Save a Hollywood starlet from the trappings of a raving lunatic in Film Fatale - Lights, Camera, Madness Deluxe, a captivating hidden object thriller. M.W. Vernon directed many magnificent movies. His most amazing film was to be shot on an island studio but due to unfortunate incidents, the movie never saw the light. Years later, the studio is falling apart and the film's actress is missing.
search a derelict island studio for a missing actress in this hidden object encounter
locate clues to her whereabouts and figure out who is behind the madness
avoid dangerous traps set within fantastical movie sets
As a big fan of your hidden object games, Ive tried a ton and this is another good one. I loved this game, very good storyline, good graphics, would recommend it. :)

Got to a certain ponit in the game and cannot advance no further .I had inserted all the cassette it said cleared the puzzle but now cannot get out of the area as it wants me to insert the cassette which have already done and thats it. Have tried everthing to solve but obviosly a glinch. Just so disappointed as I have given up. Was enjoying it till that happened.

Beware this game does have flaws, but it's a good game. I got to a point where I had the photo scraps, hairpin and a sword but nowhere to use it. The map did not give me an objective area to go to and I had no more HO's to do. It was fun while it lasted though.

I played the trial of this game in casual mode and enjoyed it enough to go ahead and get it and was not at all disappointed! The game flowed right along thanks to the map that you could use to go from place to place and get hints from as to what room had objectives to accomplish. It wasn't the longest game but it did last longer than I thought it might thanks to some interesting twists and I finished it in just under 3 hrs. Most of the HO's were very easy to find while a few I really had to look for (but thankfully NOT because they were so miniscule I couldn't see them!). I liked the story line well enough as it stuck to the plot line and the fact that the voices and graphics were very well done. Overall, I enjoyed this game for the simplicity of story and characters with voices as well as the helpful map! It was not at all frustrating and held my interest as it moved right along and didn't make me concentrate so hard to figure out the what/where of every single move! As for replay, wellll....I'll try the expert mode! :-)
The story line was good and the graphics as well. Though, it was very quick. I finished the game in a little over an hour. If the game was longer I would of given it more stars, because besides the time frame it took to complete it, it was a great game. The HO was fairly easy, but you can choose your difficult level. Plus, instead of having to walk through each scene over and over again to find the next HO game or game piece you need, you can use the map to click which room you want to be in.
I agree with most that this is a good game but some areas were flawed. For example I hadn't found the gym but was able to skip one of the puzzles that required an item from the gym. Better HO do not let you skip until you have aquired all the necessary objects to complete a puzzle. I was gathering the torn pieces of the photo for assemble when I was at the last HO place for the 3rd set I accidently clicked the back button. Unfortunately, that STOPPED the HO search and I was NOT able to go back to it. There fore I was not able to finish the game because I lacked the necessary item to go forward. This part needs to be fixed so that you do NOT have to restart to finish the game.
the game play experience was verygood..I might have given it 4 stars. The problem is not so much technical as it is annoying. at one point I missed picking up an object..and the game was over..i Could not return to the game, and was unable to go any further.

I have to say that the story line was interesting and the graphics were great. I only had to use the hint button once in the whole game, as hidden objects were relatively easy to find. What I didn't like was the fact that the game was just way too short. I was able to complete it in a couple of hours. Pair that with the fact that it doesn't have any particular replay value, and I'm wishing that I hadn't bothered wasting a ticket on it.
I enjoyed playing this game, but it had too many programming flaws which prevented me from finishing. Found out that if I was trapped in a room and used the map to jump to a new location, it was impossible to get back into that room to gather needed tools. Too bad, because this might have been a 5 star game. Hope you have better luck than I did.

I thought the HO's were easy but the jumping all around was kind of lame. I had already "oiled" one door and gotten through it, and nothing happened. Then I couldn't figure what to do at the end, so I had to look at a Walkthrough on another website, and it said I needed to go through that door again. I would have never thought to do that. So I used the map to go to that room, and this time a key just fell out of the sky! Really? It just wasn't a well made game even though some of the scenes were well done.
I enjoyed this game so much that I played straight through in about three hours on casual level. There is a lot of back and forth but a map is provided so you can switch rooms with just one click. The map also highlights the rooms that you need to do something in, so that made it even better. There were a few parts that stumped me because I overlooked entrances. The graphics are clean and clear, hidden object searches are very easy on casual mode. Nice storyline with a few plot twists, a few shocks and a few scenes of corpses, but nothing overly gory. The puzzles were original without being so hard that you bang your head on the keyboard. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I really liked this game but I finished it in two hours! The graphics were good and the dialogue/storyline was interesting. I prefer a game that includes a "jump map" so you don't have to backtrack through umpteen rooms. This game included such a map (you even get "sneakers" to help you "jump"). Hints were good and the map told you where you had things to accomplish. I would suggest playing this on FunPass but not sure I'd buy it. Just too darn short!
nothing very different then the 100's of other games in hidden object, just mediocre at best. i spend the hour and didn't consider buying the game. I'm not recommending this to truly good players. you'll get bored.

The storeyline was excellent and you can click through them if you wish. I really made use of the map because there are so many places to go in this game. Really liked the ending. The hint button wasn't much good to find out which direction you should be going in and the map often didn't display the HO and active areas.

This game was fun, not too hard but intriguing enough. I loved having a jump-around map so I wasn't constantly repeating my steps. The voices were well done and it was a nice balance of creepy and campy. I'd have given it more stars but I had a techno glitch where I couldn't actually finish the game, after doing some surfing I discovered this was a glitch quite a few people encountered. I was so close to the end that it was disappointing, but not terribly so as the outcome was pretty clear at that point (unlike my unhappy experience with Campfire Legends - the Babysitter). Be warned that it is a short game, but, it is very enjoyable!
Not a personal favorite. The hidden objects are good enough, the graphics are fine, the program is well written with no flaws in running the game. The game is short, so it doesn't seem to be a good value to me.

Nce to have a new HOG with an interesting and different storyline. Good graphics, not too hard, but not too easy HO's, and some puzzles that if too hard can be skipped, but I challenge you not to. :) I also like the feature with the shoes where I can go from one room on the map to another, rather then the dreaded room to room to room, just to get to the one area type.

Many errors in this game. Not very challenging but very frustrating trying to find objects that aren't there.

It's not bad, but it's not a winner. Much too short. I found it too easy. The story odd. Graphics and HO scenes ok. Dead bodies, so not kid friendly. I recommend playing it on expert mode since it's such an easy game. I don't see any replay value whatsoever and it's much too short to be a good purchase. Since there's a lot of different rooms (a maze of rooms) it was good there was an interactive map so you could see where there was something to do and jump to it. That in itself won a full star. It just wasn't anything special. But decent entertainment for an hour or two.
this is a very interesting HOG. the story is kinda cliche, but the characters make it entertaining. the daughter looking for her mom. the mom, an aging hollywood actress. the villian, a deranged film maker. & it all occurs on the villian's private island. LOVE. the graphics are good, the music nice. i absolutely love the map-u can jump to the place you need to go w/out having to constantly back track. i played the easy mode, so the room you needed to go to solve a puzzle-once you obtained all the items for that puzzle-lit up in green. nice. the puzzles themselves were very challenging. the skip button becomes active after you've had a chance to solve the puzzle-i like that it didn't take FOREVER as in some games to be able to skip if you wanted. i also really enjoyed the HO parts of the game. there are enuf of them to make it a HOG, and they are challenging w/out being too difficult. the graphics and size of items are such that, while i had to use the hint button, i did not have to use it excessively. very nice job on this game, guys. if you like HOG's i think you'll like this one. now back to the game...
