Good graphics, interesting HO scenes, some of which you have to find objects which are outlined in the find list, and some you have to find before others are unlocked, other HOS require you to find symbols, testing your knowledge of Roman numerals and astrological signs, among other things. Very enjoyable overall, decent story line, decent adventure and good puzzles. Recommend it for people who like not your typical HOG

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The graphics are phenomenal and (as I was playing the CE) I did have to use the Strategy Guide on occasion. The storyline is great fun - the ending of the main game I thought let it down a little because is was very anticlimactic considering the effort it took me to get there! Playrix is rapidly becoming my second favourite game publisher behind Alawar. So yes, I recommend this game it has lots of locations, the problems are sometimes a little bit more linear than I can do but I did think the guide and the hint button were ok.
Really liked the graphics, storyline and the HOs and Puzzles. I'm thinking there may be another one...??

This was an unusual adventure game with some nice additions to the gameplay. The graphics were great, and the animated cut scenes were well done. The storyline was interesting, even if a bit was left unexplained, especially at the end! I liked that the hint system refilled instantly most of the time, as things could be hard to find and you weren't sure if you were looking for a direction or something still in that scene. It could be a little confusing where to go next, even though the game world was small. But, that might have just been me at 2:00 am so I didn't mark down for it. There were lots of different puzzles and the HOS scenes made sense, as you were getting supplies for your next costume. This was a cool feature! There were lots of neat little things about this game, and I really enjoyed it, even though the ending was a bit abrupt. For all the effort that clearly went into the production, it was a bit surprising. I would have liked to see the guy helping me again, and to have some explanation. The length of the game was still good, and I think it's good value. Nice to have something a little different!
I absolutely loved this game. Great graphics, storyline, dialogue and wasnt too hard to figure out. More of these please

I have to admit that while I am not usually a fan of games set in the Middle Ages I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Hidden object rounds are rare in this game but they are used for a unique purpose that I haven't found in any other game. There are quite of few interesting and challenging puzzles as well. I have to say this is one of the better games I have played in awhile.

I fully agree with the other reviewers, the graphics are great, the character interaction was fantastic and the storyline just about liveable. I also agree that the hint system could do with some work, it took me in and out of areas two or three times without telling me what exactly it was I was looking for... not helpful! The strategy guide you get with the Platinum Edition was a godsend and I really don't use them unless I can help it - but I needed it on this one. The game itself starts off and you think its going to be another kind of Guy Fawkes retelling, but it isn't. From making potions to save people from toxic smoke, to letting geese out of cages and stargazing - this game has it all. Yes, it is extremely complicated (unnecessarily so, in some places) but having said that I found it that good, I sat and played it all the way through and it took me hours!
Now this is how a HO/adventure game is supposed to be! Great graphics and good storyline. The bonus chapter really completes the game! You'll see everything in this game, interaction with the lead character (dressing her up), all kinds of HO-scenes, scenes that can move from left to right, all kinds of new puzzles, and you're involved from the very beginning 'till the end! This is one of those games I'll play a second time in a few months! I really loved this one! Thumbs up!!
I enjoy hidden object games and game is no exception, in fact, at first it's rather addictive. The graphics are good, the characters talk which is good, the story line is acceptable, not thrilling, not boring. Up to about the middle of the game, the hints and strategy guide worked very well. That's where the hints and strategy guide fail at telling me where I should go and what I should do. I'm stuck and am unable to get any further in the game. This is my disappointment in this game. The strategy guide at this point is useless and the hints tells me to click on an item, I do but don't have a clue what I'm supposed to do with it because neither of my 2 inventory items work on it. I'm frustrated and aggravated which is why I only gave this game 3 stars. If you enjoy HOG games, especially those from Playrix Games like I do, give this game a try. Maybe you'll be able to get further into this game than I did.
This game was not at all boring. The HO scenes were well spaced and didn't over-power the story line. Cut Scenes made sense and the imbedded mini-games were original and challenging. Just enought of everything and also an appropriate length for the money.

This game almost had everything. The story line held your interest, the graphics were great, the voice overs were well done, and the cut scenes were seamless. The only reason I didn't give this five stars was the lack of an interactive map. There was a good deal of back and forth which could have easily been avoided. There were maps for each section of the game, but all they did was orient you to your location. They neither gave you information nor did they help you jump to a particular scene. The mini games were mostly unique and interesting, ranging from ridiculously easy to moderately difficult. Along the way you picked up stones of knowledge which could be used to open bins in a chest that added to your knowledge of the customs and scientific knowledge of the age. The basic game didn't quite finish things off, but the bonus chapter did. It also left enough clues for a possible sequel. The game was quite complete and very interesting to play. It was more adveture than HO, but there was a good mix of both styles. This game is not only worth playing, but worth purchasing.
This was a very well-done game - great graphics, cut scenes, characters, story. The integrated strategy guide really came in handy because sometimes I just wasn't sure where to go next. The puzzles were very challenging - once again I'm thankful for a skip button. :) The HO scenes were minimal but I liked that they were used to provide you with disguises to move on to your next location. A great game worth playing!

This game had a great story and scenes. It was the most challenging game I've played in a long time. No problem however, because the entire storyline is listed in the game. I had to use the "hint" button three times because I could just not get through some of the more difficult parts of the game, I.E. the "smoking Pipe" was actually used for a "water pipe" and one of the "gear games" I could not figure out. But this game has excellent hints and a great "walk-thru". the game also had some "side activities". You had to dress up In different costumes and collect "stones" also. I highly recommend this game. It was very challenging but not confusing.
This was an unusual and clever game. Cut scenes, which are usually a yawn, are well done and add to Marla's character. The mini puzzles are entirely unique. The HOS are different, and for an interesting goal to costume the character. I could have done without the hint creature's dizzying twirl every time I clicked on him, and the way the inventory kept leaping up when I got near the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, it is a well constructed game and it's pleasant to play one that's off the beaten path.
The graphics are great. The interaction between the characters are really good. Your taken on a journey back in time. I loved the part where you get to change the way you look. You have a journal with a record of all the maps and all the other important info. the mini games are fun. I would of given it 5 stars if the pick locks had been more involved. Playrix did an outstanding job with this one more please. Once I started playing I couldn't stop until I was finished.
While graphics were well done and story was engaging, many of the objectives were too tedious and not nearly enough HO scenes to really classify it in the HO genre. Plodding through, I got bored with the mechanics of the game. The lock pick "puzzle" was way overdone and a waste of time.

I really liked this game. I thought the graphics were well done, the story line was interesting and the game itself was well-constructed. I found myself not wanting to stop playing and I didn't want it to end. If you're thinking of buying it (I have FunPass), I feel it would be worth the money.

A thief in medieval times fights to save her brother and her kingdom from a cult bent on keeping it's citizens in darkness and ignorance. In other words, good plot! An adventure (you have to find things and place them where they go to advance gameplay) with hidden objects mostly shapes of items you will need to disguise your thief. Also items to clear passages into a few new play areas. Plenty of unique and interesting mini-games, some more challenging than others. You keep a journal which you should refer to often as it explains some things you find and how and where you might use them. It also contains a map to refer to if needed. Graphics are nice with only a few dark areas. Different levels of gameplay and side quest to collect precious stones which will give a detailed history of the kingdom you are in and what is happening there when you place the stones in a case you carry. Sound and voices good, bonus extension of game available once you have rescued your brother. I played on casual level but will probably play again and try one of the advanced modes. Helpful responsive hint system, and a strategy guide available if you want or need to use it. Ending implies there might be a sequel, and I hope there is! If you enjoyed Namariel Legends-Iron Lord from Playrix, you will enjoy this one as well.
This is my first review of a game. I felt compelled to comment on it because it's such a great game! The story line was really good, the characters and cut scenes were involved, the graphics were great too. I liked that I could skip if I needed to and there was a quick (instant?) reset to the hint button. I tried not to use it too often, but was happy to have it available to me when needed. I found myself actually watching the cut scenes as they really added to the characters and story line. Playing the bonus level after the ending tied up a lot of loose ends for me. Very original and enjoyable game!
