Stop Victor Vile and the Illiterati in Fiction Fixers - The Curse of Oz Deluxe, a whole new quest to save the merry old Land of Oz. The Illiterati and Victor Vile are using their despicable powers to twist The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The Emerald City is in danger and only you can restore the damage and stop this infamous organization from continuing to destroy these wonderful works of art.
travel to the magical Emerald City in this wonderful hidden object adventure
escort Dorothy and Toto safely through a twisted version of Oz
enlist the unique talents of the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion
solve intriguing puzzles, and play fun mini-games in many memorable locations
This started out to be an interesting game but when I needed a hint it always said the same stupid stuff that had NOTHING to do with helping me out of the scene I was in. I hate games that promise you hints then give you NOTHING when you ask for a hint.

I have loved this game! The twist in the game, the ease of finding objects, and the mini-puzzles were great! The mini puzzles actually gave you the opportunity to figure out how to solve the games. I had to figure two of them out at length which I enjoyed. Who said our brains couldn't be picked on?! The only reason why I'm giving this 4 stars is because the game was kind of short. I finished the game in 3 hours (with breaks in between). I would've liked to see it go on a bit longer, but the game was awesome in a way.
It never ceases to amaze me with how the PREMIUM OR OTHER H.O games get their ratings; because 9 out of 10 that are rated 4stars and up are TOO EASY(this 1 included) to be taken as good game play value to someone who really gets into playing HO'S (which i don't I'm into match3"s for this very reason!) Like this 1 was it took me longer to solve the puzzles than it did to actually find things!!! Only reason i gave it 2stars is its OK for 14 & younger.
another great fiction fixers game fun and easy to follow

Fiction Fixers strikes again. I thoroughly enjoyed the story that had great voice overs and just the right balance of hidden objects to puzzles. A plus was the ability to skip a puzzle if you couldn't figure it out (I did). With a name like "Victor Vile" you knew immediately that you were going to get that guy - LOL. Enjoyed it tremendously.

I wasn't quite sure if I was going to enjoy this game when I first started playing, but it didn't take me long at all to get into it, and the longer I played it, the more I enjoyed it. Actually, the game itself got better as it went on, and there were some great moments in it. The feel of the game was very much in keeping with the books, which could be really quite dark and tense at times. I think that Frank L Baum would approve of this game. Without giving the plot away too much, (and I think it's fairly obvious what the outcome is anyway) it's really lovely to see the effects of all your hard work as the game progresses. It's worth backtracking to scenes that have already been cleared just to have a look. I think that was possibly the most enjoyable bit of the game for me. Really beautiful artwork. The characters were very true to the book, and I totally loved the lion. I want him. The graphics were excellent, the sound effects very good, and overall, it's a very well designed game. The hidden object scenes were nice and clear and the objects readily identifiable, which is a big plus. What I particularly liked was that you were told when an area was cleared so that you didn't keep looking in that area for items. I would like to see more games do this, as I found it very helpful. The mini games were mainly old favourites, but presented well, and some of them were quite tricky. I did have to skip a few, but the skip button fills quickly and there is no time penalty, which I also liked. I do agree that a few of the scenes are a bit on the dark side. I didn't have any real trouble finding things, but it could perhaps have been a bit lighter here and there. Some of the HOs seemed to crop up a bit too often in too many scenes, and perhaps a bit more variety would have been nice - but these are small quibbles and didn't really spoil an excellent game. It was a good length as well, and is good value for money. Overall a great game. I hope they do lots more in the series.
The only downside to a Fiction Fixers game is that if you know the story, you can tell how far you are in the game. Everything else is top notch! The hidden object scenes were just right; the mini games were just the right amount of challenge; the art, the dialogue, and the voices were perfect. I will happily buy every Fiction Fixer story that comes out!

I love The fiction fixers, it is a great idea. I also have the first game, and I must admit that I have developed a thing for Victor Vile - a great bad guy! I hope it is not the end of him, and that more fiction fixers games are coming.

This HO game is great. It challenges me in ways that are definitely good for the brain. Even though it is a little dark, I have had no problems finding the hidden objects and if I'm too impatient to look, just clicking on the name of the object to get a hint is a nice change. After my free trial time was up, I knew I had to purchase this game.

Except for graphics issues where I could not see the items that I collected this game requires thinking and solving skills and is addictive.

I really like this game. The graphics are great. I prefer games for fun and this one hits. Hidden objects are not too hard to find and the mini-games get harder as the game progresses. Right now, I'm stuck on getting the ball from top left to lower right, but the option to skip is always there to use if I give up. I think the mini-games may be a little difficult for kids. I'm going back to look for the "Wonderland" version. Would love to see more from this author.
Not as challenging as I had hoped- and often not logical.

Great game if you like HOG games. This one lkeeps you running back and forth to find the items and solve the puzzles. I bought it as an addon to another purchase so I got it really reduced. Only hang up for me was the size of download. Takes forever with my satellite coinnection. Had to go to someones else's home and use thier highspeed. Oh the woes of country living. All around great HOG

If you want to keep the kids busy during their breaks from school this is your game. The game will also keep the adult kid entertained. Great graphics. Some puzzles are a bit challenging but there is a skip option. Objects are not difficult with some object scenes more challenging however very doable with out help. I have played this game twice and enjoyed both times. Fiction Fixers is on to providing us more games to enjoy.
This game may be not the best but definitely good enough to say it's a great game: great graphic, good storyline,... I really like it and if anyone still wondering, I recommended you to try it now!

The download is far too large for the quality of the graphics. The search screens are too dark. I only played trial. Would not buy

I think the graphics were very well done. Some of the areas were a little hard to figure out. I liked the idea of the game. i did ask for help at one time , but figured it out before I got my answer. All in all it was a fun game.

the graphics...WOW!!! love the story being spoken. while the items all looked the same in the different scenes, i still enjoyed this game. the going back and forth b/t scenes was not annoying as it is to me in some games. i love the map-it is very detailed-i was actually able to follow it. liked that the map showed where i'd been and if there was more to do in the locations. COOL GAME!!! as always love the evil Illiterati!!!!!!!
I really enjoy the Fiction Fixers games. With The Curse of Oz you have medium-hard HO scenes and tasks to accomplish as well as mini-games that are "doable" for the most part. If you do get stuck, here is a skip button for the games and the hints recharge pretty quickly. You have a set number of places to go (3 or 4 usually) to complete a task so you aren't wandering all over trying to complete a task. I also like when you have done everything there is to do in an area it will say Area Complete. You don't have to always wonder if you found everything or completed all tasks. In short, I liked this game and I bought this game.
