene very well, and the voice overs are good. Additionally, the story line is compelling and pulls you forward. The HO scenes are moderately difficult, and the puzzles are harder than average, but not so hard that a 12 year old couldn't complete them with a bit of patience. The provided map is a huge help. This is a complicated game, and without the map letting you know where you need to go next, I don't know how anyone would make it through. Additionally, the map shows you where the "found" items are and shows you where there are still some needing to be found. I was disappointed that the ending did not wrap up some of the story line, but other than that, this is a complete game, and one you will surely enjoy.

I liked this game because it was on the right side of difficult. Most of the puzzles and hidden objects were straightforward but there were a few in there that kept things interesting and not too easy. The ending was a bit implausible but other than that, I enjoyed it.

I have been looking forward to play this game when it came out several days ago but I was not permitted cause that was the platinum version. Yesterday I played this normal version, found that I could not stop. Good storyline, beautiful graphics, and charming voice in some scenes, plus challanging puzzles.. I have been attractive by the story but the ending is not perfect. Just one problem, as to Beyond Subjects, some of them are not changeable in locations so that it was hard for me to find them. Anyway, wonderful game.

This is one of several games that I have played that were published by Alawar Entertainment. They all have a high level of quality graphics, nice sound and engaging puzzles (mini-games). Forbidden Secrets - Alien Town fits right in. I liked the different take on the HO scenes. I also like the "Beyond Objects", which is a HO game within the game. The only thing I didn't like about Forbidden Secrets was its sudden and ambiguous ending. Otherwise it is very entertaining. I will continue to buy games from this publisher without hesitation.

I enjoyed the game as a whole. Great voice acting, map, mini-games and using the map to get back to the places vs having to click so much to go back so far was a great feature. The story was real good. The ending wasn't ideal. I would of liked to see the people unfrozen but it is what it is. Good job Alawar

Excellent hidden object game. Sometimes you have to actually do something with the object. If you are stumped by a mini game, you can skip it. Great graphics, very fun to play, couldn't wait to finish it but was sad when it was over. Hope I find another game as great as this one was.

Hardly hit the hint button at all. However, I made good use of the map, which will take you where you need to be without having to click back and forth through scenes. That is definitely a big plus. HO were a little tricky because not all of them were find-the-object-on-the-list. They alternated with find-the-object-that pairs-with-the-object-on the list. Great storyline and the dialogue among characters wasn't long and tedious. You could usually click through it or simply skip it. However, you should read it because it gives hints on where to find stuff or what that particular character needs. Overall good play and I recommend it.

What a game! It has an original storyline, fantastic graphics as well as great sound and visual special effects. The game is enticing and diversified with numerous HOs and mini-games. The HOs are a mix of either finding the items or placing items where they belong – loved the change. It breaks the monotony of simply looking for hidden items and requires some thinking. The mini-games are different and interesting. The map shows you were action is required. And, the fact that you can simply click on any such location saves you a lot of going around in circles. This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. It is a truly enjoyable experience!

Great adventure, great graphics. Has a variety of HO scenes, some of which your list was pieces of objects which you had to pick up and place into the scene. Made it very interesting. But the BEST part ... a navigating map that allowed you to jump from one location to another. I thoroughly enjoyed and believe EVERYONE will like.

I liked the map, it made it easy to maneuver while playing this game...less clicking from location to location.

This is a great game. Interesting story, amazing graphics, good puzzles that aren't too challenging. Great map feature that you can just click on the location you want to go to so you don't have to walk around. Hints are fast to refill. Fun HO scenes - it's not always find the objects in the list. Sometimes you have to put the items where they belong in the scene. Definitely worth playing!

I have to say this is one of the best I've played in a while. Great graphics, enjoyable HO's and mini games. Wonderful storyline! Just an overall great game!

what can i say. loved this game. the map was GREAT. love that u can jump to the place u need to go without having to back track. love that the maps legend told me where i needed to go, and if a beyond item was located in that spot. the story was suspensful. the graphics great. the music perfect. loved that u not only have traditional HO scenes, but scenes that u put items where they logically belong. the variety helps make the game interesting. my only complaint was the abrupt ending. i wanted to see the suspended people of the town come back to life. all in all, tho, a great game...

I really enjoyed this game. The story was fun, and the HOG portions interesting. I liked the map feature that allows you to go directly to areas of action, rather than having to backtrack endlessly like so many other games recently. I was hooked and played it straight through.

This game has it all! Hidden Objects, mini-games, great storyline. I play on "casual" because I like to relax while I play. The hints recharged very quickly and you were able to skip mini-games without waiting too long. The map was awesome because it told you where you needed to do things, if there were "beyond objects" hidden in the area (LOVE this feature!) AND you could go directly to that area with the normal clicking through fifty scenes to get where you could do something. I have always enjoyed Alawar Entertainment games and this is just another example of why they are so good. More, please!

I consider this game to be above average for a H.O.G. The graphics and game play are worth the time and money.
