This game was one of the few where the storyline was so delightful that I actually followed it rather than clicking skip. The hidden objects & the puzzles were very interesting, but not so hard that I gave up on them. I really enjoyed the game.

I really enjoyed playing this game. You do more the just find objects. I found it very interesting.

This is definitely an adult game in my opinion. Maybe an older kid would enjoy it. I love this game. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and I love the story and everything you have to do. The scenes are very fun and different. I can't imagine anyone not loving this game. I didn't even finish the demo before I bought it.

Hard to quit, keeps you guessing, but could've been longer because it's so much fun.

Best graphics, hidden objects are sometimes challenging to find, super story line. Will play again and again.

I really liked this game. Not only does it have hidden objects, but also puzzles. And I loved the spooky music and pictures. My kind of game.

I love games like this. I though it was challenging but not overly frustrating.

This was an interesting game--better than the average hidden object game. Some areas were quite a challenge in spite of hints offered. The puzzles were stimulating.

I’ve had my eye on this game for quite some time, and never got around to playing it until recently. I’m glad I did. I have a love for all things related to New Orleans, especially the creepy old tales that inhabit it. The premise of the game centers around a Voodoo priestess named Jesse, and her ill-fated business deal with a woman of high society, Delphine LaLaurie. It’s an entertaining storyline, as well as a cautionary tale about the consequences of greed and the need for revenge. The game itself is very stylish with whimsical and brightly colored graphics. I was taken aback several times by the artwork and color palettes in this game. The sound effects can be pretty creepy, from ghostly giggling children to unseen unearthly moans that echo when you do something incorrectly. I enjoyed most of the music in this game, especially the music you hear while mixing up different concoctions in Jesse’s shed. Some of the music can be a little overbearing, but overall adds to the atmosphere. The puzzles are unique, and some present a considerable challenge. It’s very rare that I enjoy every puzzle a game has to offer, but this one really hit the nail on the head for me in that department. The HO scenes are well done. They’re not as interactive as I would have liked, and some objects are very difficult to find, however, the adventuring portion of the game makes up for it. You travel by carriage from area to area and collect and use plenty of items as Jesse shares more tidbits about her past, which is genuinely interesting. The voice acting is a little cheesy now and then, but gets the job done. Also, the game feels very short. I would’ve liked to have seen multiple tales, as opposed to just one. The title suggested to me the game was aiming toward being a virtual ghostly storybook. I was a little disappointed about that. But overall, the pros of this game outweigh the cons by a landslide. I would most certainly recommend this.

This game was a lot of fun. I wish that the game was a bit longer but I think that it would also be fun to re-play.

Really enjoyed this HOG!! Story was well done, graphics are great, I really don't have anything bad to say about this game!! I will say it's not for little kids because of the story. Love this type of HOG because you do more than just find objects!!

This is a superb game in every respect. The graphics are excellent, and the locations from swamps to French Quarter scenes to voodoo shacks are rich and varied. This is not an easy game. The HO scenes themselves are somewhat difficult, but I often had to use a hint to figure out what to do next. The hint "button" (in this case a bottle filled with liquid) does not regenerate quickly, but it does give you more time to think. You have to make several potions, so you must constantly be on the lookout for items outside the HO scenes that you need to add to inventory. There is a bit of back-and-forth, but not enough to detract from the game. The story line is compelling and a little spooky, and the music pulls you right in. This is an involved game with plenty of detail and should keep even the most exacting gamer satisfied. Of course, the story line left things slightly unfinished and led you to believe there might be a sequel, and I hope there is one. I do not recommend this game for pre-teens as there are a lot of references to voodoo and magic that might not sit well with some parents.

Enjoyed the game but it was too short. Completed in about 2 hours. Not a good value for the cost.

Wow! Played the one hour demo and was hooked so bought the full version. Most unique HO game I've probably ever played. Good graphics, interesting storyline, no tedious dialogue. I can barely step away from the game it is so addictive. Love it!!!!

This was challenging enough to please me. I liked everything about this game other than I wish it lasted longer. Looking forward to the next one.

I love hidden picture games but this one is more than that. I like the puzzle aspect of this game. I just wish there was more to it. I finished the game the day I bought it. Now it kinda seems like a waste.

This game had wonderful graphics, music, and good story line but the ending was not up to par. I had hoped for more at the end. The game was kind of short in my opinion. I had a bit of difficulty trying to find some things but it was not too hard. The creep factor of this game was low, not too high. Overall, it was a fun game to play!

Its storyline is great and not too revealing, it kept me guessing. Objects are well hidden and puzzles are pretty challenging. It is a very great and worthy game.

I thought this was a great game, very addictive, not just hidden objects but a variety of puzzles to solve. The hint came in very handy on occasions. Don't think it would be good for youngsters though.
