I have only played the demo, but I have played enough H.O games to understand when one is going to be great and one isn't, and this one is. It is quite obvious what the point of the game is, to go around and cleanse demons from different places. The graphics are great and the scenes are dark but beautiful. If you really like dark games (which I love them, but not all the time), then you will like this. It is a very nice name with a good story so far and nice scenes. It is different from all of those games where all you do is seach in offices and on the street and at Police stations (which gets very tedious).

This game is meant to be spooky and it tries but the story is drab and repetitive, and lacks any attempt at humor. The HO boards are okay, but I had to resort to hints occasionally and when I did I'd realize the object was really heavily obscured. The mini-games were mostly annoying - either too easy or terribly difficult, badly explained and with no "reset" button so you could try again. Things are very uneven in this game - one scene will be childishly easy and another will not tell you anything you need to do, to the point of frustration. Also, in some of the puzzles (the broken mirrors, e.g.) there is no indication for when you have collected all the necessary pieces. The artwork is pretty good and atmospheric, and I like that the collectible objects tend to match the Victorian era, and you aren't searching for toasters or something.

From the beginning, the graphics pull you into the game. Very nicely done, including the "cut" scenes. The voices are appropriate for the story and the characters, which are great. This game is definitely not for those who don't like "dark" themes. An Exorcist, Demons, and a Warlock, highlight the storyline. The Demons are great, and when you click on them, they laugh (very creepily, which is cool). As Garet follows the trail left by Mephisto, he runs into cursed places that Mephisto created. Garet "cleans" the area and moves on to the next scene, where it begins again. In each scene, you have to find objects and complete puzzles. The puzzles can be a bit challenging and long, but you do have the option of skipping (which takes forever for the skip part to fill up). Very nice story, and the ending is NOT disappointing. You find out who Mephisto really is, and you find out what happens to the woman Garet loves. A highly recommended game.

Game is not bad till the end, it was too simplistic

Refreshingly original for those who enjoy darker themed games. A bit on the challenging side; at times I had to sit close to the screen for a minute or so to look for small items. Loved the music, diabolical whispering and sounds. However, the sound made when clicking for a hint is absolutely horrible and not at all in tune with the mood or theme of the game. It reminds me of music played at the Academy Awards. Might not irritate you as much as I, but it detracted from the "feel" of the game. So, use as few hints as possible. Skipped a couple of puzzles due to difficulty. Overall, great game; worth purchasing.

I really enjoyed this game. It had superb sound effects (can you hear the moaning and wailing??) and graphics. The story line worked well with the finding of the objects and the "demons" were ghostly. I especially enjoyed that the puzzles weren't too hard, in fact some were quite easy. Well worth playing!

From the very first scene this game pulled me in and didn't let go. The storyline just made me want to keep going. Graphics are beautifully rendered but some HO scenes were very dark making it hard to find objects without the help of the hint button (hints are unlimited but you must wait until it recharges - rate of recharge not bad). I did not find the dialogue portions that intrusive and they actually added to the enjoyment of the game for me. The game is untimed and there are no penalties for wrong clicks which is a good thing since I spent a lot of time clicking on things that looked like the HO I was supposed to find. Really loved playing this one and recommend you give it a try.

I like this game. It is pretty easy finding the HOs with the clues they give you. Definately not for kids because of subject content. I may purchase this one

So loved this game. Haven't finished it yet, and if it weren't for the forum I may have given up. The story is great and the graphics are engrossing. Keep up the good work with this type of play.

I expected a little more from this game. It would have been a better one if it was longer & there was less narrative. The narrative slowed the game down. The "mini-games" were not really games or puzzles. After you collected the needed items- it showed you where to place them. No need to figure anything out. What fun is that? As soon as I finished it I deleted it. No replay value here.

I am one who love scary and this is pretty good. The demons are with you through out the game and they stare at you while you are looking for things until you get the out of there. They make you want to find thing faster so they can get off the screen with red eyes and fangs watching. I thought it was like the movie when I seen the name but no heads are spinning in this. Nice story line. All in all it is a great game. Good Job. Whish there were more games like this.

This game was way way too short. Items to find were sometimes very small. I would not play again, it is not kid friendly.

It is not the best hidden object game I have played but it is not the worst ether. The dialoge clips are way too long and the voice acting is really bad.The puzzles to me where faily easy and the hidden object parts did take some time to complete cause it was unclear what you are looking for.I wish the game to be more creeper and darker based on the title and the setting. The ending of the story was disappointing to me,but for the price of just $2.99 it is a good deal.

Once you get past the overt "christianess" of the premise, the game is great fun. To say the graphics are fantastic is a gross understatement. The same for the voice acting, music, and cut scenes. I've played a lot of games and I don't think I've the graphics and acting done so well. This game is a sensual delight. Oh, the story is great, too. Good hint system. Absolutely fantastic production.

I didn't really enjoy this game. For starters, I'm immediately turned off when they ask you to find a "shovel," so you keep clicking on the shovel, but that's not what they want, and it turns out they want you to click on the spade or the trowel, and then in the next scene, they ask for the "spade" and they really want the shovel. No thanks. I didn't like having to switch back and forth between the scenes looking for things. The sound lagged horribly during cut scenes, and the demons cackling was irritating. Play the demo or use a fun pass, but I wouldn't buy this one.

The graphics & story was really well done, but the puzzles were too easy to solve. The graphics were detailed rich with the eerie settings. The characters made for good story telling through cut scenes. The demons were fun to click on just to hear their menacing laugh. I completed it to find out how the storyline unfolded.

While this isn't HUGELY innovative in terms of game play, it is a thoroughly good example of the HOG genre. The graphics are a good fit for the story line and conjure up a suitably spooky atmosphere and you'll get good value for your money in game-play time. The team that created this one are definitely on the right track.

I Spy for adults. It's really fun and worth the 2 bucks!

This is a great game! Sherlock Holmes meets ghostbusters... Stylish and genuinely spooky, it has fabulous art work and a moody Victorian atmosphere combined with a riveting story. Hidden objects can be hard to find but I always thought it was cleverly done once I detected them. Not for little kids though.

I wanted to finish the game but did not have the obssessed feeling of needing to keep playing. Some items I found too easy and others I fealt needed more direction. Didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Not bad to play if you have a fun pass but would not recommend buying it otherwise.
