I've played these two games before, but somehow didn't really get into them. As the bundle came out, I decided to give them another chance... wow, I'm surprised to say that I'm totally hooked! Previously the problem for me was that the instructions were not very clear (i.e. how to play mini-games), but this time I really paid an attention to everything - and suddenly the game has become so much fun. In Club Control 1, you start with a shabby 'dive' but as you progress you start running much bigger clubs. I really like the idea that even if you fail to achieve Master score, you can always come back after unlocking better upgrades. By allocating customers to the right spot, you'll start filling up the bonus meter which will give you extra money once it's full. Every time you fill up the meter, the bonus amount will increase. But if you make a mistake (i.e. sending people to the wrong location), the meter will reset, so it gives you a motivation to be as accurate as possible and earn huge bonus before the level ends. Playing mini-games will boost happiness of all customers in the same area, which is useful when you are too busy to pay attention individually. You can swap customers between different locations with a right click, and press 'F' to fast-forward to make people move faster. Once you master these tricks & acquire various upgrades, the game becomes so much fun and satisfying. Club Control 2 is a sequel yet it's quite different. The graphic is improved & wide-screen ready, and you run a club in some tropical place (there's no explanation why that is) and people move & think much faster, thus there's no fast-forward key. But it's shame they omitted 'swapping' function, as it's definitely useful when all seats are full and you can't move anyone to their desired spot unless someone leaves the club. This time you're forced to choose one upgrade at each level. So I find it slightly less motivating to earn more money while in 1 having lots of cash was an advantage to expand your empire. Still it's challenging to reach Master in 2, so unlocking more upgrades is definitely important. Both games have different atmosphere, so in that sense playing as the bundle is definitely fun, say, after staying in the dark clubs in 1, you can switch to the tropical clubs in 2 to get some fresh-air! Overall, the games will really kick in once you advance to higher levels (and it gets very frantic!), so if you have given up the game previously like myself, I'd definitely recommend you to stay with them a bit longer!
