This game is marred with MANY technical issues...it needs to go back to the drawing board! I liked the game premise BUT after 45 mins. the game issues became even more overwhelming. The creators need to simplify the actions of the characters so the game doesn't freeze up. This would have been a nice game for all the kids. Try this game at a later date when the creators have solved the MANY issues this game has. ;(((

Beautiful game with bits of puzzles and bits of fighting. It reminds me a bit of the original Zelda, except it is much more beautiful. The settings are original and very well designed. The music is awesome and fits the mood perfectly. Erin is a very good heroine and the supporting cast is hilarious. Great job!

Graphics is same old classic RPG. The characters' drawings look nice enough, especially the fat cat (I thought it was a hamster XD). The monsters' drawings seem poor though. Music is fine, though I kinda just tone it down since it gets annoying after a while. Story is pretty intriguing including the ending, there's something really wrong with that boyfriend XP. The game made me crisscross back and forth a lot. I had to take note of what and where, and sometimes check the walkthrough. There are 4 difficulties, completing each unlocks a new character and rewards. I would have done all of them if only the game didn't crash so often. It's a miracle I had enough patience to finish the game once. It basically only crashes occasionally when you pick an equip-able item, so make sure to save before picking up. Restarting the game and it's pickable again, pretty weird. I picked the easiest mode to play. However, it's not really easy. Since you can't have hp/mp items in inventory, hence none during the fight (well you have hp/cure items later, but not so significant), boss fights are pretty hard and many should be left until later when you're strong enough and have good equipments. Hp/mp/cure items are in forms of pickable and affect whole party. There are some puzzles in the game, some not quite hard, some I couldn't understand its logic and had to use walkthrough. Items' explanations are sometimes very poor or even none at all. Anyway, I like its concept, a little different from other RPGs. However, there're several issues I didn't like including that crashing every now and then. I don't think it worth purchasing. I may reconsider if they fix the crash, since it's pretty good replaying. Meanwhile, skip this if you get irritated easily.

Dreamscape is a pretty unique RPG Maker game. Basically it's one big puzzle - you are trapped in a dream and in order to get out you need to get through many other dreams. But the path isn't linear - to advance in one dream you will sometimes need an item from another dream, and to get this item you will need something from yet another dream... Progressing slowly through these dreams can be very addictive and rewarding if you like challenges. Also, visuals and music are really good and the dreams feel very distinctive - some are funny, some more adventurous and some are even quite scary. The enemies also differ in each dream. There are multiple difficulties and for each finished difficulty you get a unique reward (bonus character and so on), so the replayability is really good. Be warned, though - on Nightmare the game is very challenging and even on the easiest difficulty it's not easy to finish (battles are easy, but the "puzzle" remains). Still, it's one of my favorite games and finishing it feels very rewarding.

I really would like to say I enjoyed this game. However I tried playing the trial time first and every time I could find a new item the game would crash. A screen would pop up saying the RGSS player had stopped working. I couldn't get anywhere in the game and lost most of my trial game time because of the game freezing. Also maybe I just missed it but there wasn't that great of a tutorial at the beginning to show you how to move around and interact with stuff.

I love this game, yet when i downloaded the trial, thee were points in the game where id pick u an iem and itll freeze, or the gamwould stop working and id have to keep reloading the game. how ever, id skip that item and continue, itll stop working from time to time, freeze, or drag somewhat. I would buy the game, but only if itll work properly. also, when ever i make a move, im sue to save te game incase it shuts down on me again. over all, I enjoyed the game, just hated the problems.
